A suspect in New Jersey couldn't outrun
0:02
police today, even after they had their
0:04
morning coffee and donuts. Monroe
0:06
Township police officers had a suspect
0:08
on the move today, just not a very fast
0:11
one. Officers found a large turtle
0:14
wandering near Church Street and Academy
0:16
Street with no obvious owner nearby.

After a short and very slow pursuit,
0:21
police safely took the turtle into
0:23
custody. Officers are now trying to
0:25
reunite their shelled suspect with its
0:27
owner and are asking anyone with
0:29
information to contact Monroe Township
0:31
police or the Gloucester County Animal
