Governor Mikey Cheryl's administration
0:01
is facing another sexual allegation.
0:04
This time a criminal matter as a top
0:06
investigator at the Attorney General's
0:08
office has been arrested on AI child
0:11
pornography charges in Bucks County,
0:13
Pennsylvania. The deputy attorney
0:15
general faces felony charges after
0:17
Pennsylvania investigators accused him
0:19
of creating and sharing child sexual
0:22
abuse material using AI programs and
0:24
sharing those images online. Brian
0:27
Richard Fitzgerald was arrested October
0:29
15th at his home in Lower Mfield
0:31
Township. Fitzgerald is 51 years old.
0:34
The Bucks County District Attorney's
0:36
Office said Fitzgerald used artificial
0:38
intelligence programs to create abuse
0:41
images of children and he also
0:43
downloaded and shared material depicting
0:45
actual children. Investigators say the
0:48
case began with a July tip from the
0:50
National Center for Missing and
0:51
Exploited Children about an image shared
0:53
on Discord. Detectives traced the
0:56
account to Fitzgerald's home. He now
0:58
faces possession, distribution, and
1:00
communication related charges. In a
1:02
Bucks County courtroom, his bail was set
1:04
at $2 million with a 10% requirement,
1:07
and he was transferred to the Bucks
1:09
County Correctional Facility. Fitzgerald
1:11
was hired by former New Jersey Governor
1:13
Chris Christie and investigates
1:15
financial crimes for the state's
1:16
Division of Law, Banking, and Insurance
1:19
Section. He was paid $138,649
1:23
per year for his role as a deputy
1:25
attorney general. He was terminated from
1:27
his position on Thursday, but both New
1:30
Jersey Governor Mikey Cheryl and
1:31
Attorney General Jennifer Davenport have
1:33
remained silent on the matter since it
1:35
was reported last week. On Monday,
1:37
Fitzgerald no longer appeared in the
1:39
Bucks County Jail inmate roster. For
