THE STORY OF GODDESS ISIS - The Egyptian Goddess of Love and Healing

Learn the story of Goddess Isis, the Egyptian Goddess of Love, Healing and Magic. Isis is one of the most powerful Deities in Egyptian Mythology. Her cult was so big that it crossed the barriers of Egypt and statues dedicated to her were found even in Greece. Isis is the daughter of the Goddess Nut and God Geb. Her siblings are Nephthys, Osiris and Seth. The story of Isis is Osiris is very popular and shows the determination of Isis in search of the body of her brother and lover Osiris, killed by Set. At the end of this story Isis restores the body of Osiris and, with her magic, she recreates his penis using gold. Osiris returns to life and the two have their first child, Horus.
