There is only one variety of camembert that bears the protected name “Camembert de Normandie” and was introduced in 1983 as an official AOC label. To fully enjoy the camembert, it is advisable to let it reach room temperature first, just like you would with a good bottle of wine. This will allow the inside of the Camembert to melt a little and create the right texture for you to enjoy. For this camembert quiche with broccoli we also add a layer of bacon, which gives even more flavor to the quiche.
