207 - COFFEE Interview: Shaun Griffin, Phenomenal Christianity

What do you mean, "Phenomenal" Christianity?!? It's just another religion, right? What's so phenomenal about that? Well ... if you're trying to bring Heaven down to earth, as serious Christians tend to pray, then you await the phenomenal to be part of that answer. That's what you're looking for. As Shaun Griffin notes in his book, "As a Christian, imagine living a life of supernatural power every day. Jesus promised just that in Acts 1:8." He points out further: "The Gospel is a package deal, WORD and POWER. I Corinthians 4:20 - 'The kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power.'" (NIV) Shaun was born in Nyack, NY and lives now in Houston. He is a founding member of a monthly prophetic group called "The Well" at Encourager Church in Houston, Texas, where he currently serves as small group leader and evangelist. In 2019, he authored his first book, "Phenomenal Christianity: Walk in the Power of God Daily - Volume 1." It's a chronicling of his daily journeys through the marketplace in which he finds himself regularly administering prophetic healings and revelations in restaurants, grocery stores, department stores, malls -- wherever he happens to be when he receives a "word of knowledge" from the Holy Spirit. As he notes, this is where the Body of Christ should be in their daily walk among people, bringing "heaven to earth" in such a way as to make the supernatural natural.
