Doug Stringer is the founder of Somebody Cares America and Somebody Cares International, impacting communities around the world through prayer initiatives, compassion outreaches, training, and responding in times of crisis, as well as encouraging and equipping leaders globally. He came to Houston from his native Japan in 1980 and began street ministering in 1981 from which Turning Point Ministries was born. In 1994, the outreach of Turning Point Ministries grew to such a point that Somebody Cares Houston was born.
