Red Hot Pokers: Incredible Color all Summer

Red Hot Pokers are one of those plants that gardeners tend to love or hate. I loooove them. Especially some of these new shorter varieties because while they may not be growing 5-7' tall, they stay way more compact and push up new flowers for multiple months on end. They are a very low maintenance plant that will gladly grow in the intense summer sun, in poor soil, and droughty conditions. Highlighted here is a member of the 'Popsicle' series, a series I have been growing for a couple years and plan to keep growing!
