CANNA LILY Division - 2 Methods for Dividing Cannas
Apr 18, 2026
Canna lilies are some of the most popular plants grown both in containers and in garden beds for their thick, lustrous foliage and richly colored blooms. These easy to grow plants are incredibly vigorous and during the course of a growing season create many new rhizomes that can be divided and planted elsewhere, increasing your stock of plants in your garden from one season to the next. In this video I demonstrate two different methods for accomplishing this, both at the beginning of the growing season as well as at the end of the growing season. #cannalily #cannas #tropicalplants Get Vermiculite Here: https://amzn.to/3JJd4tu How to Grow Cannas: https://youtu.be/DbQ3OxHooKA Overwintering Cannas: https://youtu.be/bSwRplUr9dw My favorite garden tools here: https://amzn.to/4fFE20D More Videos on Perennials Here: https://tinyurl.com/ybdhrd6b More Houseplant Videos Here: https://tinyurl.com/f6k6uxbh ******************************* My favorite plants products: Best Deluxe Growlight: https://amzn.to/3Tz3Vm1 Best Inexpensive Growlight: https://amzn.to/3hz2gzV Growlight Bulbs: https://amzn.to/3G3bZIS Clamp On Growlights: https://amzn.to/3TCgqxy Rooting Hormone: https://amzn.to/3Uujxsx Best Fertilizer for Foliage Growth: https://amzn.to/3fUACgi Best Fertilizer for Flowering: https://amzn.to/3WRkcFY Fungus Gnat Help: https://amzn.to/3UO4A4h Floral Tape: https://amzn.to/3A6vH2B Insect Control: https://amzn.to/3A3DgHe Pruning Shears: https://amzn.to/3A6vQDb Timer for Grow lights: https://amzn.to/3TnuYAU Moss Pole Ingredients: https://amzn.to/3hDYTY8 Heat Pad for Propagations: https://amzn.to/3WMsYF8 More Plant Stuff: https://amzn.to/3WRkCMy Make sure to peruse my channel for ever more content related to all things plant!
