Buddha's Belly Plant: Jatropha podagrica

One of my favorite new houseplants that I have added to my houseplant garden - the Buddha's Belly. I love succulents like this that have swollen caudex stems. It looks cool and is useful because that swollen stem holds water and nutrients so it can subsist for long periods of time without extra watering. And the canopy of this plant gives it a real tree-like form, which is something very unique in the world of houseplants.
