Hi everyone and welcome back to Akiva International. My name is Anita and today we will have a
0:06
look together on the three tips that you can use to find a job in Italy
0:16
So my first tip for today is to download and use the Europass CV or Resume. I will leave
0:24
the link down below here so you can access to the Europass CV, complete it and then start
0:31
to send me to the companies. Personally I don't really like this kind of CV, however
0:38
it is the one required from most of the Italian companies, so use that CV
0:49
My second tip for today is to start contact the recruiting companies. I will leave here
0:57
for you a list of some of the biggest ones and you can definitely send your CV to them
1:03
and also go to their offices and try to see if there is a job available for you
1:10
Also part of my second tip is to use the website. We have quite a lot of websites here in Italy
1:17
that will allow you to send your CV to find a job. Also don't forget to use LinkedIn
1:25
because most of the companies now in Italy use LinkedIn to recruit as well
1:34
My third tip is very important, so be prepared to be speaking Italian. So let's have a look
1:43
at how it works more or less here in Italy. I would say that companies that have more
1:51
than 100 employees, they might be willing and they might be able to offer you a job
1:59
even though if you don't speak Italian properly. So they might be able to offer you a job in
2:06
English. This happened to me as well, well I do speak Italian because I am Italian but
2:13
I saw on my previous company that there were some people from India or Bangladesh, they
2:21
were speaking only in English and they got a full-time job with no problem at all. But
2:27
this company is quite big, has over a thousand employees. So for bigger companies or multinational
2:34
companies you might not have a problem and also you might not have a problem if you're
2:40
looking for startups because usually young people speak English quite well. So let's
2:45
have a look on which companies might require you to speak Italian. I would say the companies
2:52
which are from 0 to 100 employees, which are small or medium companies, very based on territory
3:01
So these kind of companies they will definitely require you to speak between a B1 or B2 of
3:08
Italian language and they will definitely do an interview in Italian. So you might have
3:14
to be prepared to speak Italian. I really hope that this video helps you to find a job
3:19
in Italy. If you need my help just send me a message down below. You have all my details
3:26
and see you soon to the next video. Thank you, bye
