Simba Only Defeats Scar Because Scar Is Weakened From The Drought. Dark Fan theory of "The Lion King" Part 6. Hello viewers! How are you? Welcome to Nibir Network. Today we will discuss about the 6th fan theory of "The Lion King", which is, Simba Only Defeats Scar Because Scar Is Weakened From The Drought. Feel free to check all of the other video I have made about "The Lion King". With that said, let's get back to our discussion topic. Scar wasn't that bad of a king. Ok, yes. He killed his brother. But that is something nobody knew (not even Simba who was actually there knew). So, for every other lion, Scar just lost his brother (and nephew) in a terrible accident. There was no reason for anybody to blame him. He was the rightful successor and a very intelligent one. He managed to manipulate EVERY hyena! So how could a powerful, smart leader succumb to a lazy, inexperienced teen? A massive drought. How bad you ask? Remember the landscape where Pumba and Timon find Simba? Yeah. That was the real reason of Scar's empire downfall. More proof: we know in the funny coconut song scene with Zazu, Scar and the hyenas, that there is lack of food. Scar says that "it's the lionesses job to hunt, and they refuse to do it", but later in the movie we see Nala hunting down Pumba far away from home. So the lionesses DO hunt. The problem is there is NOTHING to hunt. Even Nala tells Simba "there is no food and NO WATER". Logically without water, animals die or go away looking for it. That created a mass food lack. It shouldn't be a problem for a pack of lions, a couple hunts a week should do for them...but Scar welcomed the hyenas in their territory as part of their plot against Mufasa. A LOT OF HYENAS seeing Scar's uprise song. So, the lionesses blame Scar for welcoming the hyenas. The hyenas blame Scar for the lack of food. Scar was avoiding a civil war. And then Simba arrives claiming the throne. Scar is the alpha male. Because of the scar on his face we can assume he has experience in battle. Simba in the other hand, has spent years lying down whit Timon and Pumba eating bugs. No experience in fighting whatsoever. So was Simba strong enough to throw Scar away? Maybe.
