Is Tarragona better than Barcelona? You decide for yourself. After having been to both, my vote is for Tarragona over Barcelona. An impressive city of over 800,000 people, Tarragona is quite impressive, not just in looks, but in the historic ruins that are found all around the city. Lots to do, great food, miles of sandy beaches, and friendly people. What more could you ask for? a treat for any history lover.
