8-foot Burmese python found feeding on an opossum in backyard in Freehold

The python, which is native to southeast Asia, was pulled from underneath a shed by the Monmouth County SPCA. The SPCA believes the animals owner likely dumped the snake sometime last week after it had grown too large.
