Hi I'm Joost and I'm here today with the Suavecito Firm Hold and it really is a firm hold
0:04
And it smells like a little sea breeze. Just like the original hold does
0:09
But this hold really holds my hair up perfectly. As you can see
0:15
And it is a really wet hold. A really wet finish. Even a little bit more than the original
0:21
So the first thing you'll notice is the little skeleton which is really cool. I love the Suavecito brand
0:27
But also when you open it up, that is quite gooey. This one is a lot stickier than the original hold
0:34
And it really sticks to your fingers. So you have to make sure that you divide that up across your hands evenly so you don't get
0:40
any lumps. And it really is a very wet hold. So it's a little more towards the gel side of things
0:46
But you can still go through your hair and mix it up a little. It will not get crunchy or anything
0:50
So what I do is I divide a little across my hands and then apply that to the top of my hair
0:56
I make a few little spikes and push it together here and there. And then take a little bit extra and do the backs and sides of my hair again
1:03
Just to make sure that it holds all day. Now this type of pomade is great for a wet look
1:07
And I can also do longer hair like that of my son. Just to make sure that it will stay to the side or a little bit up
1:14
That way it will stay in shape all day. So you just need a little bit and it will already be enough
1:19
I think the Firm Hold is still a little bit better for longer hair than for short spiky hair
1:25
To get it in the right shape. Even though this really does have a lot firmer hold
1:30
But it's great to get like a slick look for longer hair and a slick back look even if
1:34
you want. And get that wet finish
