Basic Frittata Recipe
Ingredients:
8 large eggs
¼ cup milk (whole, half-and-half, or heavy cream)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup cheese (grated or crumbled, such as cheddar, feta, or goat cheese)
2 cups vegetables (cooked and seasoned, such as spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, or tomatoes)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Cook the Vegetables: In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add your chosen vegetables and cook until tender.
Combine and Cook: Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables in the skillet. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top.
Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the frittata is set and slightly golden on top.
Serve: Let the frittata cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
