Chinese Noodle Soup
This simple and tasty noodle soup has a broth that tastes like it came from your favorite Chinese restaurant.
Ingredients:
3 cups chicken stock (low sodium)
2 garlic cloves (smashed)
1.5 cm ginger piece (sliced)
1.5 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tsp sugar
1.5 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
0.5 tsp sesame oil (optional)
180 grams fresh egg noodles
Vegetables of choice (e.g., bok choy)
1 cup shredded cooked chicken
1 shallot (finely sliced, optional garnish)
Instructions:
Combine the chicken stock, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sugar, and Chinese cooking wine in a pot. Bring to a simmer.
Add the noodles and cook according to the package instructions.
