1 cup quinoa, rinsed
2 cups water or milk (or a combination of both)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
A pinch of salt
Optional mix-ins: fresh or dried fruit (berries, bananas, raisins), nuts or seeds (almonds, chia seeds), and a dollop of yogurt
