Who knew that such a healthy snack, could be that good! 🤩
It is an excellent alternative to apple crumble and is so easy to make in the air fryer! The apple bakes perfectly and you get that magical crunch at the top, nutty and naturally sweetened by the honey. It is 💯 vegan by using Myprotein coconut oil instead of butter. It's a great way to start the morning.
Ingredients for 2 apples, 4 halves:
2 apples
40g oats
20g pecans
10g coconut oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp honey
Pinch of salt
Maple syrup as a topping (like no tomorrow)
Instructions:
Cut apples in half through the stem and use a knife or a spoon to remove the core, stem and seeds.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients and mix until well combined.
With a spoon, transfer the topping on the apple. Bake in the air fryer for 10-12 mins at 180C
