
Berries Chia Bites: Perfect For A Snack! | Myprotein #shorts

Vegan and gluten-free too with only 5 ingredients 💫
Ingredients
250g frozen berries
2 tbsp Chia seeds
2 tbsp maple syrup
100g dark chocolate
2 tsp of Myprotein Coconut oil
Instructions:
Place the frozen fruit into a bowl and, once the fruit is softer, add chia seeds and maple syrup.
Press down with a fork to mash the ingredients and mix well.
Prepare a chopping board with some baking paper on top (this will make the next step easier) and scoop one tbsp of the chia mix onto it to form a disk shape.
It should make ~10 bites.
Freeze for 1-2 hours or until solid.
In the meantime melt the dark chocolate (for this I have added 2 tsp of coconut oil to 100g of chopped dark chocolate. Microwave for 1 minute and 30, stop and stir every 30 secs)
Take the chia bites out of the freezer and dip them into the chocolate, helping you with a fork. Cover both sides. At this point, you need to be quick as the chocolate will solidify very quickly.
Lay the chocolate into a tray with some baking paper on top. If you wish sprinkle some extra chocolate.
