about Moses. Everybody knows about Moses

and the Red Sea, but he had to endure a

lot of other things. Sometimes in our

life, we feel trapped. And I'm sure when

the children of Israel were leaving

Egypt and Pharaoh sent his army to bring

them back, they felt trapped when they

came to that Red Sea. But you know what

the Bible teaches? There was a mountain

to the right of them. There was a

mountain to the left of them and there

was that Red Sea. But the perilous times

that might happen to them was when the

army of Egypt was sent by Pharaoh

himself to bring them back. Well, we

understand that God's power

was displayed tremendously that day. He

delivered them. He let Moses raise his

staff and call upon him. And then his

power opened up the Red Sea that no one

else could ever open up. What looks

impossible sometimes as a closed door in

our life today. Well, it might be

impossible for man, but God can do

anything. Absolutely anything. Exodus

chapter 14 is a great place to look at

this story. The Israelites faced

God used Moses to raise that staff and
