Unbeknownst to them, an employee from a different bank across the street spotted their entry and called the police. Riverside County Sheriff Deputy Glyn Bolasky was the first officer on the scene, and a shootout ensued, resulting in the death of one perpetrator. The remaining robbers stole a vehicle and led police on a 25-mile car chase into neighboring San Bernardino County. As the chase reached a dead end, the robbers made a desperate and shocking decision...
