In this video, I'm going to show you how
0:01
you can create a playlist in Shortcut.
0:04
So, when you're setting up with
0:05
Shortcut, it's good to go ahead and
0:07
organize your video clips and image
0:09
clips in an orderly manner before you
0:11
can add them to timeline. So, the first
0:14
thing is to give your project a name and
0:16
then tap on start to commence. Now, as
0:20
you can see, we have this interface and
0:22
it will be so much hard for you to start
0:24
adding your videos. So I have here
0:26
several number of videos and images but
0:29
I don't have just a playlist that I can
0:31
add. To create your playlist just go
0:33
ahead and look for a playlist option on
0:36
top here. And if you look at this you
0:38
can see you have a playlist. So to
0:40
create your playlist just go ahead and
0:42
tap on playlist. And now you see we have
0:44
a playlist here. So from here go ahead
0:47
and drop all your videos to this
0:50
playlist. And now I can go ahead and
0:53
select the videos that I want. I can
0:56
select one by one or I can just select
0:59
as a group. For instance, I can take
1:02
multiple of them and then just drop them
1:04
here in my playlist and they'll all be
1:07
added. Now, it is good to organize your
1:08
playlist such that you can be able to
1:10
read the titles under each clip that you
1:13
have just added. So, if you don't have
1:14
this view that gives you the clip
1:17
titles, go ahead and change the view
1:20
from here. We have tiles and we have
1:22
icons. So in most cases you'll find that
1:24
your video maybe are in this format. If
1:26
you're okay with this format the icon
1:28
view it is okay. But if you want them to
1:31
appear as a list you can as well go
1:32
ahead and try out this or this. Now from
1:36
here you can now start adding your video
1:38
clips to your timeline. To add a video
1:41
clip to your timeline just identify the
1:43
clip you want to come first. Just click
1:45
on it and drag and drop down here to the
1:48
timeline and it will be added.
1:50
Alternatively to add a video clip to the
1:52
timeline if you want to add the next.
1:54
Another way is just to go ahead and
1:56
click on the clip like this and then tap
1:59
on this plus icon here. If we tap on it,
2:02
it will be added directly to our
2:05
timeline. So just add as many as you
2:07
want and then begin your project. If you
2:10
want to rearrange them, you can as well
2:12
go ahead and rearrange them by just
2:14
moving them around. and to make sure
2:16
that you don't lose any of the clips you
2:17
have added. Make sure you turn on this
2:19
ripple function. And now you can replace
2:22
this and they'll exchange positions. So
2:25
that's how you create a playlist in
2:27
shortcut. If this video is helpful to
