0:01
from our our chief elder
0:06
and um we went to see him last week, myself and
0:13
the leadership of the church to visit him. We are grateful that we went. Amen.
0:18
Um we will visit him again if God allows us this week. Um uh Sister FY isn't is
0:26
under the weather. So those of you that can call and check up on her after service, please do so to show love and
0:34
support at every stage. Lift up one hand. Let us pray.
0:40
Father, I give you praise and glory for the opportunity to be used by you to
0:45
teach your word to the generations. I am grateful and thankful for your hand and
0:52
power over my life. Lord, let your spirit flow through me. I submit my
0:59
ability to speak and every instrument of use for your purpose this day within my
1:06
body into your your obedience. That Lord, you would use and influence every
1:13
diction, every word, and every action and every context used for your glory.
1:20
Take charge of the atmosphere. influence every afterthought and every critical
1:26
thinking, every rationality, anything that must back this sermon for our uh good cause.
1:34
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Can I have the second microphone as a
1:40
backup just in case? Hallelujah. This morning I want to speak on a very
1:47
important topic God laid on my heart. Um the word is uprightness versus
1:53
wickedness. Tell somebody uprightness.
2:13
Uprightness versus wickedness. What is uprightness? Number one, it refers to
2:19
the quality of being honest. I can go ahead, right? It refers to the quality
2:25
of being honest, honorable, just, virtuous, and morally
2:33
correct. The word uprightness is the same in
2:38
meaning to the words decency, honesty, respectability.
2:44
What does respectability means? You do what is right so nobody can just
2:51
insult you. Amen. Or accuse you. Amen. So respectability, morality,
2:59
a proper defined sense of right and wrong. Honorableness,
3:04
not the political honorableness, but the honorableness. Hallelujah. Of life.
3:11
Worthiness. Some of you are not a politically appointed honorable. Some people when they are coming to speak to you they are they are almost ashamed or
3:19
afraid. They say hey you are a big man p you and him knows that this grace that
3:25
has kept you. Hallelujah. I'm talking about the honorableness of God the worthiness of God.
3:32
Uprightness is the same as righteousness. Tells of righteousness.
3:40
The book of Psalm 15:2 says, and I read, "He that walketh uprightly
3:47
and walketh righteousness and speaketh the truth is in his heart."
3:54
Let me try and rephrase the statement properly. The Bible says, "The people who are on God's heart, the people who
4:01
God keeps in his heart, the people who are extremely important to God are those
4:06
who walk uprightly." Tell somebody uprightly and do the works of righteousness.
4:12
So to attain divine premium, to attain divine respect from God, to be so
4:18
important to God, one needs to practice righteousness. One needs to be able to focus on God.
4:27
Another definition or lay man's definition of the word uprightness is looking up to him. You upright, you
4:35
uplook to, you depend on him on every stage. Your reactions, your actions,
4:42
your reasons, whatever you do is focused on God.
4:48
Hallelujah. So if you want to be very important in this life, so important that no enemy
4:55
can afford to touch you
5:07
and no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
5:14
You see um until now the major focus of Christianity has been let us pray. Let
5:21
us fast. If we don't pray, God will not do it. If our focus has been as if God
5:26
is a man who has forgetfulness and we need to remind him. Our focus has been to bombard God until he's forced to do
5:32
what he said he would do or what he said he would even do. Then we can pray to
5:37
enforce that will on earth. That isn't Christianity, brothers and sisters. Any concept of that isn't
5:46
Christianity. It is the devil's way of wasting your time.
5:51
Hallelujah. Up to now, people's biggest focus if
5:57
they want a husband, they want something. Let's wake up at night and pray. Let's us go to prayer camp. Let's
6:02
see the biggest prophet in town. Let's receive prophecy. Let's run with prophecy.
6:09
And so many have crashed their destiny, fallen to sickness and death. So many people have met their untimely end
6:15
because they have never sought to seek where God will put everything aside and
6:21
come for you. He may leave the 99 for one 99 righteous
6:27
for one unrighteous person, but the person who God's heart dreams about, I
6:33
don't know how many of you are in love, but when you're in love with a girl, when the phone rings, your heart skips a
6:40
beat. When you see her picture, you forget all your problems.
6:47
When you are busy doing anything and you remember her, you
6:53
put everything down and call her. The same with men. Some of you women, when you are in love with a man,
7:00
it's like the sweetest joy you can have that he's remembered you that day.
7:06
Some of you when your husbands call you in the afternoon to check up on you, then
7:11
say, "Yes, your husband has called you." You know love is that sweet but it is not the
7:18
love I'm talking about. It's the way you place importance on that person. If a
7:23
person wants to be so important to God that the whole of heaven's resources is at his beg and call that person needs to
7:31
walk uprightly. That person needs to practice uprightness. That person needs to adapt righteousness in life.
7:39
The Bible said all has been done so we could come. The Bible didn't say we are going to come and do it all ourselves.
7:44
He said all has been done so we can come to God so we can be important before the Almighty.
7:51
Am I making sense to somebody? Amen. What is wickedness? What is wickedness?
7:59
Wickedness is the quality of being evil or morally wrong. When a person is evil or morally wrong,
8:08
that person is equally also morally bad or evil. So wickedness is the same in meaning
8:16
with the word evil. Evil representing Satan,
8:22
mischief, tom foolery. When you say somebody is tom foolery, it means the person likes
8:30
it's just beyond stupidity. suggest that the person has no respect for other people's emotions. They are they are uh
8:40
on a high octane of joy at the expense of others. They can endanger your life
8:45
so that they will laugh. They can destroy your life so that they'll go and sit somewhere and make fun of it. They
8:51
are tom foolery. They common sense doesn't play a role in what they do.
8:56
It's getting the kick off what they want that that makes it okay for them.
9:05
The word wickedness is synonymous with words like naughtiness. You're naughty. You don't know when your child is
9:10
naughty. They are doing what is wrong. You know, you are trying to seek what is good for them. They still want to do
9:16
what is wrong to them. They don't care what your good intentional. You want to beat the hell out of them. They are
9:22
still determined that they want to maintain their wrong status. Wickedness
9:29
is deceit. When a person loves to deceive others and is deceitful, that
9:35
person is called wicked. Psalm 37 the 1619 said, "A little that a
9:44
righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked."
9:49
Tell somebody, the little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many, many
9:58
wicked people. And I know modern day Christians don't agree with that nonsense. Hallelujah.
10:04
They don't care the color of your money. So far as is money they can spend, it's good money. I rely
10:12
so far as they can afford to enjoy life to the fullness, forget about it. But
10:18
the Bible is saying that the little that a righteous man has is far better in
10:24
weight and value than the extreme wealth of wicked people.
10:29
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord will uphold the
10:35
righteous. The Lord knoweth the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be
10:42
forever. Two things, the unrighteous or the
10:48
wicked person has lots of money, but God is not their help in time of trouble.
10:54
Number two, God knows their end must come soon or
11:00
God promises the end their end to come soon. And finally,
11:07
the Bible says he would break the strength of the
11:12
wicked. God himself says when the wicked feels comfortable, when they have planned everything thinking that
11:17
everything should work their way, he God will destabilize and destroy their
11:22
works. The Lord knoweth the inherit the days of the upright and their inheritance shall
11:30
be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the time of evil. Please see if the
11:36
Bible is just underline that part. Underline that part. You see evil people love to scheme and plan bad things. They
11:43
never stop. And and I remember one day we were sharing and discussing things of scripture and somebody said that if if
11:51
evil people conspire to fight a good man they will always win. I said no. They said it's not possible. He said he said
11:58
because the wicked person would do everything outside the book to get you
12:04
and the righteous man is always sticked by the sticking by the law and by the rules and so he's kept there. That is a
12:10
lie. When I was growing up, there was a there was um a law a law show called Matlock.
12:19
I don't know how many of watch before. Matlock. So Matlock was a lawyer who didn't believe in lying.
12:26
So it didn't matter how your case is, he must find a truth about your case for
12:32
which he must sell to the jury and to the judge to take you
12:37
off the case. And I love that show. I loved watching that show as a little boy because then
12:44
it gave me a better perspective of understanding what right really is and
12:49
how you can use right in its context to break through.
12:56
So many Christians in the heat of struggles listen to bad advice and do
13:03
something that in the end causes them more trouble. I promise to share with you something
13:10
someday very soon. But the truth is that for example if you had a legal case and
13:17
they tell you oh if you say it this way they won't understand so you have to say it that way and you think that the
13:23
counsel they are giving you is good because telling the truth may end up in trouble. The reality brothers and
13:29
sisters that truth tell somebody the truth sets free. It liberates. It makes
13:36
it possible. Hallelujah.
13:42
Because when you lie, you need to now find up many, many other evidence to prove your lie is the truth. And it
13:49
makes it impossible to win a case. Are you with me, church? And so the Bible says that the righteous
13:57
shall not be ashamed, not in the day of evil. Listen, the Bible said that God
14:03
created evil for the time of evil. And we know that the devil has some power to
14:09
execute when it is within his time. Are you understanding me? And this is what
14:14
God is promising. He said, even in the time where the devil has the biggest hand over you, he wouldn't win the
14:20
battle against you. I don't know whether you get it but even when the enemy feels that he has enough
14:28
evidence to bury you for life, God is going to wipe your clean your slate
14:35
clean with the blood of Jesus and redeem you for a good purpose. Hallelujah.
14:41
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. In the day where
14:48
every other person should struggle, you will find sufficiency in your situation.
14:53
Somebody lift up your hand and say, "I receive it. I believe it." Amen.
15:01
When a person is upright, he is known to have these qualities. Number one, he has
15:06
faith in God as compared with a person who is wicked,
15:11
who is self-centered. There's no faith in anybody. The only person they trust is themsel.
15:17
He doesn't believe there's a God anywhere. A wicked person hates God.
15:24
He hates everything about God. He hates the law about God that says be kind to others. Be be nice, give to others.
15:30
Everything that has got to do with godly principles seems to annoy them.
15:36
Everything infurates them when it comes to God. Forgiveness infurates them.
15:41
Kindness infurates them. Love infrates them. kindness, if everything
15:48
makes their blood boil. When a person's upright, they love
15:54
humanity. They are not racist. They are not tribalist.
16:01
They are not nepotist. They are not narcissist. Huh?
16:07
Not what? Narcissist. That word is interesting. Narcissist.
16:13
Huh? That means if it's not them, nobody can have it.
16:19
Huh? They say political narcissism. A party believes they are the only
16:24
person fit to rule at a certain time. Every other person is is incorrect except them.
16:30
And so if something is good, they must see it bad.
16:35
So, so when a person loves humanity, he cannot say because you are black, you
16:41
are less a human. Because you don't speak my tongue, you don't deserve life.
16:48
Let me say this. A lot of the time we see videos of how Africans trying to
16:53
cross through the desert have been met by the Arabians who have killed and and
16:59
mutilated our people and treated them badly and beaten them to death. These same people go into their churches into
17:06
their mocks and claim that their God is love and their God expects them to be kind to strangers.
17:13
Which better stranger than the refugee who is coming to your country who is seeking a place of refuge?
17:22
So if a person wants to walk uprightly, he must love humanity. That's the reality. He cannot love his kind only.
17:28
He must appreciate every kind of human being God has created. Black, purple,
17:34
red, blue, Indian, whatever color, brown, whatever you are, you are human
17:40
enough. You are worth every opportunity of life. You are worth every right and
17:46
human rights to life.
17:53
When a person is wicked, they have no fear of God. The fear of God isn't
17:58
walking around fearing that God would strike you with a thunder or with a hammer and kill you. But the fear of God
18:05
is acknowledging God in everything we do. that the opportunities God gives you in
18:12
this life, he is part of that opportunity. And that the people I deal with when I
18:19
meet them, I am dealing with God. And so if I'm in a place of authority and power and I abuse a stranger and I
18:27
hurt somebody because he's not my clan man, he's not my tribesman, he's not my
18:32
religion, that it wouldn't matter. It matters. Tell somebody matters.
18:40
So the fear of God is making sure that anybody we deal with, we deal with them
18:47
as if we're dealing with Jesus. Sincerity, truth, love, appreciation,
18:52
acceptance. An upright person fears God.
19:01
An upright person perseveres in doing good. They don't give up doing good.
19:06
They keep on doing good irrespective of the hedles, the challenges they keep facing.
19:14
A wicked person is deceitful. He says A and means B. He declares
19:22
so but it is no.
19:28
He is full of malice. Every intent is for your destruction.
19:33
Even is offering food. He has a plan to destroy you through the food.
19:40
He's full of pride and having a propensity to lead others astray.
19:49
They can't help themselves. They must lead others away. They come and they tell you, Dick, are you sure the Bible
19:55
is not been watered down? Are you sure the words in the Bible, they are true? If men copy the interpreted, are you
20:02
sure they have not changed the words in there? They have wisdom to lead you as three.
20:07
They make they give you probable cause to justify the wrong you do to justify
20:12
the things you do that are not right. Yeah. For those of you been looking at
20:19
my hand and you don't see my favorite wedding band, I've lost so much weight it keeps falling off my hand. Forgive
20:25
me. Your wife wants to join me and be slim like me. Now I'm a role model. I I used
20:32
to have belly on my sides and everywhere. Hey, my thousand is I'm still waiting for it to
20:39
show you suck if I want to. Hallelujah.
20:45
So um they will lead others astray
20:50
intentionally. They come and they tell you you know this we when you smoke this weed your brain go make w your brain you
20:57
can learn
21:12
apparently I learned that when somebody says that they take drugs to feel good
21:18
it only numbs them they don't feel it they are high for almost between life and death and they pass out.
21:26
I thought actually it's like when you take a painkiller and the pain goes. That's actually not how it is. They go
21:32
on a higher level. They can't even feel themselves and they pop off between life and death until the body struggles to
21:39
recover them back in consciousness. And yet they will go back for that high
21:44
for that feeling and the problem doesn't go. They wake up to the problem. It's like somebody going
21:51
to quaff their problems away. Alcohol and then they get so they get so drunk.
21:56
They feel like they sleep forever and they sleep and it lasts only two hours and they wake up and the problem comes again in the morning. They have to face
22:03
the problem till morning. Then it's worseer than when they hadn't drunk alcohol.
22:09
You hear people say things like alcohol is good for your body. The body needs some 2% alcohol. If you take it, your
22:16
heart work better. People drink alcohol bow now they have pot belly
22:23
they look at at first people look at me and say you are taking away sugar and eat it that's why you are this fat I
22:28
said hey it could be true oh then as we grew I could see people who regularize
22:34
their beer and everything they were now looking rich in their tummy look as if they have been storing their money
22:40
inside their stomach hallelujah they are handsome and glorified there
22:46
hallelujah Yeah. Amen.
22:52
Let me laugh at them small. They may laugh at me for years. Let me laugh small. Hallelujah. Amen.
22:59
I pray I never go back. I pray I never I never go back. Otherwise, I laugh at my own self.
23:11
People who are wicked have little or no regard for the well-being of others.
23:17
You see people willing to take bad decisions that will affect every other person. They don't care because they are benefiting
23:24
because they are benefiting to hell with everybody. So they have little regard for the
23:30
well-being of others. People who are wicked are arrogant,
23:37
egotistical. Why are they arrogant? You see
23:45
they cannot accept fault or wrong. You see they have an imaginary honor in
23:53
their head that is able to cloud their judgment from right and wrong.
24:01
And so they are wrong. Oh, but to admit they are wrong in front of you, heck, they will die.
24:08
to allow their own conscience to structure them to know this is wrong. They should pause. They will go away
24:13
into destruction. An an aggressive person is also a wicked
24:20
person. I know sometimes people think being aggressive is just being wild. But no, the aggression we are talking about
24:26
is when you enjoy putting others through pain and suffering. Don't worry, it has nothing to do with that. Just leave it
24:32
this is the current surges. Are you with me?
24:38
So um they are aggressive
24:43
but a up an upright person loves to obey God. They love to find the rules of God
24:50
and to obey them. An upright person loves an honest God. He trusts in God.
24:55
Because he trust in God. He knows that the rules and regulations, the call of God to worship and every other thing God
25:01
asks for is for their own good and for their own purpose.
25:08
The book of Proverbs 11:18:19 says, "The wicked workketh a deceitful work, but to
25:15
him that sweth righteousness shall be a sure reward."
25:21
So the wicked, all the wicked does is that they plan to bring trouble
25:28
pretending as if they are solving problems. Now when I look at these things and I look at the the
25:33
geopolitical status of our world where people want to give you a loan only so that they'll bankrupt your system and
25:39
make you a sovereign nation when people want to organize espionage come and support your opposition with money so
25:46
that they'll destabilize the good things you want to plan for your own country you realize that evil doesn't live far
25:51
it is inhumity are you with me
25:56
so the Bible says that uh that wicked person is always working a deceitful work. But those that do righteousness,
26:06
they sow it. And because they sow the righteousness, there's a sure reward. It says as righteousness tends to life,
26:14
so that so he that pursue evil pursuit to him death. So in the same way as if
26:21
somebody does righteousness and it it brings forth life and good things so
26:26
does any man who practice wickedness does it to his own detriment and
26:32
destruction. Let us read the Bible together in the book of Psalm 1. We are reading 1 to
26:38
three and I read, "Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of the
26:46
sinners, nor sits in the seats of the sconeful, but his delight is in the law
26:51
of the Lord, and in his law does he meditate day and night. He shall be like
26:58
a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his
27:04
season. His leave also shall not wither and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
27:13
Whatsoever whatsoever he does shall prosper.
27:21
The Bible says that if someone decides not to walk in the counsel of
27:27
the ungodly, someone decides to walk away from wickedness and not to make his
27:33
place with wicked people, that person is blessed. It is a blessing.
27:39
That person puts his delight in the law of God by being righteous and meditates
27:44
his on the word of God day and night. He said that person shall become like a tree that is planted by the rivers of
27:50
water. He has no season that fails. When there's a dry season is abundance.
27:57
When it's a raining season, there is abundance because he is not supplied by
28:02
one source of water but by many. Hallelujah.
28:08
Amen. And amen. Wickedness puts one on the broad way to
28:16
hell and destruction while up on the broad way to hell and destruction while
28:21
uprightness keeps one on the narrow and straight path to God. Jesus puts it this
28:27
way in the book of Matthew 7:13 to 14. And I read said, "Enter into that.
28:35
Enter in at the straight gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that
28:41
leads to destruction, and many there be which go in there.
28:49
Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and
28:54
few there be that find it.
29:03
Jesus is saying that to find righteousness only few people will find it. To find the path of light, to find
29:11
uprightness, only few can find it. But the crowd, the large numbers, it is easy
29:18
for them to find the part of wickedness that will lead to their destruction.
29:24
Why? Because there are many roots to wickedness. There are many roots. They
29:29
are abroad that leads to one's destruction. Isaiah
29:36
3:10-11 says says that ye say ye to the
29:41
righteous that it shall be well with him for they shall eat the fruit of their
29:46
doings. Woe unto the wicked, it shall be ill with him, for the reward of his
29:53
hands shall be given. Ladies and gentlemen, I want to state for a fact that God hates wickedness.
30:01
God hates wickedness. And God has committed himself to destroy wickedness on the face of this earth. He takes
30:08
respons. He doesn't send his angels. He takes responsibility to untie the knots of wickedness
30:15
to remove the schemes and plots of wickedness
30:23
from succeeding. If a man chooses to walk in wickedness,
30:29
he makes himself an enemy number one to God.
30:38
Proverbs 11:8 says something. It says that.
30:53
I will cause a wicked man to suffer in hisstead. Ah
31:00
substitution. God has determined that every time the enemy plans or your friend plans to
31:07
scheme wickedness against you that he will deliver you. But quickly as he's about to deliver you, he will make sure
31:14
a wicked person stands to suffer. Every time they skin evil and skin
31:22
wickedness against you, it cost them a lot more than what they have planned.
31:30
The book of Micah 2 the verses 1-3 Bible says, "Woe to them that devise iniquity and work evil upon their beds. When the
31:37
morning is light, they practice it because it is in their in the power of their hand and they convert fools and
31:44
take them by violence and houses and take them away. So they oppress a man in his house, even a man in his heritage.
31:51
Therefore, thus says the Lord, behold, against this family do I devise an evil
31:57
from which ye shall not remove your necks, neither shall you go hortily, for
32:03
this time is evil.
32:08
God is saying that if you're a man who loves to plan and scheme wickedness and to love to work evil against people, the
32:17
Bible says that because you think you have the power to, you have the connections, you have the influence,
32:23
spiritual and physical and political influence to cause harm to others.
32:29
You have the financial might to frustrate others. This is what God is saying. He says
32:35
because you think like that and you are working like that I God I am going to plan evil against you and trust me
32:42
nothing will be able to deliver you from that evil. So he says nothing you cannot be able to remove your necks. No amount of prayer, fasting, prophetic
32:50
revelation, no amount of demonic powers and authority will be able to save you
32:55
from the evil eye God plans towards the wicked.
33:03
You would need to make a choice in life. Brothers and sisters, make a choice to walk uprightly
33:10
so that every good thing due will come. So that the walk with God, the journey
33:16
with God will be good for you. So that it doesn't matter what the enemy throws at you, you will always come back
33:22
stronger, come back better, come back prepared.
33:28
Proverbs 12:3 says, "A man shall not be established by wickedness."
33:34
So you are a wicked person. You are walking wickedly. You think that you and your generation will be rich forever.
33:41
God will break the cycles of inheritance. God will break the the piles of storage of wealth you have stored. God will destroy the cycles that
33:49
you think you have planned because you made a choice to walk in wickedness.
33:55
This is what this is what God said. But the roots of the righteous shall not be moved.
34:02
When you walk in righteousness, you create a security for your children's life.
34:09
Let me let me say this for a truth. If you're a pastor and you walk after righteousness and preach righteousness,
34:16
you bring a divine covering to your children. Not your home, the children in your church, the people in the the floor
34:22
God has given you. You bring a unique covering to them.
34:28
Listen to me. This is not the only church in Ghana. Trust me, there are bigger, financially
34:36
stronger churches who are sharing gagantra messages every day, sharing gagantra testimonies every day.
34:44
But the life of the people in that church doesn't depict there is a God. It depicts there's a mighty man there.
34:51
It doesn't depict there is God because Bible says where the presence of
34:57
God there is peace, there's protection.
35:02
People can be under mighty men of God and they are beaten down to destruction.
35:08
Sickness ravage their body to death. All manner of things happen.
35:14
But the secret to the strength of that church isn't prayer, isn't fasting, isn't more prayer. It is righteousness.
35:23
Righteousness allows you to be hidden in Christ Jesus, then hidden the Holy Spirit, then hidden in in God himself.
35:30
It makes it impossible for the enemy to touch you because the Bible says that the enemy cannot touch you without a cause. The same way a curse without a
35:38
cause cannot work. The force of darkness cannot touch you because you have come
35:43
under the fullness of the redemption of the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
35:49
True covering comes by adopting and growing and developing yourself in the
35:55
skill of righteousness.
36:02
Look at what Bible says about the wicked and Isaiah 48:22 said there's no peace for the wicked.
36:10
Another version said there's no sleep for the wicked. Another version said there's no rest for
36:15
the wicked. If you choose to live in our in our old
36:21
African palace, in our Ghanaian proverb, we say,
36:27
have you noticed? Have you noticed that you are more fearful when you're a
36:33
wicked person? Let us hear a very strange sound.
36:40
The person who is running faster among us is a wicked person.
36:45
not just fearful. They always believe something bad is going to happen because they themselves
36:51
they accustomed to bad. Just as the Bible says that praise is becoming of the righteous.
36:58
I don't say the righteous doesn't fear but the Bible say the righteous as bold as a lion. When some things look deadly,
37:04
they face it in the face of it and don't worry about it.
37:09
It's true. And wickedness isn't only evil. Wickedness is also depicted in the sense of less trusting in God and
37:16
trusting in God's way. If you choose not to trust God and trust his way, you are walking in wickedness.
37:24
Isaiah 55:7, "Let the wicked forsake his way.
37:30
and the unrighteous man his thoughts, let him return unto the Lord, and he
37:35
will have mercy upon him and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
37:43
Ladies and gentlemen, wickedness is like a bad character. You go nowhere until you change it. It's like a flat tire in
37:50
your car. Until you change it, your car will not move anywhere
37:55
without you causing permanent damage to yourself. God calls us to walk away from
38:01
wickedness and to walk away for the presumptuousness of thinking that wickedness is an alternative to life or
38:09
is the easiest way to succeed and that it is good. Proverbs 11:11 says that by the bless by
38:16
the blessings of the upright the city is exalted but it is overthrown by the
38:21
mouth of the wicked. My wife sent me a certain
38:28
photo clip and I just place it on the church group that in Japan
38:34
the road toll system, the entire computer system in that area shut off
38:40
for 38 hours, one day and
38:46
14 hours. Huh? But after these people passed through the toll boots free of charge, they went
38:53
back home online to go and pay the money to the government.
38:59
Brother, you and me in Ghana won't do that, will we? I'm sorry if anybody feels offended, but let's be realistic.
39:13
You see, uprightness isn't unique to humanity.
39:19
Even to a nation that claims it does not know God, uprightness is a very important thing that builds societies
39:26
and build homes. The Bible says when a person is upright
39:32
or righteous, it brings blessings. It bring blessings
39:37
upon the nation he dwells in. When a person upholds the values of
39:44
morality and the fear of God, it brings blessings in their home.
39:51
How many of us here in Ghana sleep without locking our rooms? If I tell you there's a place,
39:58
if I tell you there's a place in this world where people sleep without locking their main doors, you will not tell me it is true.
40:06
in this world common
40:15
but certain societies have advanced to the system whereby when they are going to sleep they don't lock their doors
40:21
certain societies have advanced in right uprightness such that when you commit a crime they don't take you to a prison
40:28
they imprison your own house and people are crying when they being sentenced to to live within their own
40:33
house and never come out of their house And it's like hell for them. You punish people like that in Ghana, everybody
40:39
will commit a crime or or in Nigeria, wherever it is in Africa, they tell you that Lydia, if you
40:47
go and steal the bank, the punishment is to stay in your house for 20 days and you are crying. You will steal the bank
40:52
and come, you yourself will steal the bank and tell the court, don't worry, I'm home. I'm waiting 20 days before I spend the money.
40:59
But certain societies have pushed themselves in uprightness such that everything they do brings blessing to
41:06
their nation. We need to be able to see the gospel in
41:12
a different light and not see it as a way of manipulation and control but to
41:17
see it as a way that God has set for men to live and to bring grace and glory and
41:23
blessing to every generation you can find. Bow down your head and let us
41:28
pray.
41:36
It is possible to be upright. I share the example of Japan with you. A
41:45
nation that doesn't serve God but serve a living king. They believe their king is everything.
41:55
I'm not saying Christianity is not there's Christianity in Japan but I'm saying that as a nation as a national religion they are not Christians
42:06
but they don't practice unrighteousness.
42:11
You see we are quick to think that unrighteousness is prostitution gambling. We are quick, we are quick to
42:16
actually point certain things as being wrong as Africans and point the things that matter to God
42:22
as if it doesn't matter.
42:28
We make a promise. We don't care if we don't keep it.
42:33
When we commit ourselves to something and say we'll be there at this time, we break that time and don't care. It
42:38
doesn't bother us to put our best foot out for God and for others.
42:44
By doing that we can't practice righteousness. When we can't practice righteousness we are not walking uprightly.
42:55
We all want to be rich as Solomon. But Solomon was upright.
43:02
Solomon was upright. We all we all want to be as blessed as David is that God will forgive him
43:09
anything. But David was upright. That's the secret. David wasn't sinless, he was
43:15
upright. Solomon wasn't sinless, he was upright. He looked up to God in every circumstance of his life.
43:23
These are men who commanded nations and wealth and people, shaped generations, shaped the way of life of societies.
43:30
They were men who made a mark in history and they were not even holier than us.
43:37
But the enemy paints the picture that you focus so much on the things that will never matter in heaven or matter
43:45
with your walk with God because he needs you to waste your time
43:51
like a dog chasing his tail. You need to just go around chasing your tail. No, you can never catch it. And so long as
43:57
you feel it is religious, you feel there's time invested in prayer and other things, your pursuit for life
44:04
fails. There's so many women looking for a husband, they need to be upright,
44:11
not prayerful and holy alone. They need to be upright. They need to show the qualities in scripture that determines
44:17
of a virtuous woman. Because the same God who created every
44:23
man, including the evil man, all of them responds to virtue.
44:29
You go and find the most evil of people, they want to go to church and marry a good woman in the church. They don't even trust their own kind.
44:39
You know, look at their mentality. You are busy thinking you can pray any man into your life. I laugh. I know
44:46
people wake up 12 midnight prayer in the morning go to work and the guy still disappoints them because they are filled
44:53
where to build the character of righteousness. So see this woman if I let this woman go I am finished. Look at
45:00
the qualities he raised my children. Look at the look at this woman. She's just different. [Music]
45:10
[Music]
45:16
[Music] fearful
45:23
[Music]
45:37
[Music]
45:43
building friendship, righteousness. shapes everything in our society.
45:49
If we tell you the truth, see the truth and walk with it. Don't be other man to the fact that that
45:56
is because if there was a solution in that
46:02
young ladies, young ladies, you are not yet married. You have never cooked food
46:09
free of charge to give to a guy to chop something. It's bad. [Music]
46:22
who said those who are married today every food they cooked was the man's
46:27
money. You don't have money but you people you
46:32
buy the latest phones buy the latest hairstyle consistently.
46:38
Ah you have money have money. You see a nice guy, you do something
46:45
that guy's life, they sit there and compare you to others. Yes.
46:51
[Music] This is what I know. You don't know. You
46:57
are not there. Me and her we in one. I know what is happen. You don't know. Shut up. This what I want to marry.
47:05
But if you make things the way you are making it, no prayer. You see, listen. God can never force a man to come and
47:11
God can never force a woman to come and marry you. Do you know why? It's a matter of choice.
47:21
[Music] We're creating all the qualities in you.
47:28
There's a reason why if you bring a certain lady for Kaiser, he will never like her.
47:34
It's not because the woman is not attractive. If you force him probably he will go out the woman and leave her and
47:39
run. But every woman, every man knows what he's looking for to marry. Trust me. Even the player.
47:50
You ask him, he tell you what he's looking for. The worst kind of those people they can even add virgin to it. Meanwhile,
47:56
they're the virgin. Meanwhile, he's making sure every other one is not virgin in the church. But
48:02
he's looking for a virgin. Hallelujah. So everybody, including an evil person, knows what he's looking for. Don't be
48:08
fooled. And already God has wired that in their heart and their spirit.
48:16
God has wired that.
48:28
This is what I say. a certain taste in his body. It responds
48:34
to a certain kind. Instead of spending the hours of prayer praying ah from morning sharing links
48:41
and prayer to the end, why don't you build the qualities
48:46
that attract everyone based on God's word. It's as simple as that.
48:55
I don't want to mention something but I just recently I saw a group of young
49:00
girls. They are busy sharing links by 12 midnight. Everybody seems to be praying.
49:07
You look at them on the face value. Some of them would take videos of themselves praying at night and even
49:13
share it on their stat to say
49:21
they are organized criminals walking around using that as a front.
49:31
Hallelujah. So be not fooled by this kind of face
49:38
you are showing. Every man, big small, knows what they're looking for.
49:46
You need to present yourself as irreplaceable in man's life.
49:52
The patience, the joy, the way you speak with wisdom, seasoned with salt,
49:59
even your ability to show care and love.
50:05
A man said one time the reason why he married his wife when he when he hugs her the way again hugging
50:22
[Music] he feels so welcomed.
50:27
Another person said the woman smells great every time she hugs her.
50:34
Why don't you vex yourself in such knowledge? Because you can't pray. You can't pray
50:42
ah for God to come and tell me at night, Kaiser, you go and marry this one. If you don't marry this one, I'll kill you. God will never do it. I'm a pastor. I'm
50:49
telling you the truth. 10 years from today, you will come and realize that you lied to your own self,
50:54
but I didn't lie to you. So build the qualities of how to sustain
51:01
relationships, but don't do it openly.
51:09
Don't set traps of accusations for yourself. Learn how to relate with people
51:20
for a minute. I want you to pray in your heart. So, Lord, set my heart on the
51:26
path of uprightness. Let my heart respond to the things of
51:32
righteousness. Create in me a hunger and a test for
51:38
righteousness. Set me on that path
51:44
where even when I make a mistake and I sin, the enemy cannot touch me. Not because I have not sinned, but
51:50
because I am in your heart and I matter so much to you.
51:57
And again and again, you will save me from my shame and my disgrace because of
52:02
the constraints of your upright love.
52:10
Hold this church, oh my God, on the part of uprightness. Let a culture of righteousness be
52:16
established in this ministry. long even when I'm gone, now and long after I'm gone, sustain this ministry in
52:24
righteousness. Let men serve and love God and fear God.
52:30
Let nothing be done to show off. Let nothing be done in wickedness, but let all things merit
52:38
your uprightness. In Jesus name we pray.
52:44
Amen. [Music] Somebody give a clap offering to Jesus.
52:52
I want you to take an offering. I want you to take an offering.
53:00
[Music]
53:18
Brother, brother, you cannot pray enough about any woman. You have to choose.
53:26
Let me ask you a question. From Genesis to Revelation,
53:31
did you see anybody pray to God that God should make them cause
53:36
somebody to love them or to choose them? [Music] No, there's nobody.
53:46
There's nobody. There's an account of Esther in scripture. Esther wasn't chosen because
53:54
God told the king to choose him. Choose her. Who knows how Esther was
54:00
chosen? Who knows? Who knows?
54:07
[Music] Modai had schooled her, taught her how
54:12
to dress, how to treat her body as a woman
54:18
[Music] before they added prayer
54:24
and the favor of God upon their lives
54:30
because marriage is a physical enterprise. Please invest in your physical
54:39
acutments necessary for marriage. Amen.
54:44
You do know that we are in a marriage man soon. So I pray that this month we'll learn
54:51
things that truly matter that will transform our lives as fathers. Pick out
54:57
your offering and pray over it. Declare over your offering.
55:05
Declare over your offering.
55:14
[Music]
55:22
Father, I speak a a female daughter in the family. Yahwa has come for him to be
55:28
a big brother, a baby. There has to be a big brother in Jesus mighty name.
55:35
Speak a beautiful baby girl. Beautiful, intelligent,
55:41
serious, determined, wise baby girl.
55:46
So much that it will challenge him to be a grownup at once
55:53
in Jesus name. Speak over your offering. Father, we
55:59
bless the sand that we go and come back as we have said, measures pressed down,
56:04
shaken together and running over in Jesus' name. Amen.
56:10
Should I invite Antia to take our offering from us
56:24
the Lord reigns. We give glory to the Lord. He reigns.
56:32
He reigns. He reigns. He reigns. We give glory to the Lord. He reigns.
56:42
We give glory to the Lord. He reigns. We give glory to the Lord. He reigns.
56:52
He reigns. He reigns. He reigns. We give glory to the Lord. He reigns. He
57:01
reigns. He reigns. He reigns. He reigns.
57:06
We give glory to the Lord. He reigns. We give glory to the Lord. He reigns.
57:16
We give glory to the Lord. He reigns.
57:22
He reigns. He reigns. He reigns. We give glory to the Lord.
57:29

57:36
Heat.
57:46
Oh sh [Music]
58:08
He He raising rain.
58:15
We give glory to the Lord. He raising.
58:24
We give glory to the Lord.
58:30
Shall we be on our feet as we share the grace? May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
58:37
the love of God, and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forever more. Amen.
58:46
The Lord bless you and keep you.
58:53
Make his face shine upon you and be
58:59
gracious to you. The Lord turn his
59:06
face towards you and give
59:14
you peace.
59:20
The Lord bless you and keep you.
59:29
Make his face shine.
1:00:06
May the Lord bless us and keep us. May the great I am cause his face to
1:00:12
shine upon us. May he be our pill of cloud by name and
1:00:17
our pill of fire by night. May the Lord be our sun and shield
1:00:24
as we walk uprightly. May he keep all good thing away from us.
1:00:29
May he satisfy us with abundance. May he lay a table before us in the presence of
1:00:35
our enemies. May the Almighty turn
1:00:42
every plan, ploy and work of the enemy
1:00:48
around. May he destroy the traps and the works of darkness against our lives. By his
1:00:55
mighty right hand, righteous hand, may he establish and build us financially.
1:01:02
May we walk in abundance, extreme goodness and wealth in the name
1:01:07
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
1:01:13
Amen. And amen.
