[Music] Hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah.
0:05
God bless you, deacon. Please be seated. Amen. You ready for God's word?
0:12
Amen. Amen. With permission from the technical director, can I continue? Is everything
0:18
in place? I can continue.
0:27
[Music]
0:36
Yeah. Oh, [Music]
0:47
[Applause] [Music] hallelujah.
0:55
Oh, [Music]
1:03
I [Music]
1:11
one hands up. Father, we agree that you will bless us this morning. We agree
1:17
that no one comes into your presence and leave the same as you strategically arrange this day
1:23
for a purpose. Let the fullness because of the blood blood of Jesus. Let the fullness of the power of your strength,
1:30
the grace of your spirit, the power of your blood, the authority of your word
1:35
in our life be established as we hear this word of God preached. Let everything that concern our destiny be
1:42
fulfilled. Let everything you have programmed, destined, and arranged for us be received. Let oh Lord the wonders
1:50
of your word meet us at every point of our need. Be it financial, physical,
1:56
spiritual and emotional. May the word of God meet every situation and need of our
2:03
hearts in Jesus name. Amen. Is somebody ready for God's word? Amen.
2:11
Hallelujah. Please, you are not.
2:17
Thank you. Are you ready for God's word? What is wrong?
2:23
No, it shouldn't be. So, it's working. All right. This morning, I want to speak
2:29
on the role of money in God's word. Tell someone the role of money in God's word.
2:36
Hallelujah. So, when we talk about money, money is money. Tell somebody money is money.
2:43
Money is a medium of exchange that is able to hold an acceptable store of value over time. Anything that can be
2:51
exchanged for value and anything that holds a specific value
2:57
is considered money. What makes gold, which is God's created
3:02
money, and silver valuable is because it carries value. We are willing to
3:09
exchange a certain level of value for it. Money was primarily created to
3:15
facilitate trade. Tell somebody facilitate. That means that money was created so we
3:21
could trade. Very important. We could trade if efficiently and effectively. So
3:27
money is the primary facilitator for trade. The reason why the farmer is
3:33
selling his things is because he wants to exchange for money. The value of that money he will use to buy things which he
3:40
needs for his life. Okay? Or things he needs for his home or for his children
3:45
or his farm. So we keep exchanging money for value. So money is not blood. Tell
3:52
money is not blood. Money is not medicine.
3:57
If you follow social media, they'll tell you several things. They tell you money is called monetamol because it cures all
4:04
problems. They'll tell you money is blood because when you don't have money you will die because that's the blood of
4:10
life. All those things are myths. Tell somebody they are myths.
4:26
Uh so the money you have, can you take it into the spirit?
4:31
So money is not spiritual. Eh the money you have when you go to the hospital,
4:36
the doctor tells you don't have blood. Can you can you put the money through the IV canula and let it go into your
4:43
your bloodstream? No. But the money can pay for the services of the medical clinic, can't it? So money is also not
4:50
medicine. You can be rich and still sick. If money was medicine, the richest will never be sick. Huh? So money is not
4:56
medicine. So these are myths we tell ourselves. We encourage ourselves with it. But they are not truly the
5:01
definition of money. Money is a medium of exchange. That's is a medium of exchange.
5:07
That is able to hold acceptable store value over time. So the book of
5:13
Ecclesiastes 10:19 says, "A feast is made for laughter
5:18
and wine for merrymaking." So he's beginning to explain to us what each one stands for. He says when we create a
5:25
feast, we want to be able to have happiness or laughter. Ah when we drink
5:30
wine, we want to be able to have you know merry making or joy. Ah that's why
5:36
we drink. It says money answerth all things. Uh notice the things being
5:43
physical things. Says money answerth all things. Things answer. What does money
5:49
answer for? When you want to buy the wine to drink, you use money. Huh? When
5:55
you want to organize the festival, the announcements, the flyers, you use money to pay for it. Huh?
6:02
When you want to travel and you want to buy a plane ticket or a bus ticket or you want to buy a bicycle to ride,
6:08
whatever you want to do to get your destination, it will take money. Uh, so the wisest man who lives says, "Money
6:14
will answer all these." Hallelujah. So money is a medium of exchange. Money
6:19
itself doesn't make you happy, but money can buy a moment of happiness for you. Hallelujah. It can buy something that
6:26
makes you happy for a short while. H it's like when you go to the cinema, watch the most uh the latest action
6:32
movie at a very expensive price. You are happy, but when you come home, you don't remain happy forever, do you? The moment
6:38
you at the cinema, you were so happy. Your money could give you that entertainment and joy. The minute you
6:43
leave that presence, that joy is gone. So happiness is a momentary feeling that
6:49
allows you to feel elated or satisfied at a given time. But happiness is never
6:56
eternal in our hearts. And so money cannot exchange for eternal things. It
7:02
can only exchange for physical things. So it's a medium of exchange for all
7:08
things. uh Deuteronomy 2:28, "Thou shalt sell me uh meat for money that I may eat
7:16
and give me water for money that I may drink only I will pass through on my
7:22
feet." Now, uh the Bible speaks of um money a lot
7:28
and money wasn't just the construct of man's mind. Money has always been a
7:34
medium of exchange from the days of Mesopotamia, the days of Abraham.
7:40
Money was an important means of trade. People did batter trade. People use
7:46
calories for money. What today people throw on the field and say used to be
7:51
money. If you carried it, it was it was something. You know the silverware you have in your house, the spoons you are
7:57
eating with some years ago people went to war to own it. Huh? So that was
8:03
money. Silver was money. Huh? Even bronze is money. Even every kind of metal the the iron rods you don't like
8:09
on your on your house, the ones you throw away, they con people come and pick it because it's money. Huh? Is it not money? To them is money. So money is
8:17
a physical medium. It is never a spiritual medium. Always remember this. So money has always been in existence
8:22
for a very long time. And because money has been existence for a very long time, it has been able to provide a sense of
8:31
facilitation or a sense of understanding cooperation among men to be able to use
8:36
it to facilitate the things we need temporarily. Amen.
8:42
And so in the book of Deuteronomy 2 the verse 8 we we saw something that uh uh
8:48
the bible recounts of the use of money that someone will sell him meat for money and water for money. So as far
8:56
back as the days of Egypt uh humanity still had money. Remember the Bible
9:03
speaks of the time where there was the greatest famine on earth and people went and gave their money for survival. said,
9:10
"Money has no use to us anymore." Jesus said, "Give me your gold. Give me everything you have that is money. That represents money to you, and I'll
9:16
provide food for you to exist." Amen. Deuteronomy 14:25 says, "Then shalt thou
9:22
turn it into money." He was speaking of when you are going to give your tithe, and the distance between where and the
9:28
house of God is or where God wants you to go is far. You can't carry your tithe, whether it's food, animals, when
9:34
your tithe is farm produce, and it's hard. Turn it into money. bind it up and then send it to where God has asked you
9:41
to send it. And so I know that many people make argument.
9:46
People talk a lot of gibberish they don't understand in scripture but it is normal. This is how society is. I mean
9:52
uh the more they talk the more it allows us to dig deep to find these answers. So
9:57
so long as we could remember even before the first temple uh anytime anybody had to go and pay tight or to give anything
10:05
of that sort and the distance was far people could convert it to money if there was no need for money and they are
10:11
close to the house of God whatever they have the convenience of bringing it remember whether they bring money or
10:16
they bring food staffs or whatever it is is suppose that God's house is provided for and there's no need are you
10:22
understanding me there's no need because in those days if they needed oil and they had corn and as a church of God
10:30
they had plenty corn in storage but they needed oil for God's work. They could go and sell the corn and buy or exchange it
10:35
for oil. So the idea was to provide for God's house sufficiently so that there's
10:40
nothing missing in providence for God's work. Amen. So uh these are some of the
10:47
things you must understand but money has been there in our system for old. It has been in the church for long too.
10:56
Hallelujah. I've already explained money is not eternal or spiritual. Money is not
11:02
eternal or spiritual. However, there's gold in heaven. Hallelujah. Bible speak
11:08
of the streets of heaven paved with gold. This is why no thief will go to heaven. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Because
11:16
they will do what I say in heaven. They will create potholes on all the streets. They will mine it and tell the angels,
11:21
you just bring us to earth. Heaven people don't need this money. earth we need this money we will still come and chop it and the most important things
11:27
the Bible says God will destroy the earth and so there will be no need of bringing money also God has planned
11:33
everything out hallelujah so money is not eternal money is not spiritual in Genesis 47 verse 15 the Bible says and
11:41
when money failed in the land of Egypt in the land of Canaan all Egyptians came
11:47
unto Joseph and said give us bread for why should we die in thy presence for
11:53
money faileth. It comes to a time when money cannot buy everything you're looking for in life. And so every
11:59
economy crashes. Every economy you know in the world has crashed before. Maybe you don't know but people like those in
12:04
finance like Elder, they'll tell you money always fails one point in time. You know you hear about recessions. He
12:11
said the last time was I didn't even know that America has gone through recession over four or five times. I never even knew. All we thought is that
12:17
nation's a superpower. They are financially big than everybody. Then I realized they actually engineered it. So
12:22
they had to force countries to intentionally decredit their own money or this. So money isn't a supernatural
12:30
ability. Money becomes what we we decide it should become. Are you understanding what I'm trying to say? And so uh money
12:38
failth. It is not an eternal spirit. It is not a spiritual effective power or
12:44
something. So money failth of money failth. So money fails and periodically money
12:51
needs to or economists or those who keep money like banks they need to borrow kingdom principles to reinstate the
12:58
money's value. For example, if you owe too much and you cannot pay the bank either has to forgive your debt or sell
13:04
off an asset to pay. These are kingdom principles. They are these are not banking principles. Uh if the bank
13:11
realize you can't pay, they supposed to forgive your debt. The same kingdom principle God says that if you owe somebody or somebody you owes you money
13:17
person can't pay forgive it. Uh but when you forgive death the debt
13:23
doesn't die wealth is still created because an opportunity to make that wealth is created again. classical example.
13:31
Now why banks give you loan is that they give you people's money that they are
13:37
holding in store for the person so that by the time the person comes and the
13:42
person's ready to take that money they have made twice more or sometimes even 100% of that money back or 500%
13:49
depending on which bank. So when a person comes a person let's say a person gives the bank of the bank
13:55
of um the bank of uh Kokum the bank of
14:02
Kokum 10 cities the person is coming back for that 10 cities in five years the bank of Kokum goes to Lydia and
14:10
gives aunt Lydia a loan of 550 or of what five cities but in the repayment
14:17
antily owes the bank of Kokum for that five years. How many
14:24
he owes them? How much? 35 cities. Five years.
14:34
Are we understanding it? But the bank still owes uh whoever gave them the 10
14:40
cities. 10 cities. But with that same money, they gave you five CDs. They worked uh amotization and what uh what
14:48
what else people call it? Compounded interest. Ammo. They work all that into
14:53
it and then please open. Uh they work all that into it and by the time they
14:59
realize Madame Lydia is owing this bank 35 CDs in 5 years. This bank only owes
15:05
the man who gave them 10 cities 10 cities. Nothing more, nothing less. Huh? So they are waiting to pay. If you
15:14
happen to finish paying in this money in five years, they have made over 3,000%
15:21
of their money. Huh? But they're going to pay the person only 10%.
15:27
So at some point in time, they give another five cities to another person, makes another 3,500 cities out of that.
15:36
So out of that 10 cities, the bank has created money alone over 1,000% of that
15:42
money back again. So let's say the same principle if the bank went to take somebody's money as a
15:48
loan, the interest they will give them, they will always make 100% or 500% of
15:54
that same interest that person's expecting from them back.
15:59
But if for some reason you can't pay, you pay up to 200 and you can't pay. And for some reason you can't pay the rest,
16:05
they have not lost money. But when they forgive the debt, they want a principle established. They do not want you to
16:10
think you can borrow and run away free. Huh? So they'll take money for it. But
16:16
when they forgive debt, what happens is that they give you the chance to be able to go and borrow again so you can create
16:22
wealth. Because whenever you don't borrow, you don't create wealth. Again,
16:28
let me start again. This is where it's tricky. If you don't borrow money to work, you
16:35
don't create wealth for the banks, you don't create wealth for your your nation. I'm not saying everybody should go and borrow. This is what I'm saying.
16:41
And I'm I'm coming to a point. I'm coming to a very important point. If everybody kept their own money and
16:47
chopped their own money, the banks will collapse. They won't have nothing to have. Okay? So, banks live on the fact that
16:55
you borrow money. When you borrow money, you create wealth by investing that
17:01
money. You create assets that become liable to the loan and give them more
17:08
what funding or security for them to widen their financial net.
17:15
Are you with me? But when you're doing all this, the
17:20
government is also making money from you because now you have the power to spend. The loan gave you power to spend. So
17:26
though the government hasn't taken tax on the loan, whatever you're going to pay, you buy with tax. Every asset you
17:33
buy, you buy with tax. Every every machine you buy for your factory, you buy every raw material, you pay tax on
17:39
it. So the mere fact that you were capacitated by this bank in a loan structure only forced you to spend more
17:46
money which you didn't have at that time and your government made money on it also and the nation made money. So
17:52
borrowing money creates wealth in that society. When you expand your business, you have to employ others in that area
17:58
to give them a job. Are you understanding what I'm trying to say? So whenever we borrow money, we create wealth. Period. I mean it doesn't matter
18:05
how bad the whole idea about borrowing is. Whenever you create money, you you borrow money, you create more money. Are
18:11
you with me? This is how money works. Let's understand that principle because I'm building upon something. Amen.
18:18
So um they borrow Kingdom principles to reinstate value
18:24
and strength in money. Huh?
18:30
Are you with me? So economies do that. You hear that they
18:36
will say, "Oh, businesses are failing and the government comes and the government gives every business that is failing a certain capacity loan or grant
18:42
to start a fresh again." Huh? So we borrow Bible knowledge that we
18:48
know to reinstate power, strength and value back into money. Now let's move forward one step extra which will help
18:56
you better. We as human beings have been called by God as kingdom members to
19:04
generate wealth and finance his work on earth. Look at me curly. You see the Ghana
19:12
government is happy whenever you borrow money. Huh? So they try to create, you see, they just they just they just don't
19:18
want to borrow money people consume. They want to people can create wealth because the more you borrow that money to do something good, the more you
19:25
create a trail of money all the time. Uh so we have things like credit scoring,
19:31
things that afford you more cheaper loans. They just trying to force you to do something with the money, not just
19:36
borrow and sit there. It's not the borrowing that is interesting, but what you do with the borrowing. Are you with
19:42
me, church? So they create capacity for you all the time. Capacity for you all the time. So
19:49
whenever you become a citizen of Ghana and you are given a a tax identification number, you are the nation's throttle.
19:58
Let me recite. You are the nation's boat which I will remember. You're the nation's Uber. You are the nation's
20:04
taxi. Do you understand trying to say? When
20:10
God spilled his blood for you, one of the things he had hoped for was that you will serve him. One of the ways to serve
20:15
God is to finance his work on the face of this earth to the day you die.
20:21
This is difficult to hear, but you must hear this. Money is required to do God's will and work on this earth. Every child
20:29
of God has a lifelong mission. Doesn't stop today till the day you die to finance God's will and work till death.
20:36
In fact, King David was so wise that even in the grave, he was still financing God's work.
20:41
He wanted to help God's work while he was alive. He was doing it, doing it. Then they said, "Now, I want to I want to build a great temple." God said, "No,
20:47
no, no. Your hands are full of blood, but your son will build." They said, "No problem. If my son will build, he will not use his penny. Everything you used
20:54
to build, I will pay for it in advance. Even when I'm dead and gone." David knew that until he has gone to the grave, Solomon cannot build. Remember that
21:01
Solomon was made king before David died. Always remember this. When David was an old man, David handed over power to
21:07
Solomon. But it took time before Solomon uh David died and Solomon came to
21:12
fulfill his father's wishes. But David had put there so much money, so much
21:18
provision for the work of God that even in the grave, the guy was still financing God's work. And this is
21:24
somebody God called his friend. You know, very few people in scripture God are called have called him friends.
21:31
Abraham, God has called him his friend. David, God has called him his friend. God has called him a man after his own
21:37
heart. These are not common men. These are men who had given attitudes till death.
21:43
Last week we looked at some of them. We saw how Abraham would foolishly almost sacrifice his own son to the extent of
21:49
losing his marriage, losing his trust with his own wife in his bid to do
21:55
whatever God had instructed him to do in the face of this earth. So we have a lifelong mission to finance
22:02
God's work till death. This is the very substance of our work of righteousness.
22:12
All the it is the substance of our works as righteous people. Proverbs 3:9 says,
22:18
"Honor the Lord with thy substance, with thy money, with thy wealth, and with the first fruits of all thy increase." Not
22:25
some. He said in every place in every opportunity you will see grace or
22:30
increase in your life use that money or some of that money or the first
22:36
the first fruit you make out of that money give it to God's God's work.
22:42
So when we talk about first fruit, let's say you went to do a a job or something, you made money out of it. The first
22:47
money that comes out of it, you are portion it to God. You you give it to God. Just like when when Abel gave the
22:53
first link of his sheep to God, you do that for God. And the Bible says in Proverbs that we should honor God. If
22:59
there's a God in life, what shows him the respect is that our wealth serves his purpose. Our wealth does what?
23:05
Serves. Say it with me. Our wealth serves God's purpose.
23:11
And then every every increase we receive, we make sure that God's kingdom
23:16
has some. So shall the bands so shall the bands be filled with plenty and thy
23:21
presses shall best out with new wine. Now now Solomon said this. Solomon said, "If you do this, then shall you walk
23:28
into abundance." That's somebody abundance. There is money that is never enough for you. Who have seen that before? You have
23:34
money but it's never enough for you. You are still in that place. If you are still in that place, then
23:40
there's only one way to cross out of that place. And Solomon showed us the wisest man, in fact, the man who has
23:46
been richer than anybody ever till date is telling us how he got there. He said he made sure that his substance served
23:52
God. He made sure that the first fruit of his increase sponsored God's work. Is
23:58
it not there? I'm lying. Let's read it again. Honor the Lord thy God with thy substance and with the first fruit of
24:04
all, not some, all thy increase. I've told in English whenever you see these two inverted commas they explaining what
24:10
is coming he's going to explain the first one so said so shall say for this reason shall you for for this is the
24:16
reason that your house your bands talk about your bands he's talking about your bank accounts talking about your storehouse he's talking about where your
24:22
abundance is where you keep all your glory and all your strength he said your bands will be filled with plenty not
24:28
some plenty abundance and your presses that is what brings you um your work
24:34
whatever brings you wealth and glory He says, "It shall burst out with new wine and new strength."
24:41
So Solomon showed us a key. He said, "The key to having lasting wealth, the key to having wealth that is sufficient
24:47
enough for everything we do in this world is to make sure that our finances
24:53
support God's work." Is that is that understood? Can I move on to the next one?
24:59
Can I move on to the next one? Thank you. Ecclesiastes 11:4-6
25:04
also mess this down and says, "He that observeth the wind shall not sow.
25:10
He that regardeth the clouds shall not reap, as thou knowest not what is in the way of the spirit, nor the bones to grow
25:18
in the womb of hair that is with child." And he's explaining, "Even so thou
25:23
knowest not the works of God. Who maketh all of these?
25:28
In the morning so thy seed, in the evening with not thy hand? For thou
25:33
knowest whether shall prosper either this or that nor whether they both shall come together and bring you abundance.
25:40
Let me read this again and I pray thou the Holy Spirit will help you more. He says he that observes the wind. Now the
25:45
wind is talking about troubles. He who pays particular attention to his troubles, he who pays particular attention to his financial problems will
25:53
never sow. Do you know that? This is simple English. Forget about the Shakespearean English. This is very
25:59
simple English. If you know you owe your house rent, if you know you owe people and you have money in your pocket, will
26:05
you give it in church? Let's be realistic human beings. Every
26:10
human being whose brain works will go and solve the problems first before he comes. So the Bible says whosoever is
26:16
paying attention to the wind will never sow. And because they never sowed, they
26:21
can never also reap. Are you with me? The widow, the widow who had only two
26:29
might have said,
26:40
but she did give all she had and there was a difference than those that gave
26:45
gold. So Jesus explains that all of you are given out of your abundance, but this woman has given all she ever had in
26:51
the face of this earth. So he that regards the wind, he that
26:56
gives excuses a reason will miss out on the work of God helping it.
27:04
Are you with me? And some of the wind may not always be your financial trouble. Sometimes you may not even like
27:09
the pastor preaching. You may have some some grudge against him. You may have a
27:14
past experience. You may have one way or the other why you don't like that person.
27:20
Okay? Some of you may not even like the fact that in a house or is in somebody's living room. You may have all kinds of
27:26
reasons. You can give reason to everything for which you cannot be part of it today.
27:33
Do do you do you did you hear that Ghana has qualified for the World Cup? How would those who never chose to play with
27:39
that team feel like now when they heard that the coach said it's going to be very difficult for them to call certain
27:45
people because when they went to say come and let us help us qualify, they said no.
27:50
Huh? Put yourself in that scenario when God needs you to be the source of his
27:57
financing on the face of this earth and you give excuse because you need an iPhone. You need better business
28:03
investment. You need this, you need that. The Bible says that you miss out on the reason why God should give you
28:09
abundance in the next stage. So Solomon taught us if you want to move away from
28:14
a place of never enough, one must learn how to trust God with what you have today. Are you with me? Am I teaching
28:23
Bible to somebody? Say he that regards the cloud.
28:28
You see, even among Christians, there are certain people they sow they sow to certain men of God and and they refuse
28:33
to sow to settlement of God because they are regarding clouds.
28:42
This I'm preaching like this. They don't think there's any power. You know, they want you to scare them
28:48
and and then say things and 250 million people. You see, they want you to say
28:54
the things before they know for sure they have to give. Huh? But Bible says you you must give, you must give in
28:59
simplicity. The law about giving to God is that you must done it out of obedience. Nothing else. Nothing should
29:05
I do to impress you to do it. But you must give out of the fact that you love God and you cannot wait to help his work
29:12
prosper. Am I making sense to somebody? And thou knowest not what is in the way
29:17
of the spirit, nor the bones do grow in the womb. He says, because you do not
29:22
know what is the plan of God, do not turn down the opportunity to be a
29:29
blessing to God's work. Whether it is morning, a good time for you, or evening, which is a bad time for you,
29:35
let every opportunity be answered for in the house of God. Listen, he's not
29:42
referring to any house of God. Said the house of God. So as a Christian, you must be specific. A farmer has seeds,
29:49
but no farmer goes to sew in the sea. Do you know that? But they sow on the soil. And the soil
29:56
that they know that it is fertile. Number two, the soil that they know they owe. If you go and sew on somebody's
30:02
land and you come and say remove your seed, what will you do? So before you give to ministries and
30:08
missions, yes, you must have a deep connection from God in your heart concerning that ministry. That is
30:15
important. Amen. So he teaches us this.
30:20
This is why and how the enemy keeps us from doing what is required of our money
30:26
by God on this earth. And so the enemy has been busy all throughout your life
30:31
trying to make sure that either you will not give or you give insufficiently for
30:36
God's work or you have an excuse to exempt yourself from God's work all your life or not today. In fact, there are
30:44
sometimes that the devil even make sure you sew in the wrong places cuz some of you just go and s all of a sudden
30:49
everything crash around you. You s all of a sudden and then you are crying asking God why and and that same person
30:54
who knows that he's not the house of God. is not the field of God and for which your seed is creating that trouble
31:00
for you. We s and tell you is the devil working against you. Just keep on praying.
31:06
Hello. So the devil's busy at work trying to intercept your righteous works, trying
31:13
to intercept your testament before God, trying to intercept your your your
31:19
memorials before God so that he can control the troubles of your life. Let
31:24
me try and explain this. Because seed is the power to overcome
31:30
the gates of your enemies. Your seed shall what? Possess the gates of your enemies. Your seed has power to silence
31:38
certain powers in your life. It has reasons for which God should break certain protocols and to lift you above
31:45
everyone else in the family for a reason because you are trustworthy and dependable. So the enemy must find a way
31:52
to intercept and be able to stop you from doing what is required spiritually
31:58
of you for a reason. Why? So that he can have the access to
32:03
touch your finances all the time and have a reason to tell you why God does not exist. So you should not serve him.
32:09
So Christians must not joke with their giving life. It is a spiritual exercise to God.
32:16
We sow out of faith. We we are sure we are certain. We have prayed over it. We've declared it. We've we know it's a
32:23
spiritual exercise that will speak for us today and tomorrow. Even people of the world don't do that. People of the
32:28
world, they just don't give for giving sake. The Bible said of the centurion who God sent Peter to his house. The angel that
32:35
appeared to him said, "For your giving and prayer has appeared before God for a
32:41
memorial." Hey, so when you give, God sees. So every giving and every prayer just as
32:48
prayer is precious to God and he sends his angels to collect them as sweet incense unto him so do our giving life
32:55
become important and structural for a reason why God should do something because he became the first ever gentile
33:03
for which reason God deployed after God's own word has said no Jew
33:08
should go to a gentile's house and even eat or talk with them God forced Peter to go to that house preach the word of
33:14
God and release his holy spirit upon who? A man called Cornelius and his whole house who were Gentiles.
33:24
So giving is a spiritual exercise not a joke for those who come around you as pastor prophets thinking that this job
33:31
is for Jimmy and so if they also come and they command you give that money they have also gotten the money and God will bless you. No it's not everywhere
33:37
you sow God will bless you. It's not everywhere you sow that will appear before God for a memorial. Some places you s become intercepted by darkness so
33:45
that your life will hurt and after they have hurt you then they'll turn around and tell you why why you love God and
33:52
help God and still suffer. When I became born again and I began God's work I
33:58
noticed a lot of this. I saw a lot of people that hurt me. Ah is God a liar? But the
34:06
man will say he's not a liar. mother, he would say something and why are these people giving their life and their time
34:12
to God, giving everything to God and they are failing? Then I began to ask the right questions and God began to
34:18
teach me these revelations I'm teaching you this morning. Says nobody gives to God and God repays
34:25
them for evil. It's a lie. It's a lie. It's a lie. Nobody does that.
34:31
If Cornelius who was not even a Christian, he wasn't even a Christian chose to give and give and never stop
34:37
giving until God noticed it, then your giving matters to God. It's
34:43
not a a simple thing. So you should not use your giving as a physical thing or or work with it in a physical context
34:51
because it happens to be an extension of your godliness.
34:57
Proverbs 3:27:28, "We withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it's in the power of thy
35:03
hand to do it. Say no to thy neighbor, go and come again tomorrow, and I'll
35:10
give you when it is within thee to do it." He talks about not missing out the opportunity to do good. Not missing out
35:18
the opportunity to do good. I I happen to have seen this before.
35:26
Um we went to speak with a certain man and we needed support for something and
35:32
then when we went there the man had already decided he wanted to meet me that day. He had not planned to meet any
35:38
other person but when I got there was another person there and the way the person went about doing things and
35:45
claiming so the way the person did and the way he
35:50
was able to speak
35:58
I just sat down and look at the man. I I said, "Wow, there are people in this job."
36:05
And there are people who present you a case if you're not careful, you'll be sold out to do the impossible
36:13
with them. You would you would even sell your house and your home to do it. When we came into ministry, there was a
36:20
lady who came to us and he claimed that he has been cursed by a pastor. I won't mention the church's name. So the church
36:26
came and they said, "God said you should help us." And the woman said, "No, God hasn't told." He said, "God said he said
36:31
you should help us." Said, "Okay." So the woman sat down and then brought 2,000 CDs to give to the pastor and the pastor cares there.
36:38
Said, "How dare you that you will give 2,000 to a servant of God?"
36:44
The woman looked at said I was think you can give me two million CDs and over two
36:50
billion over for God's work. Then they threat if they don't give she would die. Her children will die. She's
36:55
still alive. I pray for sister go home don't mind them. He said pastor are you sure this particular church mentioned the name. Mention the pastor in
37:01
Nigeria's name. Mr. Sister you will live. You not die. This thing this thing is not from God.
37:07
Forget about it. He says they even mention somebody have done the same to the person. I said don't mind them. Go home. She's still alive.
37:14
Because there are people who have been they have been and they are using all manner of powers and authorities satanic
37:22
to make sure that Christians will lose the opportunity to do their righteous works in giving.
37:31
So before you give, seek your father's face in heaven. Let his spirit lead you
37:37
in what to do. Amen. Next slide, please.
37:42
Are you with me now? God's work needs money. Are you sure that's the next one?
37:49
Please. So God's work needs money. H God's work needs money.
37:56
So in why why does God's work need money? Why? After all, we just come
38:01
teach the word and we go. Can't we just study it and come and teach and go? So God's work needs money. Before we become
38:08
a church, uh we would need to do what we call registration. H you have to go to
38:14
the government, give the reason why you want to start. The government will take their money. They will tell you what's the value of your church. They will take
38:20
a certain fraction of that money about 25% of it and stuff like that. Then you have to go and register at KMA, go and
38:25
register here. It is not a it's not a smooth journey like yes, you can just get up and call yourself whatever it is.
38:31
But the reason why nobody can use our name as a church. They can only coin the name around. Somebody went somewhere and
38:37
said they said Assemblies of God favor Chapel some years ago people were just copying
38:43
the name you know when they realized I heard some guy be has copied our name around those area I just I said leave
38:49
him be if it's of God it will stand they said go and stop I said I won't stop him leave him be if it's of God it will so
38:55
there are people like that they are just there to muddy the waters of the work of God we are doing that's what their purpose they think
39:05
they don't believe there Is God monitoring this? So I just ignored him. They say when somebody
39:12
stands the ring and calls you to a fight and you don't throw a punch, the person will get tired eventually and go. Is it not it? Yeah. So that's and and these
39:18
people they able to convince people elder they able to convince people to even sell their property and give to them home.
39:25
We were seeking a property in Kumasi to move our church to. I knew the man. We
39:30
went there. We spoke. The man said come back the following week. The following week when I came the man looked as if we
39:35
were fighting. I said what's your problem?
39:42
So the long and short is after two years of being the place the person
39:50
and they are still in court today worship. He had a carpentry factory
39:55
he had a carpentry factory just around labor there about I mentioned exact place but those who are close to me they
40:00
will know. We went there, we asked.
40:08
So we spoke about it, we discussed. I thought we had finalized this thing.
40:14
Then by the time we got back there the following week,
40:20
this is what I'm telling you. This what I'm teaching you people today. So when we got there, the man was like, "Don't
40:25
come here." I said, "Why?" I said,
40:34
as I speak the two of them are at war at court fighting two of them are fighting God cannot speak good and to turn out
40:40
into evil so these things they are there in society there will be always people who are using all manner of things
40:46
manipulations of the me mental spiritual and the rest walking around with this work thinking that even if they force
40:52
men's will to do the opposite of what God is saying because they have done it in the name of God they'll be blessed
40:58
this not how this thing works. Are you with me? So you need space. You probably
41:03
rent the space. You need the space development or building of a property. You are not done. You need stat
41:08
statutory payments. Regular statutory payments and fees. Renovations. Anything we put here after a while it breaks
41:14
down. It looks bad. We have to renovate. Have you not noticed this thing needs renovation? This thing it sounds a bit
41:19
funny, doesn't it? Yeah. When we having it sounds a bit funny. It's not like that at first. It either we buy new or
41:25
repair. And you know Ghana the truth is difficult. But you take it to a repair five times, four times, still collecting money. Same problem. So sometimes it's
41:31
good to just buy a new buying new thing is not cheap. Equipments, audio and visual. This
41:37
gospel I'm preaching by virtue of technology as I speak 280 countries of
41:43
the world can hear me today. 280 countries can watch us live today.
41:49
The sermons we are creating they are we are immortalizing them so that 10 20
41:54
years from even 50 100 years when I'm not even alive people can watch it those before us didn't have that privilege
42:00
today we have that privilege h the sermons you taught um John Wesley spoke
42:06
you never watch them you never heard them somebody quote samples and put in their sermon then you hear is not it but
42:14
we have a generation that God is preparing us to prepare who will know God's word for for truth
42:20
and when we are busy doing this the devil has also sent his people to also teach nonsense like that and put it there muddy the waters they also
42:27
immortalizing there so we are in a competition to put out truth there
42:32
are you with me vehicles vehicles to do God's work vehicles to go
42:39
and come to do things the maintenance of these vehicles storage do you know some of the sermons we are
42:46
putting out there sometimes we have to create our own backup plan because some sometimes the devil can take charge of one of the social media lines and say
42:52
now you have to pay money for rental or not we will it's they all satanic troubles hallelujah sometimes let me
42:59
show you something you are there now and then some call to contact you and they will tell you if you don't join ush
43:07
if you don't join us this and this will happen to you but if you join us we'll take away all your problems the minute you say you won't join them then you
43:14
start seeing all these funny things social media people telling you oh there's something wrong with content. They started as if it's a joke, as it is
43:21
a joke. What was okay for them a long time ago, then all of a sudden everybody has an excuse for something you have
43:27
said. And so even as a church, even when we are taking advantage of these things, we
43:32
still also have to realize that we have to create our own backup and storage for these things. Publications, start with
43:38
publications. She wants you to put it off. Just put it off for her.
43:44
So, uh, publications, uh, recreation. Sometimes as a church, we need to come
43:49
together to have fun and everything. Child and youth care developments, labor
43:55
and human resource capacity building, evangelism and and ministry of helps. That means going out there to help
44:00
people who are in need in society. Sometimes you have to go out there and cook free food for people on the streets. It's part of our work. Oh, you
44:07
have to organize soup kitchen. can decide someday go and stay in the doom and make free lunch available for
44:12
everybody who can't eat come and eat free without
44:19
wasn't it that is how you start by building their trust so that the word of God you would teach they can accept are
44:26
you understanding what I'm trying to say providing for men and women of ministry asset management whatever you have as
44:33
asset managing it providing and maintaining God's gift for you know your pastor is God's gift. You must maintain
44:39
him. You must maintain your pastor. You must give him good shoe to wear. You must
44:44
give him good dress to wear. He's the vehicle in which God wants to pour the oil and the wisdom for the work
44:51
in this lifetime. He will finish and then go and weed. He will finish and go and carry motor concrete.
45:00
The the heart is willing but the body is weak. Hallelujah.
45:05
And so you need to maintain your servant of God. um you need to c do corporate social
45:11
responsibilities I remember five six years now we've been
45:18
financing baram for a while and most people didn't agree with me at that time still I'm sure people still don't agree
45:23
with me when I got to a point I realized that the church doesn't agree I'll find my own money and then pay for it for the
45:28
church in the name of the church said why I said because we are supposed to do something as a social responsibility for
45:36
the society what we do it offers thousands of people who are not even in the church to access the wisdom and the
45:42
knowledge of doing business outside juju and other things. Hallelujah. Amen.
45:48
Systems upgrade once in a while as we do these things we need to upgrade. A time will come you need to upgrade from this
45:53
level to a different level. Uh are you understanding I'm trying to say all these things cause a demand. Please all
46:00
these things cause a demand for finances. Amen. All these things cause a
46:05
demand for finances. So in the wisdom of God, God creates these types of f funding for the church to thrive. So the
46:12
church can maintain itself like your tithes, your offerings, your first fruits, your covenant seeds.
46:20
This church, who knows when we take covenant seeds? Who knows when we take covenant seeds?
46:31
31st night. 31st night to take covenant seats. Thanksgiving
46:40
offerings, your pledges
46:47
pledges something every
46:54
sew in tears and reap in joy. Hallelujah. So we have pledges, we have project offerings, we have evangelism,
47:00
we have partnerships of all kinds in the church. So these are things that help finance God's work. Remember
47:07
that they are designed to prop propel and sustain God's work and God's will on the face of this earth. We want to be
47:13
able to sustain God's will in the daily life of men. We want to be able to establish God's work on this earth,
47:20
teaching his word, teaching his principle, making the world what it is. Because of how critical money is in
47:27
doing God's work, it can it can only easily it can only easily become a
47:32
snare. It can easily it can also easily become a snare taking when it's taking
47:39
center stage and replacing God. You see how money is important do all those if you're not careful you focus on only the
47:46
money h than the work
47:51
and remember not every man of God today who has fallen from grace started as a
47:56
bad person. You can start with a good heart. You can start with a good understanding but without a fair
48:02
understanding of what you are doing you will be able to be led astray because of the monetary
48:09
need in your church. It gets to a time people are tired they won't give. People will be slow to give. What will you do?
48:17
Someone can say if you join us we can do this for you. We can connect you to this. They always come these things trying to negotiate your tomorrow for
48:23
you. So money can take center stage in a church and de and devour divine will and
48:31
God's love in that church. God will not tolerate anything replacing him in honor. Nothing should be more important
48:37
than God in a church irrespect of how desperate this money is for his work.
48:42
Matthew 6:24 says no man can serve two masters for either he would hate the one
48:47
or love the other or else he will hold on to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money and money
48:54
there is mmon. What I'm trying to say is that it gets to a time where you think oh
49:03
you know we were were buying instruments and we bought instruments and asked for
49:08
more time to make a certain payment. The guy was like,
49:19
"I was trying to buy.
49:35
They have to know what we are doing. They have to understand what is left. They have out of their own will give this kind of money.
49:43
I've got to preach it, teach it and ask them to give at their own time. Now that doesn't mean I'm a better
49:49
pastor than others. No, I'm being careful so that money does not become the center stage of the work than God
49:56
himself. I'm just being careful. Huh? Others the fear is not there. Are you there?
50:03
Not that they are bad. The fear is not there. They realize that the money is important and if you are delaying they will push you to get the money. Are you
50:09
understanding what I'm trying to say? And so in understanding how important money is. Next slide. How important
50:16
money is one must learn how to control and legally find out how and what to do.
50:23
that will subject the church into receiving God's presence more and not
50:28
subverting God's will just to make money to assume that we need to do X Y and Z.
50:35
Luke 16:11-12 says, "If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who who will if
50:43
therefore you have been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to you or to your trust through riches? And
50:50
if you have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own, please pay
50:58
attention. Please, if you feel you are sleepy, stand up small for me. If you feel, just stand up small and walk
51:03
around small as I preach. Don't worry. What I'm teaching, I don't want you to lose it. I I what I'm I don't want you
51:09
to lose it. In fact, what I'm teaching is high spiritual knowledge.
51:15
Very high. I mean, trust me, it has escaped even many pastors. So what I'm teaching is very important. The Bible
51:20
says that if you have not been faithful, if you have not been faithful with money
51:26
in the secular world, who will trust you with true riches? What are true riches?
51:33
So true riches transcend beyond the physical. It transcend be beyond
51:39
generation. God wants to bless Lydia so much that
51:44
every grandchild, everybody in her bloodline will never see poverty.
51:51
Are you with me? But to commit that level of wealth
51:57
through riches to them, he must first of all find them faithful.
52:07
So to be faithful in money, one needs to understand there are laws of money. Tell us there are laws of money.
52:15
If you want to become rich on the face of this earth, you have to apply those laws. Huh? Whether you want to work for the
52:22
devil, want to work for God, these laws are universal. Everybody pursuing money must know the laws of money. Eh, but God
52:30
has a plan to bring you to abundance. Just as Solomon taught us, not the place of not enough, but the place of
52:35
abundance. But before that abundance must come, one must be found faithful
52:42
with unrighteous money. So permit me to run speedily with you
52:48
through some of these laws and then I'll bring my sermon to a close. Listen. Number one, the law of cause and effect.
52:53
Tell us about cause and effect. For every action, there's either a positive or negative effect.
53:01
that is the outcome of that action. So, whatever you do, I'm not saying it's
53:08
good or bad. Whatever you do, there's always an effect. Uh, if you slap
53:13
somebody, there's an effect. Either they get angry or they cry and run away or they get hurt. Is that not it? But
53:20
whatever they experience after that is an effect from the cause you caused it.
53:25
Now, let's rephrase this to money. Money is an effect of a cause that you do. So
53:32
money is a result of an action you take. Are you understanding me? So the Bible says in simple knowledge of this that
53:40
you cannot put your hands within your ties and make money. The Bible,
53:46
have you understood I'm trying to say? So money is as a cause or as as an
53:52
effect of what? A cause. If you want to make money, work towards making money. Is that understood by everybody?
53:58
Number two, law number two, universal. What you believe ultimately becomes the reality you live. What you believe does
54:07
our actions are always consistent with our beliefs.
54:12
H what do you believe? Do you believe that you are never going
54:17
to become rich? You will never become rich. Even if somebody dashed you money, you still not become rich. You lose it.
54:24
So your belief system is what makes you
54:29
what you're experiencing today. Huh? The Bible says, "For I know the
54:35
plans and thoughts of you." H they are of good not of evil.
54:43
So if God has said that, why do you believe somewhere somehow as a Christian?
54:51
Why is it even feasible that you believe that those who are walking in the world, they are smarter and they're going to
54:56
succeed more than you?
55:02
So ultimately you become the reality of what you have believed.
55:10
Now Peter said this. He said if truly you are Jesus who I know bid me and I'll
55:17
come. And Jesus said come. doesn't say, "Oh, don't you know I'm I'm Jesus, your Messia." He said, "Just come." Peter
55:23
stepped and walked on water. Then after a while, he Bible say he doubted. And the minute he doubted, the reality of
55:30
his doubt became what he lived. He began to sank. You have to believe that the same God
55:37
that lifted Solomon, it's going to make you so fabulously rich.
55:43
Taking your money to bank will become a headache. People enter your house and the money is just lying on the floor because
55:57
Do you understand? You have to believe. You have to start believing that.
56:10
is sleeping. Wake the person. Shake the person around you. Shake the person. Rub their ties. Rub their back. Hallelujah.
56:16
What am I trying to say? I want you to believe that God is on an agenda to make you financially great. Believe it all
56:21
the time. So that when you do that, it becomes the reality of the life you will live. Believe that for God is not
56:30
unrighteous to forget your labor and and sacrifice of love in which that you
56:36
still do serve God's church and serve his people. He will not reward you evil. Believe it.
56:43
You ask the law one law for every millionaire when they how they they believed they'll make the millions. They believed they going to make money and
56:50
they pursued that agenda and what they believe became their reality. Number
56:55
three, the laws of expectation. What you expect is the outcome of the
57:01
life you will live. H the two are close but not the same.
57:06
So you are doing business but your expectations
57:14
Bible says God will send you to unexpected end. So have expectation. Have what? Expectation.
57:22
Have what? Expectation. So the law of expectation says that the outcome of our life is as a result of what we are
57:29
expecting. So expect good so that good may come to you. Amen. Number four, the laws of attraction.
57:36
The laws of attraction. We attract people, circumstances, and events that align with our dominant thoughts.
57:50
Have you not noticed, girls? Have you not noticed that when you don't trust men, you only you only meet men who can't be trusted?
57:57
You haven't noticed men. Have you not noticed that because you cannot trust girls to be good, you
58:03
are also meeting the people who are not good all the time.
58:09
Oh, you have relived your own expectation, sister. You've attracted your own expectation. And so have an
58:16
expectation for good and great opportunity. I didn't say build castles
58:22
in the air, but have good expectations. Huh? Have expectations that people will go
58:28
out of their way to do what is good in your life because of God's blessing, because of God's oil on your life. Amen.
58:36
So the laws of attraction expect
58:45
keep saying until becomes a reality. Imagine it. Believe it,000.
58:54
Keep on saying it. Psych yourself until your spirit begins to attract opportunities that can create
59:02
that money in your life. That's the law of attraction. The law of
59:08
attraction. Number five, the law of exchange. That's the law of exchange.
59:14
Money is a medium through which people exchange goods and services. Money is
59:19
not spiritual. So when a court comes and say come and join us, when witchcraft come and say come and join us, please
59:24
don't go. After you go and join them, you still have to go and work.
59:32
What are you fooling yourself for? Don't you know that they want to cut short your ability to enjoy the fullness
59:38
of God's blessing that they are negotiating what is only your own right?
59:43
When somebody gives you an offer, always calculate what you are losing first. People never calculate that.
59:51
They paint a picture to you believe and just jump. When when the devil painted what God has done if already to Eve as
59:57
if it was an opportunity to disobey God to receive it. If didn't think twice that she also be made that already
1:00:03
because God had created him in his image and likeness. He need to eat a fruit to be wise as God was.
1:00:09
She didn't know. She did not know. So she embraced that
1:00:15
as an opportunity. H
1:00:20
that's the law of exchange. What are you exchanging to make the goods and services that you want?
1:00:27
What are you exchanging as goods and services to receive the money you want? So you want to make money, you must be
1:00:34
able to create valuable goods and services that people are willing to exchange their money for. You don't need
1:00:40
any special power from any darkness or anywhere. Are you understanding me?
1:00:45
If you offer a service, people cannot appreciate because you are you are showing your service to the wrong kind of people.
1:00:52
Huh? So they tell you for for every no there's one extra yes coming. So keep
1:00:58
pushing. Are you understanding the principles I'm teaching this morning? Okay, next slide please.
1:01:08
The law of capital. Tell us the law of capital. Time is your most valuable asset that
1:01:14
you will exchange for money. Never think it's your strength. Your strength is not why we exchange for money. It is your
1:01:20
time. Our physical and mental capital must operate within time to produce capital
1:01:27
or money.
1:01:36
This period of time. Are you understanding what I'm trying to
1:01:42
say? You are a banker. Is it not it? You know
1:01:47
how to count and do things like that. Are they paying you because you know
1:01:52
they paying you because you are there 7 to 8. H you close late and you don't make mistakes. They looking for certain
1:01:59
results. If you deliver on that on time, they pay you. Are you with me church? So time is your
1:02:06
most valuable asset on earth. Never waste it. Never allow anybody to waste your time. Never allow anybody to waste
1:02:14
your time. Tell somebody, never allow anybody to waste your time.
1:02:20
Your time is money.
1:02:26
You can either invest your time or spend your time. Invest your time. Put your
1:02:32
time into things that brings you reward and money. Hello
1:02:40
Seven, Parkkins law. Pkins law says that
1:02:45
as your income rises, so will your expenses also rise.
1:02:52
The day you receive that bank manager letter. [Music]
1:03:06
So as your income rises, so your problems come.
1:03:13
The Bible says in this world, he will bless you with more money and more problems.
1:03:18
The Bible said it to not human beings. So in Parkinson's law, income rises, so
1:03:27
as your income rises, so will your expenses also rise. High income people most often die broke because they don't
1:03:35
see the coloration of this. They assume that as they are working the money will come and they embrace more expenses and
1:03:43
more troubles. They don't know when to draw the line which expenses I can absorb which I should not accept which I
1:03:50
should turn down. And because they don't, everybody will bring their problem to them. But they realize they have emptied themselves of every
1:03:58
potential and time that could generate money for them and they die broke.
1:04:05
Do everything possible to break this law. Pakistan's law doesn't mean fulfill it. Break Pakistan's law
1:04:13
by not spending everything you earn. Tell somebody, don't spend everything you earn.
1:04:18
Number eight, make savings a habit. Tell someone, make savings a habit.
1:04:24
Some of these things I'm learning from my wife, small. Are you ready? Make savings a habit.
1:04:31
Say it. Say it. Say it. Say it. Psych yourself. Believe it. Huh?
1:04:36
Make savings a habit. Provide a cushion for whatever tomorrow may present you.
1:04:41
Pay yourself first. Any money that comes, pay yourself first before you spend the rest.
1:04:48
No matter. So the paying yourself doesn't mean you pay yourself to chop it. You pay yourself to save it. That's
1:04:54
what I mean. No matter the money that comes into your hands
1:05:01
a month.
1:05:14
Now allow me to show you how this will work better for you. Let's say you have 100%
1:05:21
or you have a th000 cities a month which is your income. So the yellow is income. 10% of that money is never yours. It's
1:05:27
for God. It's called your tithe. I don't care who you are. It's called your tithe. You're a Christian. That's why I'm teaching you this. 10% is for God.
1:05:35
10 real% not 10% minus another 3% and 4% calculation. No, 10% is for God first of
1:05:42
all. So you are now left with 90%. Out of that 90%, 20% is yours. You give
1:05:49
God 10, you pay yourself double. Are you understand what I'm saying? Yes,
1:05:55
that 20% is not for chopping. It's not for go and take coke and m and feel nice. That's not what I'm teaching you today. Please, that 20% is for savings.
1:06:05
In this savings, there are two things you must have. You must have cash savings and portfolio savings. What is a
1:06:12
cash saving? Cash savings is money you put aside never to touch. This is not for what you spend when you are having
1:06:18
troubles. No, you don't. That savings you only touch it when it's going to bring you more money. That money even
1:06:24
[Music] because that money is for spending
1:06:31
tomorrow is not for today because cash is skin irrespective of the dispensation
1:06:37
you live in. So you must save that. Now the out of that 20%
1:06:42
then you have to use a certain portion
1:06:47
as investment. Tell about as investment.
1:06:52
Some people they they bought investment packages alone they don't have cash savings.
1:07:02
So you must have cash savings then have investment portfolios
1:07:11
financial savings over a period of 10 or five years you'll be multiplying your money like something
1:07:18
you don't understand why because every year out of every month out of your own savings you take what you take a certain
1:07:24
portion put it back in that savings and put some back in the investment when the investment brings money you put back
1:07:30
that cash into your cash portfolio also Then you must take now we at what we've
1:07:36
already done 30% we have 70% then you take 10% into side hustle tell the side
1:07:41
hustle hustle side hustle it is not main hustle so a side hustleh
1:07:56
so do not be involved in some of you turn your side hustle into company business
1:08:01
which requires so much cash flow and every side hustle are simple easy things that you can do that can generate a lot
1:08:09
of money for you for example maybe your side hustle you're a photographer you take a wedding contract for the weekend
1:08:15
for 5,000 CDs
1:08:20
it didn't cost you money but you made 5,000 it cost you your camera once you went to shoot you made 5,000 cities
1:08:26
extra that 5,000 cities extra it is money you should add to your expenses and enjoy. That's where you enjoy that
1:08:34
life not from the salary but from the side hustle.
1:08:40
So choose side hustles that don't put tax burdens on you. Choose side hustles that don't put raw material cost on you
1:08:47
as a business. Uh next year we we'll do a lot of these teachings on on side
1:08:53
hustles you can pick up and run with. I'll show you several of them. Simple things you can do on your own. You can
1:08:58
start as your own businesses. I'll show you countless of them. I've been piling them down for you. Don't worry. I've been piling a lot of them for you that
1:09:04
can make millions for you every weekend. Huh? Don't worry. There's plenty of them to share. But let's continue what I'm
1:09:09
trying to teach. So now we've done how much we've done 40% now. Huh? When we
1:09:15
add 10% to our side, then we have 60%. So 60% is our expenses money.
1:09:23
Now why am I teaching this? Because Ghana is going to a place where this is going to be possible. Some time
1:09:29
ago, this was impossible. Huh? When the dollar rises and everything goes high, it becomes impossible to practice these
1:09:34
things. But for some reason, Ghana is going the right direction now. We're just praying to keep going that way.
1:09:40
Huh? Because if dollar rises in the country, everything goes up. Am I lying?
1:09:47
So, as the dollar falls, things will come down small and you can cut down your expenses. Huh? Amen. So what is
1:09:56
your expenses? Water is expenses. Light bill is
1:10:01
expenses. What else? Food is an expenses. Everyday expenses.
1:10:07
Huh? What else? Rent is expenses. Good. You know what I like? There's
1:10:14
something called urgent expense and non-urgent. So urgent expenses are the things you are mentioning.
1:10:21
Fuel agent.
1:10:26
Some are urgent to repair maintenance works. They are all urgent, but you must find a way to do them within your cost.
1:10:34
I don't know about you, but I'm going to pray that God will give you grace. I've had situations whereby we've come
1:10:40
into a place where our expenses have gone high more than we can have.
1:10:48
Are you understanding me? because we don't have the money sitting down as sometimes to the
1:10:55
you are you understand trying to say but as somebody who wants to become successful you must learn how to manage
1:11:01
what is urgent and non-urgent buying a new dress every month is not urgent
1:11:06
buying a new shoe every month is not urgent buying an iPhone 17 14 20 some of
1:11:12
you have about three different iPhones is not urgent expenses
1:11:17
listen to me listen to The difference between a poor man and a rich man is two things. Number one, the
1:11:24
rich spends money to get more money. The poor spends money to get poorer.
1:11:31
Are you understanding me? The poor person will buy the latest shoe for 600 cities out of salary of thousand cities.
1:11:38
Huh? And then he's left with 400 cities.
1:11:46
Are you with me? A poor person gets money, they want to buy the latest iPhone, want to buy a
1:11:52
car. You know, at a certain time, you don't need a car. If you are buying a certain car, there are certain cars you
1:11:57
should never buy.
1:12:02
Guys, look at me. Look at me. It was left for me alone to choose a car.
1:12:09
Fortunately for me, every car we've bought, mommy's the one who chose the car. Cuz when we go for cars, I will
1:12:14
choose the car. She say,
1:12:19
because I am trying to cut my coat according to my way, my waist and my
1:12:25
body size. She said, "No, this is better." And she's always right. Not that I'm
1:12:31
just saying that. She's always right because Hallelujah.
1:12:36
Amen. Because she knows she can afford it. Are you understand what I'm trying to say?
1:12:41
Good. Amen. Hallelujah.
1:12:49
Hallelujah. She wants what is good for all of us. I mean, I hope you understand. I'm just
1:12:54
I'm just making I'm not saying what she did was bad. I'm saying that she's choosing based on the fact that she
1:12:59
thinks she can maintain it. Are you with me? I am choosing based on the fact I think that
1:13:05
one. Are you understand what I'm trying to say? Okay. Look, 4x4s are beautiful.
1:13:16
This this card I dare not insult this car otherwise I will I would get trouble. This car can go for one repairs
1:13:23
and be 6,000 cities. Well the crazy huh the car is what kind of why repair work
1:13:28
go repair work.
1:13:35
Can you imagine when we just finished yesterday I was sitting down look
1:13:43
not again you just finished though that's why people drive those car people think they
1:13:49
have arrived but they have arrived enough
1:13:56
are you are you getting where I'm coming from and what I'm teaching has a reason please it's not as if I want to laugh at
1:14:02
somebody or condemn anybody I have a reason to teach what I'm teaching. And so in your pursuit to become rich,
1:14:09
these are things you should be looking at. Do not spend on things that bring more burden financially on you. Spend on
1:14:17
things that finds a way to bring what? More income to you.
1:14:22
Are you understanding what I'm trying to say? Number nine, do not spend your savings.
1:14:28
Tell whatever you do, don't lose money. Tell somebody whatever you do. Tell that person next to you, don't lose
1:14:34
money. Listen, I have found occasion to be so
1:14:40
grateful to my wife several times because she saves money.
1:14:46
Huh? Sometimes she say doesn't tell me.
1:14:55
Are you wives here? Do the same to your husband. Save some money. Don't tell them. I told her I said I've learned some many things from my wife I'm
1:15:01
sharing with you today. So save some money you never tell him.
1:15:14
Hallelujah. Are you understanding me? But you must have something you save
1:15:21
because you see you are the woman and mother you have a bigger responsibility with the children the face and everything. So you must save something
1:15:28
at least something you must save that belongs to the family of to you or whatever you want to do. Amen.
1:15:35
So you don't spend that savings unless it's going to secure more money without fail. Are you understanding me? You
1:15:43
don't. Now I'm sharing the last one.
1:15:51
Uh so the last one, the law of three. Test on the law of three.
1:15:58
The law of three. Okay. So um
1:16:04
I know some of the things I'm teaching borrow from the Bible with common sense. I know some of the things is kind of new
1:16:11
to you, but you will pick up anytime you go back to this sermon, you always pick up. Don't worry. The law of three life
1:16:16
is centered around three stages. These stages require financial planning to succeed in all of them. In life, we
1:16:24
have the learning years. You go to schoolh. You have parents that teach you. You
1:16:30
have teachers that you have you have learning years. Then you have your earning years.
1:16:39
It's called your earning years. H most people your earning years starts from 20 to 65 when you go on retirement. Huh?
1:16:47
That's your working years about 20 or 40 years or 30 years depending when you started working. So that is your earning
1:16:52
years. Then you have retirement years. The years where you don't go to work but you must live, you must chop, you must do everything till you die. So you have
1:16:59
retiring years. Just as God gives every man three days, he has given you three days. Amen. In this three. In this three
1:17:07
in
1:17:16
work, go and try again until it works. Huh? Okay. Teaching is easier than done. Hallelujah. Amen. So, money cycles. Save
1:17:24
your money. When you start life as a young girl, young boy, save your money. Make sure you save your money.
1:17:37
If you are married, husband and wife, have life policy for one another.
1:17:43
You can choose to have only one or do it secretly without the other
1:17:48
knowing. Why is life policy important? BBC Mosa,
1:17:54
there must be wealth created to solve the problem. I know this is a very difficult. You don't teach this in
1:17:59
African churches. You tell a woman that she go and take an insurance on the husband.
1:19:29
liberties are not slavery. Any pursuit of wealth that takes away
1:19:34
your freedom is not worth having it. Keep that in your mind.
1:19:41
stories. Somebody said they want money badly because people are suffering their home.
1:19:59
That isn't money. Walk away from that nonsense. That's not money.
1:20:16
It's the same thing. So money should offer liberties and not
1:20:22
slavery. Don't go join courts and those things because you think it offer you opportunities when it will enslave you.
1:20:28
So that another person which will align your
1:20:34
purpose and misdirect you. So remember this important thing I'm
1:20:40
teaching you today also when somebody offers you an opportunity first consider what you are losing or exchanging for
1:20:47
that opportunity. Are you with me? When God offers us
1:20:54
the chance to bless us and make us great, what is he expecting us to sacrifice? Even God doesn't give us
1:21:00
blessings free of charge. You know that God demands our obedience and love first.
1:21:07
Our obedience and love must be sacrificed for God to offer us true wealth and riches that will last our
1:21:13
generations on this earth. Let me prove this. Proverbs 13:21-22. Evil pursue
1:21:18
sinners, but to the righteous good shall he repay. God will repay good to the righteous for doing good. A good man
1:21:26
will leave an inheritance to his children's children, and the wealth of sinners is laid up for the just people.
1:21:37
So when a man obeys and love God, God has a covenant. Next, next slide, God
1:21:43
has a covenant to bless that person. Isaiah 1:19 says, "If you be willing and
1:21:49
obedient, you shall eat the good of the land." It's conditional. If you are
1:21:55
willing and you are going to obey God, every
1:22:00
blessing good in the land, God will bring it to you. Job 22:21-25.
1:22:08
This is the part I love the most. One of my most favorite scriptures. The word is acquaint. The word acquaint. How do you
1:22:13
How do you understand? Acquaint. acquaint to be known. Be familiarized
1:22:26
and worship. Let
1:22:31
now thyself with him and be at peace. Thereby good shall come unto thee.
1:22:37
Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth. Lay up his words in your heart.
1:22:43
If thou shalt return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, and shall put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
1:22:50
Then shalt thou lay up gold. Gold as what? Dust.
1:23:03
Hallelujah. Because why? Gold has no value anymore in your home. It's in abundance.
1:23:10
That's why it's in abundance. You see the wise called this place gold coast. It was the land of gold everywhere. In
1:23:17
fact they still said that everywhere in Ghana you can get gold. Have you have you heard before?
1:23:25
Because everywhere everywhere there's good.
1:23:32
The Bible says that if a man acquaint himself with God, if a man chooses to
1:23:39
hear the instructions of God and obey them, the Bible says that God will make sure that the person will put away
1:23:45
errors from their way. They would obey God's word and they will come to the
1:23:50
place of abundance. They will come to a place of abundance. Quality abundance.
1:23:57
And the Almighty shall be their defense and they will have plenty of silver, plenty of what? money.
1:24:06
Does God know that you will never allow FIFA Chap International to fail? That the work he
1:24:13
has committed to enhance here will not fail whilst you are here. Mr. Charles,
1:24:20
are you carrying the church on your shoulder as you should? Are you determined not to let this work fail one
1:24:26
day, one minute? Then is God committed to also make sure
1:24:44
Oh, I'm serious. I'm serious. A lot of you will see this blessing before you pass away.
1:24:50
You be so rich. You don't understand why. Because God is going to take you there.
1:24:56
Tell he's going to take me there. Matthew 11:28 to30 says, "Come unto me
1:25:03
all that labor and are heavy laden. I will give you rest. Take my yoke." What
1:25:09
was the yoke of Jesus, guys? So whilst there is what day I must do the works of my father.
1:25:22
All he cared about was the work of God. He said my yoke is light and it is easy.
1:25:37
M
1:25:46
are you understand Bible said his yoke is
1:25:56
those who are walking the world is not an easy flight for them.
1:26:06
[Music] because his yoke is light and his
1:26:13
burden. The Bible says, "Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly
1:26:20
in heart and you shall find rest unto your souls for my yoke is easy and my
1:26:25
burden is light." He that called us,
1:26:31
he that redeemed us, redeemed us so that we can serve him in love and be
1:26:36
committed to financing his work all our lifetime. Final slide. Let's go.
1:26:44
Before you jump to think that blessings come simple, allow me to speak of one man as I bl bring my sermon to a close.
1:26:51
Not as I blink, but as I bring my sermon to a close. Hallelujah. Some of you are not sleeping. You can
1:26:57
following me. All right. Boom. Watch me. Hallelujah. And laughter is medicine to the soul. Hallelujah.
1:27:04
Amen. English.
1:27:10
Hallelujah. Amen. So allow me to speak of the man Solomon who is the richest man on because we are
1:27:16
talking about money. If you want money, you must compare the one who was really rich beyond every understanding. You
1:27:22
can't compare mangoes with with tomatoes. They're not the same. Hallelujah. So I want to I want us to look at
1:27:28
Solomon critically this morning and why God made him rich. You see listen I said
1:27:34
this to you that Solomon became king whilst his father was alive. David hadn't died. David didn't die then they
1:27:39
make Solomon king. While David was alive David made sure that Solomon was king
1:27:45
and David instructed David instructed Solomon on all that he must do as a king. David told him everything he must do to
1:27:51
never lose the throne. Everything he must do to make God happy about him.
1:27:57
And then David told him what to do with the temple. So when his father died when temple
1:28:18
new rules, new law. [Music]
1:28:25
No, Solomon obeyed his father David to build a place of worship for God's
1:28:31
people. God never appeared to Solomon and said, "I want you to build from me." God
1:28:37
appeared to David and said, "Solomon will build." God never told Solomon. God
1:28:42
never appeared to any prophet and says Solomon David Solomon will build. God was silent watching Solomon's heart
1:28:50
and the guy began to implement everything his father has taught him in obedience
1:28:56
because after he has finished building do you know that God spoke to David so
1:29:01
much that even taught them how they should worship how they should organize church services. The book of Chronicles
1:29:08
Bible said when when Solomon said all these things to the priest, they all accepted it. Nobody
1:29:14
challenged it. Even the pastors knew that David had a
1:29:22
prophetic calling. He was a priest. So they kept quiet and said, "No, we'll follow what King David said. We know that God speaks to King David. We will
1:29:29
hear him." They didn't challenge his voice. And the Bible said that when he had finished the temple, that was not
1:29:36
all. Solomon began to give to God. Said, "We've built the temple, but God, but but God must live in this temple." The
1:29:44
man kept on giving cow after cow. In fact,
1:29:55
the guy had lost his head. He won't stop. He was going to give. Listen. So why did he not choose rather to sing
1:30:01
till God comes to worship till God come but he chose to give until heaven spoke?
1:30:08
Remember this I told you about the angel appearing and
1:30:14
say that your giving and prayer has huh and so the Bible said that that Solomon
1:30:22
gave until God said enough no more sacrifice. What do you want
1:30:27
Solomon? What do you want from me? No more, please. No more sacrifice. Solomon said, "These people are not ordinary
1:30:34
people. I cannot rule them. I'm not David your son. I am Solomon. I can't compare myself to my father. I want
1:30:42
wisdom to rule these people like how you help my father rule them." God looked at him and said, "Really? You don't want
1:30:49
anything. You don't want money. You want wisdom. Okay, that's sort of wisdom. No man will compare to you in wisdom. But
1:30:56
in wealth, none will ever live on the face of this earth richer and mightier.
1:31:04
What did Solomon do for God to bless him so more? The Bible said he sustained the house of God.
1:31:11
The house of God was sustained. He didn't just build a beautiful temple. He financed the temple. He made sure that
1:31:19
people paid their tithe. He made it was a to obey God. You don't joke with
1:31:25
the obeying of God. Solomon made sure every man was following God's principles, going to church doing this.
1:31:31
The the ten commandments were read to the people. He made sure that the house of God prospered.
1:31:40
Ecclesiastes 12:13, fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. This is Solomon speaking.
1:31:46
Said, man must recognize God in everything he does and must be willing to obey every instruction from God's
1:31:53
mouth. The same Solomon said in first kings 11:4 it said for when Solomon was old his wives his wives not him the
1:32:01
Bible said when he was old. So whilst he was still a young man, Solomon kept the
1:32:06
right ways. He didn't become rich when he was old. He was wise, blessed,
1:32:11
followed what was right until he was very old. Then his many, many, many, many wives convince him to try something
1:32:19
he has never tried before. That is worship idols.
1:32:25
2 Chronicles 8:15-16. and they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priest
1:32:32
and Levites concerning any matter or concerning the treasures. Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the
1:32:39
day of the foundation of the church of the house of the Lord until it was finished. So the house of the Lord was
1:32:45
perfected. The house of the Lord was what? Perfected.
1:32:50
Someone loved the Lord walking in the statues of David his father. He loved the Lord.
1:32:57
You want to know why God blessed him? I've showed you. These are the reasons apart from why God blessed him. But
1:33:04
these blessings were conditional. So long as Solomon would do these things in God's house, God will provide for
1:33:10
him. The day he turned from doing all this for God and following God with all his heart and worship either other
1:33:18
idols, the Bible said God's anger came against him and God chose somebody,
1:33:23
somebody who was of no power. The person just arose and beat Solomon to death.
1:33:31
The person arised and beat Solomon to death because he had angered God.
1:33:43
Let's bring our sermon to an end. Finally,
1:33:51
money has a role in God's work. Such as money has a role in your life to
1:33:57
let you feel the comfort, direction, and the speed necessary for your life. So, does money have an
1:34:06
important role in making sure that God's work does not fail on the face of this
1:34:11
earth? I need you to realign your understanding of money
1:34:17
and use it to honor God in your lifetime.
1:34:23
Partner with God in this ministry. Help the work of God triumph and work in
1:34:30
this end time. And when the time comes when he comes,
1:34:35
not only will he glorify you as he has glorified those he considered his friends who did that like David, like
1:34:43
Abraham, whilst you are alive today, he will
1:34:50
cause you to cross from the barrier of not enough to abundance in Jesus name.
1:34:56
Amen. Bow down your head and let us pray.
1:35:06
I I need I need you to come to that place of a trusted walk with God.
1:35:14
Let God know you are his money bag. When he fills that bag, none of his work will
1:35:20
fail. Oh spirit of God, I bless you. Oh spirit of God, I give you praise.
1:35:30
I want you to speak to God. Say, "Lord, instruct my heart to do what is right.
1:35:37
Instruct my heart to walk righteously before you.
1:35:42
Instruct my heart, oh Lord, to give towards your work
1:35:49
in Jesus mighty name. In Jesus mighty name.
1:35:56
in Jesus mighty name. In Jesus mighty name. Thank you Jesus.
1:36:03
Thank you Jesus. Now let me pray with you.
1:36:12
Put your hand on your chest. Let's pray. Say Lord empower us. The Bible says it's
1:36:17
you that work in us both to will and to do of your good pleasure according to your Holy Spirit that works in us.
1:36:24
Father, work in our spirit to do these works of righteousness
1:36:31
to finance your work to cause your work to prosper. In the name of the Father
1:36:38
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
1:36:44
By our obedience to this, let us walk into the place of abundance and not the
1:36:50
place of not enough. Not the place of lack, not the place
1:36:56
of insufficient insufficiency, but the place of abundantly above all we can ask or think
1:37:02
of of the place where we shall lay on gold as dust
1:37:08
in Jesus name. Amen. Take out an offering for God
1:37:16
and speak over your offering that it will go and come back pressed down shaking together and running over in
1:37:25
Jesus name. Amen. Can we can we bring the baskets?
