Oh hallelujah. God richly bless you elder. Amen. Please do not forget that our elders and
0:07
deacons um appreciation day is next week. Is it next week? 31st. Yes. Next
0:14
week Sunday. Um the whole week is for them. We'll be appreciating and and
0:19
sharing testimonies and blessings and and um teaching about them the whole
0:24
week on the group and the church group not here. And we are encouraging every
0:29
one of you to give to our elders. We have only four elders. I know if if one of you each one of you
0:36
targets to give each one 500 CDs. It is good. Hallelujah. You can do it though.
0:41
Once a while about about your giving life once a Please don't record me yet. I hope you're not recorded. Are we live?
0:47
Yes. Once a while try and give beyond the normal offering you give. Don't tell
0:55
yourself me I always give this. Don't ever do that in this church. Nobody will force you to give what a certain amount.
1:01
But I'm telling you those who can give give. Those who can't give, fine. But please just give something you normally
1:07
don't give. If every year you're used to giving them 50 cities this year, double it. You understand me? Double it. Show
1:15
love and appreciation for all the good work they do. I alone cannot run a church. That that's something you must understand. I alone, my family, my wife,
1:23
we alone cannot run a church. We need elders and deacons to make the church work. Empower them. They make
1:30
sacrifices. They leave their job. They leave their family to stand with me when I call them. Please show your love and
1:37
appreciation to them. Amen. So this week, if I'm worrying you a lot on the platform, then it is me teaching about
1:44
why they are so relevant to the church that you must love, support, accept, and help them. Amen. Just tell yourself you
1:51
can do it. Eh, just give a good offering. Amen. Those of some of you you can give more than 500 give. Hallelujah.
1:57
Don't don't don't tell and say I can't. Amen. Amen. Now you can record me. Are you ready?
2:02
Can we go live now? No, I don't want that. When you do that, they have I have to do an edit of this.
2:09
Please, you only record when I preaching. It's a very important part of it.
2:16
Amen. Shall we lift up our hands and pray? Father, I thank you. I give you glory.
2:22
May I give you praise. I thank you for this morning in Jesus name. Amen.
2:29
This morning I want to speak on something God has laid on my heart to teach. It's called praying righteously.
2:35
Tell somebody praying righteously. Tell that person praying righteously.
2:41
You know we always pray. People pray. You pray in your house. I pray in my closet. You pray at prayer comes. You go
2:47
everywhere to pray. But there is something you have never realized and that is to pray righteously.
2:55
The ability to pray like Jesus prayed and get an answer for every prayer you
3:00
pray in life. And that's what I'm going to tell you because the Bible teaches us to know that there is no promise in
3:07
God's word for any other person but the righteous person. All the promises in God's word, they are for the righteous.
3:14
All the promises of punishment, they are for the unrighteous. Hello.
3:19
And so to be unrighteous is to be out of God's plan. And to be righteous is to be
3:25
within God's plan. Amen. And so Jesus came to be an example to us in our
3:31
prayer life. But today, church has turned prayer into
3:38
a money-m structure. And so because of that, people haven't really learned how
3:43
to pray well and to be able to focus the grace given them through prayer into
3:49
changing things in their lives and their society. Amen. So if you are ready,
3:55
shall we go? Prayer is an essential way of life. That means it's necessary for a
4:01
righteous person to pray. Necessary. Tell somebody necessary. Prayer is an essential part of your life
4:07
as a as a righteous person. Prayer offers the righteous person the platform
4:13
to exercise their godliness. Remember this. If you're a righteous person,
4:18
prayer is the only room where you exercise your godly nature.
4:23
Being righteous doesn't mean you go around telling people to me bow to you don't do I'm anointed now. You don't do I'm powerful. That's not what we mean by
4:30
godliness. That's that doesn't mean the slightest thing you are cursing and and destroying people. That's not what we
4:35
are saying. But in in prayer you have every right and
4:42
room to exercise authority as a godhead on the face of this earth. So a
4:48
righteous person uses prayer as a platform for them to exercise their
4:53
godliness. It affords them room to bring their faith to life. Everything you have believed, everything you have ever
5:00
believed in this life only comes alive in prayer. How you believe God shows in
5:08
how you pray. How you trust in the promises of God shows when you quote them and stand upon them. When you pray,
5:15
your faith comes alive. Your faith is given a living breath in prayer as a
5:21
righteous person and to demonstrate their understanding of the word of God. For a righteous
5:28
person, prayer affords you the room to bring your faith to life and to demonstrate how you understand God's
5:35
word. The righteous enjoys the labor of prayer for it strengthens them.
5:41
Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Amen. And I'm I'm going to teach concerning this definition I've given.
5:48
I'm going to teach concerning this definition. I'm going to try it's a very broad topic. I'm going to try and narrow it down to a structure that is
5:54
assimilable to us because I cannot finish explaining Jesus Christ. There are several dimensions of our Lord Jesus
6:00
Christ. I can keep teaching and teaching till he comes. Hallelujah. I don't know those of you have walked with me for a
6:06
very very long time. You can tell there's the grace of God to teach God's word. Amen. In a way you have not been
6:12
used to before. Right? not sermons you normally have heard before because the same scripture somebody will use the
6:18
grace of God will grant me deeper understanding to teach it differently. This isn't this isn't lifting my horns
6:24
up or lifting my my shoulders up. This is telling you the truth what my purposes is in this life. Hallelujah.
6:31
And so I'm going to try and stick to this revelation that I'm going to teach you that God taught me and we are going
6:37
to try and apply them in our lives from from this week. I told you that when we enter into September, it is our month of
6:43
spiritual relevance. It's the month of prayer, the month of understanding, spiritual things and beyond. Amen. And
6:49
so, um, I hope we'll be ready this year to make a mighty change in the lives of
6:56
everyone. Hallelujah. I also want to I want you to understand this. Every year,
7:02
every year when I declare a prophetic word, I give three different pictorial
7:07
messages. And each message is a reflection of an understanding. Eh, this
7:13
year I gave you three. I started posting the first ones, posted the second one.
7:18
The third one I'm going to give um a small quiz. I want
7:25
anybody who can explain what the third one means. Uh which is I'm telling you has been
7:32
activated in the spirit for the rest of the year from now to December. And I want to find out how many of you are
7:39
even pay attention to those graphics. I just don't choose them for choosing sake. They are spiritually inclined to
7:46
enable the grace of God to flow in our life in a different perspective. You are
7:52
different sons and daughters of a of a different ministry, a different a ministry that claims that God lives
7:57
here. And where the presence of God is, there is wisdom and there's understanding. So I know for sure some
8:03
of you will answer this and ace it. Oh, I should put a price on it. So you'll be busy thinking about it this week. We
8:08
should put a price. What kind of prize? You prefer cash prize or
8:14
iPhone 6. Oh, how this not possible boss? I can't give you an iPhone today. So but my point is there will be a
8:21
beautiful reward on Sunday for you. Amen. So um the things we are going to
8:27
talk about first of all let me try and explain some things in scripture. Psalm 11:7 says, "For the righteous
8:35
for for the righteous Lord loveth righteousness." God is a righteous God
8:41
and he loves righteousness. His countenance only the righteous can see.
8:46
Hello. He means that in his presence or in his in his face in his glory only the
8:53
righteous can see it. what it means that if you are righteous, you have great
8:58
grace to be able to appear before God without guilt and shame without
9:04
um sin and disgrace to stand before God and to make your case. So the Bible says
9:10
only the countenance only the uh uh the countenance of God only the upright or the righteous person can ever see.
9:18
Hello. Hello. So if you are a Christian, righteousness is a very important aspect of your life.
9:26
I've explained this before, no other thing matters outside righteousness. If you're a Christian, if you claim you're
9:31
a Christian, if you're a church believer or a believer in God, you're a Jehovah worshiper, whatever, whatever you are is
9:38
different. But if you claim you are a Christian and you want to walk like Christ on the face of this earth, there
9:43
is no other way God has given unto men but the way he showed through Jesus who
9:48
is the way, the truth and the life. Do not be do not bother yourself what people are teaching. No matter how they
9:55
are teaching it, focus on being skilled in righteousness. Focus on being able to
10:01
access all the power judgment.
10:14
That is the basis God will judge you. He will not call you on the basis of your holiness. He will not call you on the
10:19
basis of another man's perfection. He will not call you on the basis of anything you think you know already. He will call you on the basis of righteous
10:25
works on the face of this earth. So skill yourself in that aspect. Isaiah 26:2-3 says, "Open ye the gates that the
10:34
righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in it.
10:39
Thou will keep him perfect, thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he has trusted
10:47
in you." Let me try and explain this simply. says, "Open the gates, the
10:52
doors, the opportunity. Open the access to the nation that keeps righteousness."
11:00
You see, you see the the Bible says something in the book
11:05
of Isaiah 1:9 says, "If you are willing and obedient, then shall you eat the good of the land." Hello.
11:12
The aspect of being willing and obedient is an attribute of righteousness. Are
11:18
you with me? Every opportunity and power and grace
11:23
and love and access of God is given only to the righteous and not to any other
11:29
person. Are you with me? So from Genesis revelation, God has been busy trying to
11:36
make us righteous. He has been busy calling the first man Abraham to whom all the genes is blessed through
11:42
righteousness to teach him about trust in God, walking with God, faith in Christ. He has taught him all those
11:48
things and had made it the pillar of our existence. And so when we couldn't do it, he sent Christ to give us his
11:54
righteousness that because without righteousness, no one comes into the things of God nor carries the wealth and
12:01
the power of God like that. And so if we want to be able to access
12:08
the power of God, we need to understand as a nation that we need to practice righteousness because all the good
12:14
things of God will be open to us if only we choose to walk righteously.
12:20
Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because he
12:26
trusted in thee. Hallelujah. Amen.
12:32
Now, oh why this again? What happened? What were you researching?
12:39
Okay, now there were some. Let's go back. Let's go back again. I want to show you something. Based on the def
12:46
Please enter. Based on the definition I said that number one, it is a place to
12:53
exercise your godliness. Prayer is a place to exercise your godliness as a
12:58
righteous person. Number two, I said that it demonstrates
13:06
it it allows you to bring your faith to life and to demonstrate your understanding of the word of God.
13:12
Hallelujah. And lastly, the righteous enjoys the labor of prayer. And I said these were attributes you could find in
13:18
Jesus Christ. Now, let's move on. Number one, praying righteously or being
13:25
prayerful as a righteous person brings your faith to life. Prayer allows a righteous person to give
13:32
life and impetus to their faith. What do I mean by that? Speaking out of
13:38
convictions of our faith and enforcing the will of God concerning our circumstances. That's what I mean. You
13:45
see, when you stand in prayer as a righteous person, you are not praying hopelessly. When we go to, have you ever been to a
13:51
prayer camp before? You see how people pray? It's not bad, but people pray. Some people can pray
13:58
more hours than you. But no matter the hours they pray, God won't hear them. Because prayer isn't about the hours you
14:04
have spenting, it's about how you have access to the doors of heaven. You see, when the devil is coming to
14:11
heaven, he's not coming as a son of God. He's coming as a fallen fool. The Bible
14:16
says when the sons of God gathered, he also presented himself. He didn't come as one who is God's enemy. He will not
14:22
be he will not be having access to enter but one who God has created and for a purpose God is able to use on earth for
14:28
his purpose. So the Bible says how excellent is thy power. All thy enemies submit onto thee oh Lord. Hello. You
14:37
cannot go to God in a different criteria or in a different access. You have to go
14:43
by the access he has created. And so if God has created an access by prayer and
14:48
for over 50 to 37 to about 100 scriptures he has described how we
14:54
should pray and why we should pray. You cannot use your own access to get there.
15:02
Hello. So you go to prayer camps and people are praying all kinds of prayer and they still feel God has not heard
15:08
them and they will spend Monday to Sunday in church. They will spend the
15:13
whole year praying about the same thing and there's no answer. Sometimes if you are sitting somewhere
15:19
you are looking at things you have too is the devil that powerful
15:24
is the enemy that strong is God helpless can't help us you ask
15:30
several questions is God's ear so hard that he won't hear us or what sin has that person committed that God refuses
15:37
to hear them please are you following what I'm trying to say several questions come to pass and the only reason is
15:43
because we haven't used the right access to get the right answer.
15:51
The Bible says something if we ask according to his will then we know that we will get what we
15:58
have asked. The Bible never said that then someday he said then we have what we have asked of him in faith. And so
16:06
when it comes to God when you use the right access to access God prayer about a request doesn't take forever.
16:13
Listen God is the creator of time. He knows the things that are very urgent to your need. So the Bible describes him as
16:19
our present help in time of need. I've heard many people give excuses like oh
16:25
you pray but God will give you an answer when he likes. Oh you can pray but the answer may come at a time that you are
16:31
ready for it. We we've all thought these things but the real truth is that God is our present helping. God doesn't help us
16:38
someday when he likes. He's our present help in the time of our need. That makes
16:44
him a different kind of God and the one that we can afford to trust. That's the approach we want to give because that's
16:50
the approach Jesus taught us. Amen. Jesus made it looked as if that once you prayed to God then the answer is
16:56
delivered. And so we want to use Jesus's plan. We don't want to use the old Hebrew way. You can go and pray at the
17:02
wall and pray at the wall and pray for several years and God hears you one. No. We want to use the access of Christ because if we have Christ as our gate
17:10
and as our help, the Bible says that we can boldly come into the throne room of God and asks him of our desires.
17:19
Now God is not a dead God. He's a God alive. And so if I come right now and I ask like uh Dr. Papa how are you? Will
17:27
you keep quiet and not answer me? Or if I ask you Dr. Papa can you give me money? If you don't have you tell me I
17:34
don't have or you tell me when you will get it. Am I lying? And so you have a lot of Christians they will go and pray
17:39
and pray and they don't hear from God. They are hoping some prophet will hear and tell them
17:46
because they approach and access they using it looked as if that god is a distant person somewhere and they they
17:52
don't have access to their answers. Please remember that as a man thinkketh so is he. And so if we don't get our
17:59
brain and our thinking pattern structured in the way Jesus had asked it to be, we cannot have access of God and
18:07
the answers to the things we pray for. And that's the biggest thing you must understand.
18:14
Hello. Uh hello. So in any form of of prayer, a person
18:24
must go in the capacity as Jesus has taught him to go and we'll come to that.
18:30
And so in prayer, we bring our faith alive. What is the faith? What have you believed? Have you believed that you
18:36
have been bought with the blood of Jesus? Do you believe that you are joint hes with Christ Jesus in heaven? When
18:43
you stand to pray, what is that faith that is coming alive?
18:48
Are you coming as the sinner who has never been forgiven?
18:54
Are you coming as the gentile who others are more preferred than you? How are you
18:59
coming before God?
19:04
Tell somebody when you go to pray, bring your faith alive. Bring your faith alive.
19:10
Yes. Make it. Make it. You see when you stand to pray, I thank you Lord. Jesus Jesus stood in pray. I thank you father
19:17
for I know you already hear me but it's because of these people standing here that is why I am praying then he turns
19:24
to the people he turns to the tomb and then he speaks and said come Lazarus
19:32
and the man just walked out of death didn't need to pray 10,000 tongues he doesn't need to pray she devil you know
19:39
me obey me I command the gates of hell Jesus didn't do that Jesus looked at the
19:45
problem and gave thanks to God. He said, "You already hear me." It looked as if God's eyes is on us 24 hours a day.
19:53
He says, "The the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and his and their prayer he will attend
20:00
to." The minute a righteous person begins to pray, all of God's attention goes to the need of that righteous
20:06
person instantly. So Jesus was telling us secrets that we
20:11
were not paying attention to. He stood in the presence of the people and he said, "I wouldn't have prayed in the
20:17
presence of these people." And the prayer he prayed wasn't to ask God that let Lazarus come alive. No, he said, "I thank you that you hearth me."
20:25
Jesus brought his faith alive and said, "I know that what I'm saying. Heaven hears me. Heaven is in agreement with
20:31
what I'm saying. I wouldn't have prayed because to have prayed in this people's presence was to
20:38
have acted faithless." Are you with me? But I am praying so that they will know
20:45
that my help comes from you from their doubts.
20:50
Then he said, "Lazarus, come forth." He never even said, "Lazarus, come from the
20:56
dead." He said, "Lazarus, come out."
21:03
And I know we read this and we just pass on and go. I know some of us read these things and then we just turn on the next
21:09
page and read the rest. But Jesus brought his faith alive. His faith now
21:15
was moved from the place of thinking that he's a human being. He needs to command death to obey the voice of God.
21:22
But he just declared and said, "Come forth."
21:28
Listen, as someone who has taken God seriously for many years, I have come to
21:34
a place sometimes you don't even pray long prayer for certain miracles. When your faith comes alive
21:42
in the hour of prayer, you speak the things that you have believed and they
21:47
become as you have declared. There was something that I read in in
21:54
the book of Acts 16 and I want to share with you very beautiful. The Bible said there were seven sons ofKeva whose habit
22:01
was to go around and command people with demon powers and said in the name of Jesus Christ whom Paul has preached come
22:07
out. That was their common behavior. Then one day they approached a certain
22:13
person demonp possessed and they said the same thing. The demon said the po you mentioned I know the Jesus you
22:20
mentioned I fear but who are you because their faith was not alive. Their
22:26
words didn't represent one who God had acknowledged or knew. They referred to
22:32
Jesus Christ as a third part person party whose name Paul has used. So the
22:40
said when Paul tells me to come out, I know what Paul is saying cuz I know who Paul is. I know that his faith comes
22:47
alive with the word of God he has believed. But who are you?
22:52
But if you go to a prayer camp because you've heard a prophet is coming and your faith is based on the prophet who
22:58
will lead you to prayer, you have not exercise your faith. This is why many people cannot pray indoors alone.
23:05
And if you're a Christian, you haven't built a personal prayer time. No external prayer group meeting can save
23:13
you. Let me let let me be very straightforward and tell you the truth. Christ who walked the face of this
23:19
earth. uh Christ who walked the face of the earth never attended one prayer group meeting
23:25
Jesus Christ never organized one prayer all night for himself and his apostles even the day they begged him to go and
23:32
pray the way the day he asked them to they slept and left him and he prayed because the work of of of the work of
23:40
lions is is is solitude are you understanding what I'm trying to say mighty people would walk alone in the
23:46
presence of the relationship between between them and God the Bible Ible said and Enoch walked with God. Enoch knew
23:52
God. Abraham knew God. He could have God come down and talk to him. If Abraham was in
23:58
a crowd, God won't come. Not that God is crowd shy, but because it is a personal relationship. That's why we call that to
24:04
know Jesus Christ not a person savior. It's a personal relationship with God.
24:10
But our generation is busy busy making sure that they identify with the prayer
24:16
camps they go to. They wear badges. They wear um stickers on their cars. They
24:21
wear because when the demon sees that they go and pray at that camp, the demon run away. What kind of joke is this in our generation? What kind of joke is it?
24:28
Do you think that's how the things of the spirit work? We are wearing bandanas, wearing
24:33
t-shirts. We are acting and pretending that demons
25:13
is when your faith comes alive. The other day I heard a testimony of a
25:19
of a a witch and he said that he was surprised that when he became a witch he thought he was very powerful and until
25:25
one day he saw one small Christian girl praying on her own and the Christian girl commanded that no witchcraft
25:30
meeting should happen in that area and all of them just vanished all the marers vanished he also had to vanish and when
25:37
he said that people were like it wasn't the pio was he she declared
25:43
that there should not be any satanic meetings in that place. You see, until
25:50
you have believed to a certain point, you can't make statements like that. In fact, we meet even as a church and we say say this, some of you are afraid to
25:56
say some of the I say they are too bold. Let's be honest. Just tell the truth to yourself. You won't admit before me.
26:03
Some of the things I will say, some of you you dare not say it, right? You don't go face and said, "Devil, no. You
26:09
see, you are a good man. You don't want any trouble. Stay your way. I stay my way. No
26:14
trouble. But that's what prayer is. Your faith comes alive. You declare concerning my
26:22
home, this is not your operating ground. Concerning my children, my generations,
26:28
concerning my church, this is not your operational grounds. Are you understanding what I'm trying to say?
26:35
The next time you stand to pray as a righteous person, let your faith come alive. Let what you have believed become
26:42
part of what you say. The Bible says with the heart we believe with the mouth confessions made unto righteousness.
26:47
What we believe must resonate what we speak. When it comes to righteousness,
26:52
the same thing you have believed must come out of your mouth. Are you with me? The Bible says out of the abundance of
26:59
our heart, the mouth speaketh. This is why in the kingdom of God, every word you speak as a Christian, you you have judgment against it one day. Yes. Don't
27:06
say things so especially ladies please look at me. Ladies, ladies, please don't take
27:13
offense. When you are angry, you like to say things you don't mean. Uhhuh. But
27:18
the Bible is saying that for every word that comes out of your mouth, you will get judgment for it. When you are a
27:25
Christian, if you're not a Christian, probably is a said every man cry. He didn't say even Christians. But when you are a Christian, you have to understand
27:30
that every word out of your mouth must either edify, embolden, glorify, or be a
27:35
depiction of faith. Am I making sense to somebody?
27:47
Who said Jesus Christ was ever afraid? He was so afraid. The Bible said when he was going to go and die, he was so afraid. They had to send angels to
27:53
strengthen. The man prayed, he was still not threatened. He prayed and prayed until the sweat was like blood drops.
27:58
And God sent angels to strengthen, to bring power from heaven to build his faith.
28:04
Who said Jesus Christ wasn't man like us? He was subject to the weaknesses we had. But he looked at these
28:09
impossibilities and still trusted God to die.
28:14
Listen, when they caught Jesus and arrested him and Peter took a knife and
28:19
cut off the ear of the the the disciple of the high priest, Jesus took the ear
28:26
and fixed it back and he stayed. Why do you think he did that? He wanted to prove that though they were arresting
28:31
him, he was not out of power. His anointing had not gone. He had the power to change the circumstance, but he is trusting God for the process.
28:39
Tell us about that is faith. He is trusting God for
29:03
hour and the time they have been given before the because they are not before the pres. They are before a prayer company and before people they need all
29:09
these physical jagons and stuff to feel like they are praying. But imagine you've been given access to
29:15
appear before your president to tell him your problem and you are there doing
29:20
this and doing that saying the same thing on what ground should he give you. You are making no statements that gives
29:26
you an answer. That is not prayer. The church must tell the truth. That is
29:31
not prayer. That's why you have fathers and mothers who have served God and prayed for years
29:38
and they have been defeated. People think like if you follow God, you're going to get a destiny crashed. Do you
29:44
know that some time ago when you become a young girl, you tell your mother you're going to church
29:50
cuz he knows your life is going to be destroyed. you're going to end up a failure because we never those who claim
29:56
to be leaders never knew how to deliver God's word in the way that empowers people to become all that God wants them
30:03
to become. And so if you believe you have you have
30:08
come into the presence of God, then this God you are choosing to bring your
30:14
matter to, he created the world by his words. Are you with me? When he come to
30:21
see a problem, he speaks the word. Jesus saw the wings boisterous. The apostles
30:27
had done everything possible. They have prayed their own prayer. They've casted everything they could let go. They have
30:32
let it go and nothing was happening. Jesus arose from his sleep. Did not pray in tong. They not spend one hour.
30:39
I am full of fire. The anointing is here now. Air stop wind. No. Jesus looked at
30:46
his problem and his faith came alive and he said, "Peace be still."
30:53
Prayer isn't the time that you show your fear. Prayer is not a time you show a negotiation with the devil that you
30:59
understand his place and you should understand his place. That's not what you do. Prayer is when you come into that place and you bring your faith to
31:07
life.
31:13
Through faith we understand that the world the world
31:23
and the boy. And so the world you want to experience can only come to you by what? The word of God spoken out of your
31:30
own mouth. Are you understanding me brothers and sisters?
31:35
So that the things which are seen are not made of things which do appear. And so the point is that anything that you
31:41
want to see is not based on what is an already manufactured existence. You need
31:49
to create them from the creative word of God. If you desire excellence, you need
31:55
to create them. If you desire progress, you need to create them. So the Bible says, "Say to the
32:02
righteous, he shall eat of the fruit of what?" Of his lips.
32:07
Proverbs 18:20-21 says, "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his
32:13
mouth, and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled." The increase of his
32:18
lips. What are you constantly speaking with your mouth?
32:26
Man is not a pillow. Hallelujah. Please don't laugh at me. I was trying to I just lost my ability to speak it. Amen.
32:33
So, uh,
33:12
had miss been informed that her boyfriend had cheated on him. didn't ask the boyfriend
33:19
that they left and he was going to marry somebody else.
33:24
And in the process of it, the lady was like, "The other girl should not marry this guy because the guy is a cheat."
33:31
And the whole thing was a big war blah blah blah blah blah, not knowing she still have feelings for this guy. And
33:36
then one day they met and by mistake they were kissing. Then the new girl who is marrying this same guy who this woman
33:42
called a cheat came to catch them but never fought a husband. When the friends
33:47
asked I said I know my man I trust him. He will not just do anything for no reason. I immediately I stopped typing
33:54
on my computer and I watched the movie again. I said no this is interesting and not that he was support she was
34:00
supporting evil. She wanted to make sure the process of a mind process of their
34:07
relationship was based on trust. So at one point in time the guy had to choose
34:12
between the two. She said this woman I first trusted when she had heard somebody's rumor without any evidence
34:20
believed and walked away on me. This woman caught me in a compromised position and still said this is the man
34:28
I love. This is what I want to see. The man came in front of this old
34:33
girlfriend and a new one and knelt before her and said, "I would die to have you. I would do anything to have
34:40
you." I know every man is surprised that can happen in real real life, right? It's
34:46
only in Hollywood Hollywood movies or Nigerian movies. They will beat you, insult you, then later not even
34:53
apologize and say, "But there's something I wanted to focus
34:59
on. Because you are constantly support suspecting your c your spouse or your
35:07
partner, you are definitely going to see that happen in your life because
35:18
I had somebody say that how do women know you the minute they suspect you then it's happening. No, the minute they
35:24
start harboring the possibility they put things in motion. The Bible said that Paul asked the church to pray against
35:31
the evil wishes of men. Not pronounced words, but men who wish that he will
35:36
fail. That he'll be disgraced one day.
35:44
Because you see, the devil needs to work. He needs a reason to go into action. He needs us. He still
35:50
understands that this world is still framed by the words we speak and the thoughts we keep.
35:57
That's the Bible says as a man thinkketh so is he and so the things you are busy focusing
36:04
on if you feel that God is difficult to explain God requires more prayer hours God is far away God is not kind to you
36:11
yes you pray and waste your time some go and pray then why are you even praying go
36:18
and sleep don't waste your time and go and pray again to prove that God did not hear you that is stupidity God doesn't
36:24
subject himself to peer If you don't believe that every prayer meeting is an answer to your question,
36:32
don't pray. Are you understanding what I'm trying to say?
36:38
You are not there to prove that you prayed and God refused to answer. That isn't the purpose of prayer. In prayer,
36:43
you bring your faith alive.
36:49
That's why you require a very powerful man of God to lead prayer before you come. Tell it does nothing. It's fun. It
36:54
does focal. The most anointed person can lead prayer and you still will not get an answer
37:00
because it's not about him. It's about you. The answer is individualistic.
37:07
The man can prophesy even see the hair of a micro orgasm in the spirit and
37:13
still you will miss it. Why? Because prayer is a personal thing you do. Your
37:19
faith tells us my faith must come alive. My faith must come alive. Proverbs 12:14 says, "A man shall be satisfied with a
37:26
good with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the recompense of a man's
37:31
hands shall be rendered unto him." The Bible says that if a man wants to see
37:36
good things, the fruit of his mouth, the fruit of his mouth will declare it. And they said, "Everything a man does, he
37:43
will receive a reward for it." Everything our hands end up doing, we shall pay a price or receive a reward
37:49
for it. 2 Corinthians chapter 4:13 says we having the same spirit of faith. Tell
37:55
somebody we. Tell that person we. You and who, you and Abraham, you and the
38:02
people who believed God, you and the apostles, you and anybody in history who received the Holy Spirit, they spoke
38:11
their faith. The essence of their faith was to speak. So Bible says, "And we
38:16
having been the same spirit of faith
38:24
according as it is written, I believed and therefore have I spoken." We also
38:30
believe and therefore speak.
38:36
When you come into prayer, use that hour, that time, that moment judiciously
38:42
like Jesus will use it. Use it. Stop. Some of you, you go into
38:47
prayer and you you you are busy praying that witches should die. The witch in your family should die. On what basis?
38:58
On what basis? Yes, you have declared that. But on what basis? Because the heavens and the earth will only agree if
39:06
the basis you speak of is already declared by God's word. Are you understanding what I'm trying to say?
39:12
That is why a word teaching ministry is important to your life. It allows you to open up to things that you would have
39:19
never known in an all power miraculous or prophetic ministry.
39:25
Are you with me church? Are you following me? Tell your brother
39:30
believe. and speak and all things will come to you. Number two,
39:39
in prayer we exercise our godliness. That's we exercise our godliness.
39:44
Now listen, are you a child of God? Ah they norally say an apple doesn't
39:51
fall far from a tree. Let me come let me come to our local palance.
39:59
Hello. Hi. Imagine if Mr. Yofi and Mrs. Yofi or Mr. Appleo and
40:07
Mrs. Appleo give birth to a Chinese-l looking girl.
40:14
They wouldn't say anything about who come you see the baby and say something went wrong.
40:20
Hello. Imagine you are Mr. Kaiser
40:26
and you have a daughter who looks like an Irish, you say, "Oh, no, this one the DNA." DNA
40:33
must come inside. This one there, this one there. Even if you accept the baby,
40:38
your own friends will tell you guy now. Everybody that sees that child will
40:44
question it. Am I lying? Even if you refuse to see it, they will question. Hallelujah.
40:51
The other day my wife took my kids out and they were outside and he met somebody she doesn't know. He said, "Oh, Pastor David's children said ah
41:08
Demons see you. Do they see God in you? That's how simple I'm trying to say this morning. God came to them in the desert,
41:15
God called them gods. Then to whom he has died and his word lives in them.
41:20
They are the sons of God. If you and I by Christ Jesus are joint
41:25
hes of heaven and earth. Demons should not question us when we speak. They should only listen.
41:35
Am I making sense to somebody?
41:46
Second Peter 1 3-4. Before you start thinking that it's for those who have
41:51
prayed, who have spent many years being experienced men of God, can we read together? According as his divine power,
41:57
according to the divine power of Jesus Christ, he has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. He
42:05
didn't say some things. He said, "All all things that are needed for the life you must live and all things that are
42:12
needed to be a God on the face of this earth has been given to you through
42:17
Jesus Christ through the knowledge of him through." You see, until you let God's word abide
42:25
in you and he becomes you.
42:31
The other day a lady was sharing testimony says some people asked her that does he know she
42:37
was she said she showed my pictures and said oh I know this man he comes to our gym to to gym said he he doesn't talk to
42:43
anybody or he has things in his ear he will exercise and he will go home he said ah he's listen to the Bible that's why he is that person comes to church oh
42:51
pastor David you will take the thing from here is audio Bible
42:56
every time I hear God's word I get a different understanding that's why I listen I'm not bored Some of you you read it and you are bored. You feel
43:02
there's nothing you can explore anymore. But every time I hear God's word, something else begins. A new teaching
43:08
begins in my head. When I'm exercising, you don't Sometimes by the time I'm finished one hour, about three or four sermons have been born in my heart. I
43:14
don't even know where to start from. Every time I hear the same verse again, something new begins in me.
43:22
So then I come to understand Jesus said if my word abides in you then shall you
43:28
ask anything of me and it shall be granted unto you.
43:35
So you need to come to that place to understand that through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and
43:42
virtue. If you're a Christian there's no shame for you. Listen even your mistakes not a shame. Trust me even your sins
43:49
don't end up as a shame. Listen to me carefully. You have been not you have not been called to be disgraced. You
43:54
have been called unto glory and good works. Virtue talks about good works.
44:01
Your whole existence is to do good things in this life. That's why he brought you into the grace.
44:08
That your life will be glorious and not a disgrace.
44:15
There's a song that was being sung some time ago. People say if I don't pray the devil make a mess of my life. That's not
44:20
gospel. That is satanic decreement. Don't decree it.
44:26
It's just a song to encourage people to go and and or to tell people you must pray. But it doesn't bring the divine
44:35
strength that you need to pray. It doesn't. It gives you a helpless state of thinking that until you are always
44:41
soaked up in prayer, you cannot affect change.
44:47
Yes, prayer is important but the only reason we pray is so that
44:52
as Christ Jesus we will exercise our godliness. The Bible says son said through the
44:58
knowledge of him and what knowledge is he talking about? He said through what great and precious promises and that by
45:04
these you might become the partakers. Are you there?
45:10
No. No. Are you are you following what I'm teaching this morning? Listen listen. Everything you need to be
45:15
like God in heaven is enshrined in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is enshrined in the promises. How do you
45:22
get the promises? Until you read the word. Until you read the words and believe the
45:27
word, you cannot access the promises. And within those promises is the power
45:34
to be God on earth. It says great exceeding great. We have
45:40
been given exceeding great and precious promises that by these we might be partakers of the divine nature having
45:48
escaped the corruption that is in this world through lust through true desire.
45:55
Are you with me? Why does Bible say that?
46:03
You see, you want to become rich, but your pursuit of wealth should not be
46:08
driven by desire. It should be dri driven by the promises of God. Hello,
46:16
take your time. When Solomon stood before God, he asked a question that was very God
46:23
said, "What do you want?" when he got God's attention, the guy didn't pray about his demons and and problems. He
46:30
said when he became king, he realized that Israel wasn't a normal nation to rule. Wasn't normal. And his father
46:37
David was helped by God. And he didn't want to go in thinking that he knew. He needed God's help. Said, "I need
46:43
wisdom." Look what he asked. I need wisdom to govern these people. He didn't say that I need authority or power. He
46:49
said, "I need the wisdom of God to govern these people.
46:56
Then God gave him wealth and other things. God gave him all the
47:02
physical things he needs on the face of this. You want to be rich. Why? Because you want to go for holidays in Dubai. That's not why God answers prayers.
47:10
You want to travel because you see you want to make money and come and build a house and put your mother in. That's not why God answers your prayers.
47:17
You want to get an answer for your traveling, stand on the word of God. You want to get an answer for your wealth?
47:24
Stand on the promise of God concerning that. Why do you think I worry people about Titan and those things? Why do you
47:30
think I do those things? You think I'm I'm just, you know, if you've noticed me, I'm more about obedience because I
47:35
know now when we stand before when I'm praying for you in the spirit and I ask God to bless you. I'm going to say God
47:41
because he's a thigh prayer. Because when you bless him, he blesses your church. This is this is why heaven must
47:47
hear and answer you.
47:55
If heaven draws your bank, the money you give will become your feeding fee in heaven. Heaven draws your
48:01
bank account statement.
48:10
Hallelujah. But what you have what you have shown is what you
48:16
reap measures pressed down shaken together. So there are certain things some praying if you pray with me for we
48:23
declare say Lord by the reason of our fighting. Let the heavens let opportunities open. Let doors open that
48:29
only us can walk through. Because you see the powers of the
48:34
heavens and the earth they only respond to God's word. They fear God. They don't
48:39
fear me. They don't fear you. I keep telling you we don't understand. There are powers of pr principalities that
48:46
don't fear your anointing. You must understand every oil you have
48:52
has a purpose, a work it does. It cannot go beyond that.
49:00
Are you understanding what I'm trying to say? See, when you join prayer towers, it
49:05
make you feel like as if you can force God to do everything through prayer. You command God move.
49:12
Then several years of not moving. They are still praying several years. You see, God is sovereign.
49:20
God is sovereign. If he doesn't want to do it, there's nothing I can do about it. I can only
49:26
plead. I can only beg by the blood. You see, when I come in the mercy of his son, Jesus Christ, he will hear me.
49:39
And so, tell somebody, know the word of God. Access your godliness through the word
49:45
of God. Some of you remember every song of shat here. If we start singing that that
49:52
lumba, some of you can sing all the 52 or 72 hit records that that Lumba has
49:57
made, but you can't remember Bible verses and you want to get answers in prayer.
50:03
Hey, a famous will say part-time Christian trying to fight full-time devil. The devil is a full-time devil.
50:10
He's not part- time. You are a part-time Christian. How do you fight him?
50:16
the things that gives you power over forces of darkness. You believe you don't want to hear. You are busy doing other things. You don't want to grow in
50:23
them. You don't want to be rich in God's word. So you know what to say or do in your marriage.
50:31
But you believe when you go to every prayer and the anointing is poured upon you and some prophet prophesy the problem will solve. That doesn't work
50:37
that way. They won't tell you.
50:50
Hebrews 11:3 says, "Through faith we understand that the wells were framed by
50:56
the word of God so that the things which are seen are not made of the things which do appear."
51:03
So if you're a God, create the world you want. Stop blaming your father and mother. My father is poor. My mother is
51:10
poor. My father was never a Christian. Ancestral curses. Stop blaming them. Are
51:15
you born again? Have you seen Jesus Christ as Lord and personal savior? Have you become the joint heir of God?
51:24
Tell somebody exercise your godliness.
51:36
It's doesn't matter where you have come from. It's what you have been made in Christ Jesus we are focusing on.
51:50
[Music]
51:57
You have the final say, not them. Job 22:28 or say, "Thou shalt also
52:05
decree a thing, and it shall be established
52:13
unto thee." Tell somebody, "What have you decreed?"
52:19
Ask the brother what have you decreed. You are here believing God for a visa.
52:24
You not decreed it. You are here asking God for favor. You have not decreed it.
52:33
Says you. He didn't say your pastor. He didn't say your prophet. He said you shall decree a thing. When you're a righteous person, you shall decree a
52:39
thing and it shall be established unto thee and the light shall shine upon thy
52:44
ways. In case you still find this difficult, let's go to Genesis chapter 1 verse
52:50
three. When God saw the chaos, are you in a problem in your life? Do you need mital
52:57
breakthrough? Do you anything you need? Anything that is a problem you are praying about, the first thing you do is
53:02
you speak to it. Genesis chapter 1 verse three. Let's
53:07
read. And God said
53:13
this part I like Jesus the more. When Jesus got out from the storm, he spoke the answer and not the prayer.
53:20
They saw the problem. They were so afraid. He saw the answer. He says, "The answer to the situation we need is peace
53:28
and stillness." When God saw that the earth was void,
53:36
without form, and the darkness had covered the entire earth,
53:42
what did God say? Let there be light. And there was light.
53:52
Number three, for a righteous man, praying righteously
53:59
is an opportunity to demonstrate your understanding. You see the type of word of God you will quote in prayer shows
54:07
your understanding or you don't know
54:14
if we give you a topic that you should pray against those who
54:20
take your name to shrines and those things what verse would you stand on to pray
54:27
with me you should know if you ever prayed with me before you
54:39
Come pray with me the month of December of September starting from Sunday. God will be your help. Amen.
54:46
You see the forces of evil can only be stopped
54:53
based on the knowledge you have and the understanding you have in God's word.
55:03
If the sons of had answered and said Jesus Christ was is our Lord and personal savior. If they've answered to
55:09
the demon, we are sons and daughters of the most high God through the death and resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ. The demon would have obeyed. The demon
55:16
asked a simple question. Make your statement who you are of what do you understand of the name
55:21
Jesus you have commanded me to go by. They didn't have said
55:29
the Bible said the demon beat the when I when I read that part I I read over and over said no this not possible. So the
55:35
way the Bible describes he beat them that they left the room naked and with s
55:45
I don't know whether the guy just locked the door. The guy went to the door and said when they were praying for him, the guy went to the door and locked the door
55:50
and said, "Um, the Jesus you mention I fear. I know the
55:55
poor you mention, I know, but who are you?" When they didn't have an answer, the guy beat them. He beat them and all
56:01
their clothes were torn. They were full of sauce and they ran out naked. The guys ran out naked.
56:12
huge disappointment for them.
56:19
Proverbs 15:2 says, "The tongue of a wise uses knowledge rightly." Listen,
56:26
listen, listen. People are knowledgeable, but they can't use knowledge rightly.
56:34
Sometimes you look at politicians or people in public offices
56:40
they have degree oh some of them the degree they have you can only dream of having they are mostly
56:47
qualified PhD M's degree give them the job they cannot apply the knowledge they have used am I lying
56:55
now am I lying they believe in reward more than the
57:04
It's not an insult to anybody. The Bible said, "The thumb of a wise person
57:10
uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools, they only speak out foolishness.
57:21
The devil comes to Jesus to tempt Jesus on the mount after 40 days and 40 nights
57:28
of hunger. The devil didn't come after the prayer. He came when Jesus was hungry and there was no food. Please remember that
57:35
said Bible said Jesus went to prayer and fast for 40 days and 40 nights. Then the
57:41
Bible follow said and he hungered. Listen that means the guy was desperately looking for food. There was
57:46
no food.
58:08
Jesus.
58:18
Oh word of God that justify that. Jesus said to him, "Man must not live by
58:26
bread alone, but by but what? But by every word of God." There was no known
58:34
word of God that justified
58:39
him to do that. He used knowledge in the right way.
58:50
I keep saying that if you rightly apply knowledge, you're a wise person.
58:59
As a pastor, I have a great dream. When I go out, people talk, they think I'm mediocre. People think I like small
59:05
things. That's how people see me sometimes.
59:10
People talk a lot of gibberish. They have no idea the plans I have harboring in my spirit. They have no idea when God
59:17
gives me the right timing to go, what I'll do. They have no idea. But they
59:23
judge me based on that. I'm okay. They don't understand why I do what I do
59:29
at what time I do it. Because you walk with me, I'm always looking for an opportunity
59:36
to apply God's word rightly. Why? I understand my godliness. And if I
59:43
do anything outside the right timing and the right knowledge,
59:49
I am not exercising my godliness. I'm going the other way.
59:59
Do you know I'm a man of God? because I'm a man of God.
1:00:34
without tangible basis. So if you want a husband, you have never
1:00:39
asked on a basis. If God gives you a husband right now, what will you do?
1:00:45
So if you are the reason why some men hate God, you know some so many men hate God. You were perfect until you became
1:00:53
married and you went to church. Then hell began in their life.
1:01:00
Hello. Some of you the reason why some men may never marry again
1:01:07
because you failed to be the help God brought in their life.
1:01:14
Now, let's move from women and go to men also. Some of you men, you're the reason why some women cannot stay home. They
1:01:20
always want to be in the church because when they stay home with you, they either poison you or beat you to death
1:01:27
because
1:01:35
That's not how it works.
1:01:49
acquired.
1:02:12
24 hours.
1:02:20
Do you know that your life is in the hands of your wife as a man? You want to do anything stupid, do it
1:02:26
behind her, not in front of her. Now even listen, do you think that your
1:02:32
partner is so good they cannot do evil? Every man is capable of evil.
1:03:10
So those desires in your heart. Some of you desire certain things walking around you see somebody's Bentley. Ah chal this
1:03:16
the guy I want to buy God in the name of Jesus I claim it. Claim what?
1:03:21
On what basis do you claim the Bentley? And if per say God God is to give you a Bentley would it end up in your
1:03:28
righteousness? Why? How would you put petrol in it? Do you think it runs on one gallon petrol?
1:03:34
You think it runs on two three gallons fuel? The maintenance cost alone, what do you
1:03:39
think it will cost you? When I started driving a 4x4, I thank
1:03:45
God that I had a saloon carous
1:03:56
when I was younger, my bishops, they bring their car to come for for repair.
1:04:01
I said, why we leave our crying car? You have no idea the maintenance alone. Why when he goes for maintenance one week
1:04:08
7,000 50,000 how oil change when I got my second
1:04:18
car I enter they want to 05
1:04:41
million cities.
1:04:48
Some of you are desiring things that if God gives you either you will die young or go mad.
1:04:56
Some of you you want a rich boyfriend. It is good. Some of you want a boyfriend who can pay you in dollars. It is good.
1:05:02
Oh, but if you get how would it happen Sunday? I'm not saying that Abigail is
1:05:08
like that. Let's say Abigail is dating a multi-millionaire. The multimillionaire is going on a Sunday lunch in London.
1:05:15
God expect God expect come and lead worship here. Will she come
1:05:26
landing flight? Are you joking?
1:05:34
Big program this
1:05:46
door does that close the doors to God in life.
1:05:51
It close the door to God completely. When you meet rich people, very rich
1:05:57
people who are influential in society, they don't like God. When you are too much liking God, they don't like you and
1:06:03
they don't want to bring you into their circle because the things they are willing to do, you won't do and they won't do and there will be trouble.
1:06:11
But you are desirous to be like them.
1:06:17
Proverbs 10:32, the first verse that the lips of the righteous know what is acceptable. They know what God approves.
1:06:30
As a man of God, I've heard things can come to you and say,
1:06:37
"I if you're a pastor, you're not wise and the spirit of God is not in you."
1:06:45
Because people can pay you to let you do the wrong thing. Some people they want to do the wrong thing the right way.
1:06:56
remember this and among human beings people don't give for giving sake
1:07:02
listen if you have 100 people in the church only 1% is giving so that God will bless them don't joke yes you said
1:07:09
it and they came but they are giving is for influence you're a political candidate people are
1:07:14
giving you money free of charge why do you think they are giving that influence
1:07:21
are you
1:07:33
Jimmy, you are not a sensible face. You go before God said, "Father, by the power
1:07:39
of the Holy Ghost, I bring judgment against this woman and command death. We
1:07:44
are not assassins. We are not hired killers.
1:08:00
outside the church. We don't do those things in the church because
1:08:09
you know the reason why I say those things on this because I don't want it to repeat itself
1:08:18
because every man has their temptation. There's a time somebody will come they will ask you cannot say no.
1:08:32
First one,
1:08:43
look, I know I'm anointed. I know I cannot be charmed. But one day, a member of this church saved my life.
1:08:54
saving my life. I highly respect her.
1:09:01
Yes. One day
1:09:13
to win my heart and affection forever.
1:09:24
that few seconds change everything.
1:09:31
It doesn't matter. I've seen people
1:09:38
there are other things you cannot see because God hasn't allowed it to be seen.
1:09:45
God hasn't allowed it to be seen. Sometimes
1:09:57
from an accident or sometimes why you not coming to church.
1:10:14
So the lips of the righteous knows what is acceptable. I was sharing that testimony with one of
1:10:20
my mothers. Everything you do in this church, I see you. Never think I'm blind. The main
1:10:26
fact I'm not going around saying, "Sir, I see this. I listen.
1:10:32
Father, permit me." You talk about the giftings of the Holy Spirit by the grace of God. I don't know which one I can
1:10:38
operate. Discernment, vision. I don't know what I can't I can even descend the thoughts of
1:10:44
people as sometimes when I'm preaching the things I say looks as if I'm your head
1:10:50
some of you the things I will say looks mater of thoughts when I preach I sometimes
1:10:56
put together all the giftings in God because I am trying to deliver he has not called me to deliver the gifts but
1:11:02
his word so I must channel all my potentials and abilities in within that word
1:11:10
I Don't teach some other sermon. Stand somewhere. Now I come and demonstrate I'm powerful. That's not how this thing works.
1:11:18
First John 5:14 15 said, "And this is the confidence that we have in him that
1:11:23
if we ask anything, not some things. Yes, you are in love with a certain
1:11:29
man." Yes.
1:11:34
He said he didn't say some things I will ask. He said, tell somebody anything.
1:11:39
Tell somebody anything. Anything. I don't know what you want. What do you want? Is it marriage? Is it an affair
1:11:46
with a billionaire? What do you want in this? I don't know what you want in this life. But I am saying I'm putting
1:11:53
particular emphasis.
1:12:00
Said anything according to his will.
1:12:06
Conditionality. If it can be on the will of God,
1:12:11
you get some want to marry a pastor. But if God gives you a pastor,
1:12:21
do you think it's easy to marry a pastor for 17 years as my wife has married me?
1:12:27
It's not all glor. Sometimes she hate her own husbands because
1:12:37
that she sit and tell me I think you care more about the church than me than your children. It is true cuz compare
1:12:45
commitment to certain things you are failing in certain areas.
1:13:04
[Music]
1:13:16
doesn't work against his people.
1:13:21
Hello. The only way God will take one something
1:13:27
from somebody and give it to you is what you can manage it better. The reason why God took away from Saul's house
1:13:35
the heritage of a king to David's house was the difference that one knew that
1:13:41
God was his boss than the other.
1:13:51
Prophet
1:13:58
Samuel you people are not paying attention intentionally ask that you're not paying attention.
1:14:03
When God told Samuel that s Paul have done this and that that and and Samuel came to tell Paul Saul Saul did not ask
1:14:13
God forgiveness said stand with me and pray for me. Let
1:14:19
everybody know I've done the right thing. God said what do you think was the people that chose
1:14:24
you? I made you king. So if you have done something wrong you didn't even find it wise to ask for forgiveness in
1:14:30
my presence. It was Samuel who later went to God said
1:14:36
God show him said then God said please you cannot pray for somebody's forgiveness the person must ask for his
1:14:42
own forgiveness I have decided he will no longer be a king over my people I have taken from him and given to the
1:14:48
house of David when David sinned David wasn't busy trying to appease the people David entered the room and said God you
1:14:55
I have sinned against only you who said only you he had killed somebody's son he had killed somebody's husband
1:15:02
David wasn't busy trying to apologize. He was busy crying to God.
1:15:18
When public sentiment was high against David, David was busy seeking God's mercy. God said, "I swear to you, you
1:15:26
and your generation will sit on this throw forever. You understand the principle, the will, the acceptable will
1:15:32
of God." The secret why you are not getting answers to the wishes you have in your
1:15:38
heart. You are asking it wrongly. You are desiring it wrongly. So if God gives
1:15:44
you Kaiser right now, how will Kaiser's life be blessed that you were there?
1:15:49
He's not beating every woman who comes around. He's not cursing everyone who comes around him. How better a life will
1:15:55
his life be? Will you love him? Will you understand him? Will you support him?
1:16:01
Will you help him do what God wants him to do in life? Would you be willing to put yourself second and support him? If
1:16:09
you like the work of God I've done so far, you cannot ignore that my better half, my wife has been an important part
1:16:16
of that work. You cannot ignore that my sons and daughter have missed days I
1:16:21
could have been with them, have missed opportunities and money I could have spent on them for God's work.
1:16:28
Are you willing to pay that cross or to use an opportunity to make more
1:16:34
money? Everything is about opportunity to make money or a chance to get fame.
1:16:41
Romans 8:26-27. Likewise, the spirit also helps our infirmities. For we know not what we
1:16:48
should pray, what we should pray. Please pay attention to what I'm teaching here. Very important. Listen. But the spirit
1:16:54
itself maketh intercessions for us with groanings which cannot be authored.
1:17:01
Listen, Paul is saying that so does the Holy Spirit help us in our inability
1:17:09
because we do not know how to pray acceptably before God. Are you there? So
1:17:16
praying as prayer isn't tong [Music] that's not what he was saying. Please
1:17:23
pay attention to the word I'm reading. He said, "Likewise, the spirit also helpeth our infirmities, our
1:17:29
inabilities, our weaknesses. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought
1:17:34
to." So, we've been praying all right, but we've been acting wrongly. We've been doing it wrongly. We've been doing outside the will of God.
1:17:42
But the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings that
1:17:47
we cannot speak.
1:17:56
[Music]
1:18:08
So, okay, let me give you another what you feel is exactly what you're going
1:18:14
through. If you're in pain, opinion different. If you're elated and excited,
1:18:19
opinion different. If you are, you you understand where I'm coming from, don't you? You don't you follow what I'm
1:18:24
trying to teach. I want to jump to the next one. Are you there? Okay, good. It's loaded. So, listen. In the same
1:18:29
way, he said the spirit makes access in us to understand
1:18:34
what is important to pray about and how to ask it.
1:18:40
So, the 27 explains further what he meant by the 26. He said, "And he that search the hearts knoweth what is in the
1:18:48
mind of the spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints of God
1:18:54
according to what?" Does he make any intercession at all? But according to what?
1:19:17
And I you feel the passion to pray over your finances or something is the Holy Spirit who is what working in you so
1:19:25
that you will feel you have the passion and desire to do that thing. The Bible
1:19:30
says in in in Philippians 2:10, it is God that works in us both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Number four.
1:19:39
Number four. I think it's the last one. Number four. Last point, then I jump to my final statement. Listen. Number four.
1:19:48
The righteous. Who prays righteously? The reason why they pray righteous is
1:19:53
because they enjoy the labor of prayer. Ah, every righteous man enjoys prayer.
1:19:59
That's why Jesus could always pray. Part of righteousness is praying.
1:20:04
But I think the only thing we understand in prayer is
1:20:11
that's what we understand as prayer. The righteous man is always praying. I
1:20:17
used to annoy my wife sometimes when we are talking. I'm still praying. When we are deciding sometimes so praying when
1:20:22
there's a problem I'm praying. I ask you a question. Answer. How are you praying?
1:20:27
I'm She knows I'm praying because I'm bubbling my mouth. I'm not saying anything but I'm babbling. I'm not
1:20:32
shouting. I'm not screaming. I'm not I've not closed my eyes. I'm looking at her but I'm praying.
1:20:40
When the Bible says pray always, you cannot pray always and live. Huh?
1:20:45
You are driving and you are closing your eyes, you pray, you have a car accident. But Bible say pray always. You at work,
1:20:52
your boss expects you to to what? To work and you are praying, it will
1:20:57
bring trouble. But you can be praying always as a Christian. How?
1:21:02
The things you meditate in your heart is prayer. You know that right? The things you think about is prayer. The things
1:21:08
you pray and alter is also prayer.
1:21:15
Prayer is our private place or room of architecture where we weave.
1:21:20
We make arrangement things that should happen. We build
1:21:26
and set the we tear down, rebuild, enforce and set things that we desire in
1:21:33
divine order. I desire money, but it must come at a certain divine time and
1:21:38
order. I desire opportunity. It must come at a certain divine time and order.
1:21:52
In prayer, we enforce godly principles and adjudicate divine purposes.
1:22:22
So you are enforcing that principle. The door of opportunity has opened to
1:22:27
you. Another person wants to stop you. The Bible says
1:22:33
that he will open the windows of heaven. He didn't say for others but for you.
1:22:38
So every competition against the access you have
1:22:44
is removed. Just that statement that person will chant command and do things. They don't
1:22:50
happen. They don't understand why. Why?
1:23:01
Let me ask you a question. How do you think
1:23:07
my life would have been if not for God? The things I say. Do you know that
1:23:13
malams and shrines listen to us? You don't know. They even try to make us their friends
1:23:20
on social media groups.
1:23:40
the things I preach about with boldness. If only they could destroy me.
1:23:49
Look at me, church. The Bible says there's no enchantment. There's no definition against the chosen
1:23:56
of the Lord.
1:24:09
There is no enchantment against the chosen of the Lord. Once you become a righteous person, you become God's
1:24:15
asset. But we pray sometimes I tell you to declare that nothing outside the word of
1:24:22
God can have effect on you because there's no word of God that will curse you who walks in righteousness. There's no word of God. Are you there?
1:24:33
When you pray, you also need to enforce that law in my home, in my blood generation, in my children's life, in my
1:24:39
mother's life, in my family. Enforce that word of God in your families.
1:24:46
Enforce it. This is why you have to love prayer. Declare it instead of spending
1:24:52
time with your PlayStation and Xbox and playing pew pew pew pew for long hours. You can pew pew pew the devil. Pew pew
1:24:59
the things that can counteratt attack you in the future. Set precedence for
1:25:04
good in your destiny. Apply blessings that have been prayed
1:25:10
over you. Enforce it
1:25:16
instead of spending the whole night telling I love you. Cut the coil. Won't you cut the core? Me I won't cut the
1:25:21
core. Oh, sleep. I want to sleep. I'll go to church tomorrow. Why?
1:25:34
hosted. All manner of stories.
1:25:46
that any man who comes into my life will be blessed. Any man who becomes my
1:25:52
sweetheart or whatever it is, his things must prosper.
1:25:59
Declare because you are a woman of virtue. You are a blessing to that man.
1:26:05
Declare
1:26:22
What have you invested in your own life? Asset that they must keep you.
1:26:29
Spend your time wisely.
1:26:35
Enforce godly principle. Adjudicate divine purposes.
1:26:55
1 Thessalonians 5:17, pray without ceasing.
1:27:05
You know something? There was something my sister told me when I told her I wanted a baby girl.
1:27:11
This is what she told me. My own sister of blessed memory. He said, "Dave, this
1:27:16
this is what works. I'm older than you. I'm going to teach you. Before you make love to your wife, pray and ask God that
1:27:22
let this one turn into a baby girl." It works. Some of you think that God about
1:27:29
your sexual life and those things God should be. People have told you that even angels don't even look at you. It's a lie.
1:27:37
Tell somebody is a lie. You you think what you did in your room is hidden from God. You a joker papa.
1:27:44
It's like video he's watching. All the things you have been doing the who are and the Chinese and acrobats
1:27:51
you have been doing. God sees. The angel saw you. Stop joking.
1:27:57
You think when you enter to a hotel room and you put big curtains there, God did not see. He saw you. Tell somebody he
1:28:03
saw me. Oh, he saw me. He saw me. He saw you.
1:28:15
Listen, but it is not shameful to take everything to God in prayer.
1:28:23
Your weaknesses, your failures, your shame. Some of you are so invested in love with
1:28:30
somebody, but you don't know the future. You need to take that matter to God. Let the Lord, Lord, I've invested in
1:28:36
this person. Let them overlook my love and my commitment.
1:28:41
I've spent my time. I would I live with this man. I'm washing his clothes. I'm cleaning his room. I'm showing love.
1:28:48
Father, don't don't let my labor be in vain. Let him see. You can pray that about your husband. You can pray that
1:28:55
about your boyfriend. Some of you you invest so much in a man and they just go
1:29:01
because you have not you have not what adjudicated divine principles over your marriage and your life.
1:29:08
So you allow the devil to play because I am telling you as long as I live I know one day I'll stand judgment before
1:29:14
God and I'm saying that out of scripture. Bible says bring all things to God in prayer. The Bible didn't say
1:29:20
take some out. The Bible didn't give you room to call someone holy, some impure. The Lord says, "Bring everything to God
1:29:26
in prayer." Everything. He means everything. That last that guy you've been crashing
1:29:32
over, that guy the minute you see then you want to get out of your chair and fall down.
1:29:37
Sometimes, you know, when you're in love with somebody, everything that comes out of your mouth is foolishness.
1:29:47
The the frontal part of your brain shuts down and then the other part is working. So, you are saying Jeep things you don't
1:29:53
understand. But you truly love the person. So adjudicate God's will in
1:29:58
every situation. Pray every situation. Pray. Every situation you find yourself. Pray. When
1:30:05
you are angry, pray when you are hurt. Pray. When you are in love, pray when you are hungry. Pray. When you are,
1:30:10
pray. When you wake up in the morning, you are baffing. Pray. You are sitting on the L for a few minutes. Pray. Find
1:30:17
opportunity to set divine order in things in your life. Every opportunity you have, speak.
1:30:23
When Jesus woke up, he didn't say, "Let me stretch." And many hours. No.
1:30:30
When the opportunity presented himself, the man spoke the solution.
1:30:36
Turn your Bible to James 5:16. The final part. The effectual tell
1:30:41
effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avail much.
1:30:51
That word is a lot of jumbled English but what it is. The word effectual means never ceasing.
1:31:00
Fervent means intended, purposeful, determined prayer
1:31:06
of a righteous person. Not of anybody of a righteous
1:31:11
does wonders. It does great things.
1:31:17
Do you need further explanation on this one? I know. I know you can understand this. Ephesians 6:18, praying always
1:31:23
with all prayer. I've taught all prayer before. If you never go to my YouTube page, you'll get
1:31:29
them types of prayer. This is I've preached Facebook. I think they're also there.
1:31:34
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit and watching there onto with all perseverance and
1:31:41
supplication for all saints. Praying alone is alone and not in
1:31:48
groups. Praying alone and not in groups is good. Knowing when, where, and how to
1:31:54
pray helps develop our spirituality. So do not put prayer on hold until you
1:31:59
go to a prayer camp to pray. Do not postpone your prayer life and attitude until you find opportunity to
1:32:06
pray inside the church. Pray always. When you are cooking for your husband, pray. Some of you speak over the food.
1:32:12
Let this food give my husband good health. Let it cure eat. Is it E or the erectile
1:32:20
dysfunctions? Let this food enter his heart. Let him love me.
1:32:40
You find opportunity every time you are praying. Psalm 33:1, "Rejoice in the Lord, oh ye
1:32:48
righteous for praise." The reason why you can pray always and never get tired as a righteous and enjoy the labor is
1:32:55
that in within prayer is praises. Tell some praises and worship. So when we talk about prayer, you study, you pray,
1:33:02
prayer, you never worship God, you never praise God. It's wrong.
1:33:19
How many of you actually spend time to worship God in your houses? member of this church
1:33:28
so busy but your spirituality that brings the
1:33:34
presence of God is that
1:33:40
you see you can worship and worship and worship God and his presence will come and God will mentally ask you what do
1:33:47
you want and that one thing you speak about is 100% answered
1:33:54
As a young man, I got down from a car at Star Junction. There was a lady in front of me, one of my my wife's friends
1:34:00
mother. She was in front of me. She couldn't walk. But I was worshiping and I would
1:34:06
not even walk. I'll be as if I'm not in a hurry. I would
1:34:11
worship and worship and worship and worship and worship and worship.
1:34:17
I will worship She had knee problems. She couldn't climb the hill. She worship and worship
1:34:24
and worship. When we got to when I was going past her house, she was standing in front of us.
1:34:38
[Music]
1:34:50
Worship is prayer. Praise in his prayer. You are a child of God. Don't spend
1:34:56
hours reciting worldly songs. Spend hours worshiping God.
1:35:04
You go to the gym, nothing stops you from putting some nice worship or praise songs in your ears. Nothing stops you
1:35:10
from putting an audio Bible in your ears and listening to every word of God that
1:35:16
comes into your spirit because part of your righteous life is
1:35:21
your attitude to prayer and to worship and praise.
1:35:27
Now the last slide as I close my sermon. This is how you can pray righteously
1:35:34
like Jesus prayed. From what I have taught you, draft this understanding that prayer becomes a
1:35:40
relational activity. How you think and come before God. So
1:35:47
when Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord's prayer, he said, "Our father, relationship wise, you came as the son
1:35:55
of the living God who carried the nature and the power of your father,
1:36:03
your godliness. He's specific. Not the father who gave
1:36:10
birth to you. Said your father who is in heaven.
1:36:17
Halloweth be thy name. In every prayer find time to worship God. Find time to
1:36:22
praise. Every opportunity of prayer find time. Don't be quick to ask him and go.
1:36:30
You girls let let me you guys anytime you want your girlfriend to do something nice from you. You have to pump her
1:36:36
small. You buy her a gift. You call her, say good things to her ears
1:36:41
and stuff like that. Mommy sent me a video to learn
1:37:04
So every nowadays, every time I see my wife, I'm going to smile and behave well. Hallelujah. It makes their heart feel like they are
1:37:10
loved and accepted. Am I lying? They know, but they want you
1:37:16
to show that capich. In the same way, when you come
1:37:22
to God, God knows you love him, but show it. Show him with some nice worship and
1:37:27
praise and so I'm not saying say h go and speak English you don't understand
1:37:32
I'm saying sing a song you understand express what you feel
1:37:37
don't say you are hiding in this praise don't go and say that sing the song you
1:37:43
understand and worship him with understanding
1:38:01
sing with the Holy Spirit. Be one with his spirit. Invite his spirit to come in you and empower you to pray. Have access
1:38:07
to his spirit when you pray. And then when you are done, put God
1:38:13
first. You see, God has a will for every situation. His will for every situation.
1:38:19
Put him first. enforce the will of God in every situation possible.
1:38:25
It's never God's will that evil should enjoy even one day. It's never God's will that men and women of wickedness
1:38:31
should reign over you. Never. Look for God's word and enforces. Declare it. Speak it.
1:38:45
But don't forget that when you stand to pray, make sure your hands are clean.
1:38:51
Make sure you're forgiving others. When you stand to pray, find opportunity to ask for forgiveness as you also
1:38:58
forgive those who have sinned against you.
1:39:05
And then when you pray, ask God. You see this this part I read I
1:39:10
read and the Holy Spirit said, "Go back and read it again." And I read it a third time and the answer came to me.
1:39:16
When you hear the Lord's said, "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
1:39:22
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread." Again, give us this day our daily bread.
1:39:29
What is the focus of that? Huh?
1:39:35
Yes, provision. But how how do we come to God and ask him for our daily bread? If you appear, if you
1:39:43
appeared before God to ask God, shouldn't you ask God for a truckload of money or a house full of money? Why
1:39:48
should you ask him for what you need today? You know, he thinks about the future.
1:39:54
You know, no, no, I understand what you're saying.
1:40:00
But because you know that God cares for you, he is thinking of your tomorrow.
1:40:07
Even when you ask today, he has your tomorrow in mind. But God doesn't want
1:40:12
you to come before him thinking that. But you have to ask him trusting him
1:40:19
that he is thinking of your good. I didn't understand that part. I read it
1:40:26
again that he said exercise godly trust and faith in asking the need for and
1:40:32
trusting him that he's the pro he that his proven won't run out for you.
1:40:38
His ability to provide for you will not cease. If you came a thousand times and you asked him, he will still make sure that
1:40:44
you got it. Then the final part,
1:40:51
pray righteously. Lead us not into temptation.
1:40:58
You know the Bible says temptation only comes when our own desires
1:41:05
uh leads us into them. And Jesus says that we should pray that
1:41:12
we do not fall into temptation.
1:41:18
What this means is that we should not let times and seasons work against our faith in God.
1:41:30
The Bible says there's a time to be born and there's a time to die. There's time to be planted up and a time to be
1:41:36
plugged down. There's a time for your testimony and a time to wait.
1:41:43
There's a time to get ready and there's a time to run. We fall into temptation when we miss the
1:41:50
timings of God and we miss the moves and dimensions of the Almighty.
1:41:57
So either we are ahead of him, behind him, too far away or besides him.
1:42:05
where we are positioned in the times of God can cause temptation onto us.
1:42:14
Sometimes blessings cause temptations for us. It deepens our uncertainty of tomorrow.
1:42:20
What if tomorrow I don't have more money? But tomorrow I'm no more what I am. Because we've grown accustomed to our wealth, our rich riches, our
1:42:27
education, our statuses. We find it hard to let those status go.
1:42:32
We can't comprehend the timings we are in.
1:42:37
And because we don't understand how God governs the times and seasons
1:42:44
with time and his wisdom, we are eagerly
1:42:50
led astray by the devil and tempt our own souls onto pedition.
1:43:00
But he said one of the prayer of the righteous is that he should pray that he never
1:43:07
tends to be evil. Tell your friend that an evil person is
1:43:12
a good man who has stopped being righteous. Tell them
1:43:25
the Bible says that even we who are evil people know how to give our own children good things.
1:43:32
So evil people are not bankrupt of good.
1:43:37
They just preferred good or turned evil.
1:43:42
And so if you pursue righteousness, he said, pray that God would deliver you
1:43:49
from the path of evil.
1:43:55
Because if you're not careful and you're not able to understand the times,
1:44:01
so many of you give up. You try the good eye, you get tired.
1:44:08
Like some of you are in this church, you tried a good eye, you get tired and you went somewhere and you left the church,
1:44:24
some of you do you know that I was saying the last time that um I'm widely listened by
1:44:32
people and so many people agree with what I say but they are afraid that when they apply
1:44:39
They might not succeed. Let me try and rephrase that. Not succeed as in God will fail them, but
1:44:48
what they trust is the way of the world.
1:44:54
I'm a classic example when I believe that
1:45:00
if you're a Christian, you must trust God and follow his
1:45:05
prescribed word. So many people are not willing to wait for that.
1:45:12
They know that where they are going is evil, but they don't care. See, they must get it now.
1:45:18
They believe now is when they have the power over it. Tomorrow they cannot tell.
1:45:25
And so when God's prescribed way of righteousness seems a good and ideal way
1:45:32
for them it is impractical and something they are unfamiliar with
1:45:38
to try. Do you know why
1:45:45
people come into leadership and they steal money and run away? They saw that as the only opportunity to make money
1:45:50
once and for all. They never believed in reward. They never believed that good ends up good.
1:45:56
They they are not certain of those things. They are certain of the now.
1:46:09
Is because they never believed in the end that good would re render them good back. They saw it as an opportunity to
1:46:16
defraud you, to take it by force, or to be smarter than you. Otherwise, they're
1:46:21
going to lose out. So, when a righteous man prays, he prays against the times that he will not turn
1:46:30
onto evil. Bow down your head and let us pray.
1:46:42
[Music] We are going to pray like Jesus prayed
1:46:49
from today. But we're going to do this with the help of the Holy Spirit.
1:46:55
So this morning we ask God for nothing else but the prayer
1:47:01
spirit that dwelt in Christ Jesus. The ability to pray, the hunger and the test for prayer like never before.
1:47:09
Help us to love to pray. Help us to pray like you prayed Jesus.
1:47:16
This is all we are praying for this morning. A passion to pray,
1:47:22
a commitment to prayer, the grace of God to stand in the gap for
1:47:31
our generation, for our children, for our family.
1:47:38
for our own lives and for our nation
1:47:45
in Jesus name.
1:47:50
Amen.
1:47:56
I want to encourage you to become a member of Favor Chapel International.
1:48:01
We are a church raising generations full of the Holy Spirit.
1:48:09
A people obedient to God and having a passion for good works.
1:48:14
Connect, grow, and serve God excellently.
1:48:20
Please take out an offering for God and exercise the godliness of God in you
1:48:28
by speaking over your finances and securing your finances with the
1:48:34
blood of Jesus that no weapon fashioned against your
1:48:40
finances will stand
1:48:48
in Jesus name. Amen.
1:48:59
Now I agree with the word of God has come out of your mouth
1:49:05
concerning your money. They do not come back to you the same,
1:49:11
but measures pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
1:49:18
that through multiple people, not one, through countless people,
1:49:24
God will bless your life financially. I establish this in Jesus name. Amen.
1:49:36
Shall we call auntie Abby to take an offering for us?
1:49:47
He wants you to give her a song, please.
1:49:56
I love you, Lord, for your mercy never fails me.
1:50:06
And all my days I've been held in your hands.
1:50:13
From the moment that I wake up until I lay my head.
1:50:21
I will sing of the goodness of God.
1:50:31
All my life you have been faithful.
1:50:38
And all my life you have been so so good
1:50:46
with every breath that I have. [Music]
1:50:52
I will sing of the goodness of God.
1:51:02
All my life you have been through. All my life, oh, all my life, you have
1:51:11
been so so good. [Music]
1:51:16
With every breath that I have, oh, I will sing of the goodness
1:51:26
of God. Shall we be on our feet? May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1:51:35
the love of God, and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us
1:51:40
now and forever more. Amen. I will sing of the goodness
1:51:49
of God. [Music]
1:51:55
I will sing of the goodness.
1:52:00
The Lord bless you and keep you,
1:52:08
make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn his
1:52:20
face towards you and give you peace.
1:52:30
[Music] The Lord bless you and keep you and keep you.
1:52:39
Make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn his
1:52:51
face towards you and give you peace.
1:52:59
[Music] Amen.
1:53:07
Amen. Amen.
1:53:16
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the great I am cause his face to
1:53:22
shine upon us. May he be empty cloud by day over us.
1:53:28
shielding us from every arrow that fly by morning or no day.
1:53:34
May he be a pillar of fire by night, preventing every work of darkness and
1:53:40
evil against our lives. May the Lord cause a table to be laid
1:53:46
before us in the presence of our enemies. May the power of the Almighty, the grace
1:53:53
of God Almighty rest mightily upon our lives and press
1:53:58
us. May God whose we are be our shield and
1:54:06
battler, our defense and our strong tower. May God take you home safely and bring
1:54:13
you back a week today full of testimonies, financial
1:54:18
health and blessings. May God bless you and keep you in Jesus name. Amen.
1:54:36
Heat. Heat. [Music]
