Our Life's Testimony

The word of God that is able to change lives.

It's able to reform destinies. The word of God that was used, that same word of God was used to create

the whole universe. You're about to listen to or hear this same word.

The word with sharpener than two edges of sword.

It's even able to penetrate inside barrels that same word.

And I know as you hear God's word, your life will never be the same.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will help us to get deep understanding of God's word

this morning. In Jesus mighty name we pray.

I want us to go back to winning souls again, inviting people to church. Amen.

Mr. Taylor, why don't you try and invite about three girls to church before the year ends?

I'm sure you can do it. It's not difficult. Huh?

Yes, they they require a lot of work as a so invite them and bring them to

church. We could also make a special event and bring them so that it also

rewards them a bit. Amen. So guys, let's all be inviting people to church. Amen.

I want to declare the final part of the prophetic word for the year and that

part of it is that you are going to win. Hallelujah. You didn't say amen. I say you're going

to win. Whenever we we declare prophetic word, I I share

three phases of the word's revelation. The final part I'm sharing for for the

rest of the word of God is that you are going to win. You are going to by the divine hand and help of God, you are

going to stand out victorious as the year concludes. I know it aligns with God's word. The

Bible says that God closes the year with his goodness. Before the year closes, God closes that year with his goodness.

Are you ready for God's word? Lift up one hand with me and say, "Father, let the word of God preached.

Let it meet me at the point of my need in Jesus name." Amen. This morning, I

want to speak on our life's testimony. Tell somebody our lives testimony.

The life you are living is a testimony for which will be weighed in the balance

of things on the day of judgment. The very life you carry today is a testimony

that others will read about and speak of and whether they will give glory to God's name or they will be afraid to

follow God is dependent on the steps you are taking today. Amen.

And so we must understand that God does not save us in vain. If you think salvation is because you and your father

or your mother and your parents were good Christians, salvation is not free.

Salvation is not accidental. Salvation is purposefilled. It tells the

purpose filled. So the purpose of God's salvation is to give us the liberty to serve him willingly.

Number one, he set us free so that in his hope we will choose. We will choose

not that anybody will compel us. we will choose to serve him willingly without

fear or compulsion. Please, are you following what I'm teaching this morning?

Exodus 9:1 tells us that God said unto Moses to go and tell Pharaoh, tell him

that the Lord God of the Hebrews say that let my people go that they may

serve me. Is that in your Bible? Turn your Bible to the book of Luke 1

7-4. The scripture says that he would grant unto us that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might

serve him without fear. Hallelujah. In holiness, meaning to be set apart and in

righteousness before him all the days of our lives. And I need to explain this very part

importantly. When you come to the New Testament, the Bible is telling us that God made sure that we will be delivered

from the hands of our enemies for only one purpose that we might serve him.

Serve him without fear. And the word holiness there means being set apart concentration. That means that

the only thing you respond to is God. You cannot value the world and value God. You cannot be committed to the

world and committed to God at the same time. But that you will prioritize. The word holiness means you'll be set apart.

You'll be set apart for this purpose. Have you seen a soldier before? Who knows a soldier? Have you seen a soldier

before? What what do you see about a soldier? They are set apart to serve their nation

and the constitution. Do you know that they swear allegiance to the constitution of Ghana? So they are

willing to go and die for that same. Even if the government is not paying the world, they will still go. Have you seen soldiers go on strike before? Doctors go

on strike. Nurses go on strike. Pastors can go on strike. Everybody can go on strike. Soldiers don't go. Whether it's

bad or good, their life has been consecrated for service to nation.

Hello. So we can say in proverbial English that the soldier is holy unto

his state. Are you understanding what I'm trying to say? And so when Bible says in holiness there he's saying that

from today all you will give yourself unto is God. Nothing should value more

than God to you. Amen. Let me rephrase this again and tell you

something. When a woman marries and when a man

marries, it is believed that both both of the parties marrying are

consecrating themselves for each other. They are saying that you may not be

perfect. You may not be the best man or woman, but I am promising before God

whose I am that I will love you for the bad days and for the good days. For the

pain and for joy that irrespective of the trials and challenges, I will stand

by you. That's what your marital oath is for. Nothing else.

Hello. And so you are concentrated to your partner. In the same way, when the Bible

talks about us believers, the Bible says we've been betroed on unto God as a

woman has been betroed to her husband. We've been consecrated. We are not meant for anybody else but God. Are you

understanding what I'm trying to say? We are not meant for anything else but our partner. It doesn't matter what happens

on the way. We are just meant for that person.

So Bible says that we be delivered out of the hands of our enemies that we might it's a choice that we might still

serve him without fear and in holiness and righteousness before him all the

days. So until the day we go to the grave our life must practice

righteousness. Number one number two our life must be for God.

Now when God created the heavens and the earth created the tree of the knowledge of

he mane to make a choice

if you choose this thing you are making a choice that lead you to

death and I will will lead you to life.

So one of the things that helps you to understand that scripture is consistent not full of error or making assumptions

is that the themes align. If we say a theme, the

proper reason for it still align in every particular dispensation you find.

If God totally saved you, he will still give you a choice to choose to serve him

or not to serve him. So he doesn't want you to serve him in fear. Not that because he will destroy

you that you will serve him, but he wants you to make a choice that irrespective of all the options

available, God will be the most important, most prime, most loved of all deities in your

life. There'll be none other but him in your

life. This is the reason why the gospel cannot be preached with an intent to

manipulate. And so many people when they get the gospel to preach, they feel it is the

right for them to manipulate. There is a we and them system. There is the they

and the there's the your halves and those that don't have. Many people think

that when ministry has been committed into their hands, it is a ticket of what? Abuse. It's like um you've been

appointed a regional minister or a political appointment. So you are somewhere higher than the rest. So

you're supposed to enjoy better. You are supposed to even abuse the people to the benefit of yours. This is how ministry

is because the gospel still comes to a point whereby the God who saved them

with his holy son Jesus Christ's blood still now gives them the right to choose

whether they will serve him or not. So we cannot preach the gospel intent to manipulate. If you manipulate anybody

listen to me please pay attention if you manipulate anybody to accept Jesus Christ the person will not go to heaven.

So it doesn't matter the crowd in your auditorium. If the people have not taken this decision out of the out of the

sincerity of their hearts, their service is not accepted. Their decision is not

interpreted as salvation before God. If we propagate the gospel with fear,

if we preach like that for people to think that they are going to go to destruction if they don't serve God, we

are preaching the gospel with fear and fear cannot work out faith.

The Bible says whosoever must come to God must believe. He didn't say must fear. The alpha must believe that he is

and he is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him. Am I making sense

to somebody? Let us try as much as possible to understand the word of God properly in

this context. God has no plan, no purpose. God has no arrangement in fear

for his people. So I know there are people, some people love to talk about sin.

I feel like when you preach like that, then you are preaching the gospel. It's not true.

You see, I I I I came to that place to to read most of the sermons of the apostles and none of them came to speak

against him. They came to tell of the kingdom of God, the hope we have in Christ, that he's a better better option

than any other form of idol of worship. They spoke on the subjects that made their lives equality as far as

righteousness was concerned. If you want to do an examination of this, you please, you are kindly read

the book of Acts or if you don't have time to read or get an audio Bible and let it read to you the entire book of

Acts. When the apostles went to preach, Paul went to a city where they were serving a certain idol to the unknown

god. Paul didn't go and tell them idol idol worship will take you to hell. You suffer you. They don't even understand that. Paul came to say the unknown god

you people worship is the god I come to teach. and he began to speak to them of the

mysteries of who Christ is if we don't properly put the gospel in the right context. We cannot be delivering God's

message to anybody. Is the devil trying as much as possible to have a hand foot

a hand foot in the gospel so much that he can manipulate many out of the way of

God. And the church is asleep not able to see this more often. So we don't propagate

the gospel on fear. We don't tell people.

We don't go and tell them that because we carry good news. We don't carry judgment. Are you there? We come

to tell them what knowing Jesus will let them escape. If you want to speak about judgment,

tell them what knowing Jesus, what the blood of Jesus does for them for which they will not stand for that judgment.

Are you coming to a place of understanding what to preach as a preacher? You must come to that place.

God never sent anybody to go and tell them about judgment. God never sent anybody in the New

Testament to go and speak about the judgment of darkness.

We also don't preach gospels with tall tales, lies.

tall tall tales out there. When we were kids, it is known that in our tradition, for example, if they

wanted to preserve the rivers, they told you that the rivers are gods. So on a certain day, we don't go to the river,

we allow the river to rest. Is that not it? They told a tall tale for a good

reason yet defeated a good purpose. So tomorrow when their children find out that going to the river on a Tuesday,

they don't see any gods, they will not believe anything they have said. But instead of telling their children that

we need to preserve this water, it is a source of our life. We need to protect it. We need to make sure that once we

are using it every day, we are all pouring things into it. We all washing from it. We are making unclean. We need to give it one day for it to purify

itself. If we have taught our children this, they will never Bible said teach your child the way you go and when he grows, you will not depart. So we do not

tell tall tales to establish the gospel.

Are you with me? And I believe in this principle as a way of life for everything we do. It's not

limited to the gospel. The book of 2 Timothy the chapter 3:16-17 says all scripture is given by what? Inspiration

of God. And the scriptures that we read, they are profitable to doctrine. So the

doctrine is is a way where we we we teach you till you come to a place of

belief of a way of doing things as being acceptable before God. Okay? So it's the

way of doctrine. like some of the things I teach you in church. So it is profitable for doctrine for

reproof. So the reproof is that when there is a doubt upon something we can make

concrete evidence proof and show of it then for correction. Tell some

correction the scriptures for correction so that errors we don't walk in error. You see there's no such as serving God

anyhow you want to. There's no such as that. That's not how the gospel works.

Why? The Bible says even when he gave some giftings to become apostles, some to become prophets, some to become what?

Teachers, some to become pastors so that we will all come into the unity of the faith. He didn't say so everybody will

do whatever they want. You see, we have a lot of people who've come into the system who've not been called and and

they are making a mess of the system. And when you complain, they just come up and quote half of these scriptures to

keep you shut like, "Oh, let allow it. let everybody do what that's not how the work is.

And when we allow them to be part of it, they would derail they would derail the kingdom of God entirely.

So the gospel for correction whenever we have an error in any way we are doing

anything in the scripture, we should be able to have the same scripture correct us to that way. Is it understood church?

It's for instruction. The gospel is for tell us it's for instruction. How does instruction sound like? Are

there mothers in this house? Have you given your babies instruction before? How does it sound like? Is it a

negotiation? Does it sound like you are commanding the child?

There some things we tell you in scripture. God demands that you take care of your

pastor. Demand. You get what I'm trying to say?

There are times we hear sentences from God's word. The way the Bible has contextually put

it give give and sh

and try and give him. So the gospel is for instruction. When you hear the gospel, it is not Bible said as I heard

the word of God. It was sweet to me. It was bitter to me.

word of God can even cause you to stay home the Bible says several times the people left Jesus Christ they left him

alone to his ways because the kind of gospel the guy was preaching it wasn't acceptable to them

because our human minds work differently doesn't it

says unto right instruction unto righteous iousness. And so when it comes to the instructive part of God's word,

it's so that we walk in righteousness. So it doesn't matter how bad it sounds,

it is meant to bring us to that place where we will be like Jesus Christ. The

Bible says, "So that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly finished unto all good works." Hallelujah.

So the word of God didn't come by anybody sitting down and and teaming together and planning how to say it. No

booklet that they went to read and created and crafted a mo modus operandi for the church or something. No. So the

word of God came by the inspiration of God. Holy men spoke or wrote as they

were inspired by the Holy Spirit. Second Peter the chapter 1 vers 21 says

for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of men but holy men of God

spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. The book of 1st Samuel 12:23-24 says,

"Moreover, as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in season to

pray for you. But this is what he's saying. He said, "Me, I love you guys so

much. I'm always praying for you. May God forbid that I will sin against God by not praying for you, but I will teach

you the good and the right way." That was a quality of Samuel. Someone said,

"Yes, I am an Israeli. I am overly passionate about my people. I'm overly

caring about my people, but I will not make a mistake to teach you a different way that allows you to accept me." He

said, "I will teach you good and the right way."

And what is good and the right way? 24 explained only fear the Lord and serve him. So, we'll come to this. I've taught

on the fear of the Lord beforeh says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. So the fear of the Lord isn't

the fear as in fear when you are terrified of God but is the acknowledgement of God in everything you do and see.

Everything we do is not hidden from God. That God is a part of everything. So that is called the fear of the Lord.

When Bible speaks of the fear of the acknowledgement of God in everything we do. Then the next one is to serve him. So

Sams says that listen the right way the good and the right way is that a man

should believe there is a God in heaven. Number two, the person must serve this God

in truth and with all your heart. The Bible says that God spirit of God seeks

those who would serve him in spirit and in truth. Sincerity.

Sincerity. So God expects nothing but uncompromised love and dedication to

serve him all the days of our lives. Uncompromised.

You want to wake up some of this morning and feel that listen, I'm very tired. As for today, pastor David should give me a

break. as

but no matter how tired you are the minute you hear let us go to God's house so we hear God's word you should feel

energized you should feel what liked is not energized this morning she

should be energized she should straighten her head be willing to hear that gospel you understand what I had to

say I should feel energized to go to miss the presence of God should hurt us

not seem okay that God will understand but but to come Bible said when two or three are gathered he's there I know

that Mrs. Appleo is coming because of Jesus not because of me cuz even when I'm not here Mr. also come to church. Is

it not it? I know that Sean is coming up because of me. I know that you two are coming up because of me. So where two or

three are gathered in God's name, he's there. So when God is there, why do you want to be absent from God?

Are you there with me, brothers and sisters? And so we must come to that place that

God expects nothing but his his that we should all compromisingly love him and

be dedicated to serving him. 1 Corinthians 15:58. Are you with me church? Before therefore my beloved

brethren, be ye steadfast. That means that remain unmovable always abounding

in the work in what? In the work of the the work of who? The Lord.

For as much as you ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

So Paul is saying that beloved brethren, do not make a mistake to fail or to be

absent or to lose opportunity to serve God, knowing that everything you do in

God's house or do for God is not in vain. There's a reward for it. Romans

12:11 says, "Therefore, do not be lazy in business. Be fervent in spirit,

serving the Lord." serving the Lord. Be fervent in spirit.

All that needs to be done in God's house must be done with joy, with

determination, with the heart that says that God, I love you.

Hebrews 9:14 says, "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through eternal

spirit, offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead

works to serve the living God." Listen, Paul is saying this that the blood of Jesus

Christ through the eternal spirit of God had offered himself without spot to

cleanse our conscience from dead works.

For what reason? So that we will serve the living God.

That's a lot of talk about serving God. So let us let us come to what happened.

What? What happened? Go back.

Okay. Thank you. Luke 4:8.

The Bible says that Jesus answered and said unto them, "Get thee behind me, Satan, for it is written, thou shalt

worship the Lord thy God, and him, him only, God only shall thou

serve." So, what does it mean to serve God? I

mean, there's a lot of talk, serve God. Does God want all of us to become pastors? Does God want us all become church

workers? What really does God want us to do? Should all of us be carrying the Bible to go and preach the Bible. What is the service of God?

So, first of all, to serve God means to obey him. We are referring to obedience to God's instructions.

The ability to work in his vineyard. Are you with me? To work in the vine

yard of God. To make sure you a church worker. And finally, to finance his work on the face of this earth. These are the

three pillars on which service of God hinges. Number one, make it an option to obey

God with all your heart, no matter how inconvenient his instruction or word may

sound. Number two, make sure you are involved in building a church for him.

Hallelujah. Church, what do I mean? If today you are a rich person or you have enough, adopt a

church or two. Make sure whilst you are alive, whilst you are alive, God's work

did not fail on the face of this earth. Make sure, tell somebody, make sure. Make sure

if you have an income and it is enough for you to save a little,

make sure you adopt a ministry. Adopt the work of God somewhere or the other.

Not the one that they will take advantage of, but the one that you know for sure that you can control

your own finances and still be able to help God's work.

Cuz all these things that we say and give it a blanket cover, the devil comes in there to make sure that the word of

God is misrepresented and misused. Hallelujah.

And so that is one of the things you must obedience working in the vineyard of God. and

finally financing his work whilst you live. This morning I want to focus on financing God's work in one's lifetime

in one's lifetime. And when you finance God's work, whether you give your tithes, whether you give your offerings,

whether you give special offerings, whether you choose to build a temple for God, whatever you choose to do, you are

serving God whenever your money also goes to help God's work. Amen.

your money also. Not your money only, but your money also. Hallelujah.

Amen. So, financing God's work in one's lifetime. Malachi 3:18 says something

that is worth considering and worth looking into. 380 said, "Then shall the

then shall you return and the sin, be able to tell the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between the

one who is walking rightly before God and the one who is not, between him that

serveth God and him that serves not." So to walk in wickedness is to have a mindset that doesn't follow the

obedience of God. To do what pleases you, to do what you think is right. It is termed in scripture as wickedness.

The Bible says, "Let the wicked forsake his ways. Let him that is wicked abandon his ways.

Let him return unto the Lord who abundantly pardon. For as the heavens are far from the earth, so are my ways

from what? Your ways." He explains what wickedness said. Your ways. When you

live a life where you do things the way you feel, the way you like, the way that

suits you, the way that makes you entirely happy in your own head all the time, you walk in a path called

wickedness. It is not when somebody asks you for some of the food and you don't give them. That's wickedness. When we're

kids, that's how we we were normally mis misinformed. That is wickedness.

So the wicked, the wicked is a a choice of self-love,

a a choice of self approval, a choice of um of humanism more than God. Are you

there? Yes. That's the best way. So So said Daniel returns after he has said he's

going to bless them and and do so many great things in their life. People know the difference between those who serve God and those who don't.

And those who serve God, he says they are walking righteously before God. And those who choose not to w not to serve

God, the Bible describes them as being what? Wicked. Let me say this to those who are

students. It is a blessing to serve God while you're a student. You should know.

You see, when you're a young person, there are so many mistakes that going to come into your life. So many attempted failures and troubles. Serving God

protects you. It protects your life.

In fact, in the book of Malachi, the verses 16 hours, it says that he would forgive your mistakes, your sins

as a man pardons the son who serves him. Some of you have brothers and sisters.

Some of you, your mothers, they love certain one of your brothers and sisters more than you. You can tell they love

you. You see, you know the reasons, the difference is because that person always listens to your

father or your mother. It's all because they love them. Because they made them sad that

because every time the mother says,

"But the one who doesn't complain, who just does everything their mother or the senior or the caregiver instructs them,

you might think that they love that person more than you." In the same way, God is saying that that

is how I will treat those that is how I'll treat those who choose to walk

righteously before me. So being a student, you must t your

money. You must never miss the opportunity to t your money. So being a student, you must never miss the

opportunity to go to Sunday church and to do something in God's house for him. So when others are pointing accusing

fingers at your failures and your shame, there will be a God who say, I did not see that mistake. I pardoned it.

Therefore, there's no condemnation for them who are in Christ Jesus on your behalf.

So many people go to school, they learn. The devil steal away their youth, their future. He gives them a disease, a

sickness, one mistake, one trouble. The devil destroys their lives. But I am

telling you on authority that if you choose as a young person not to stay away from God and to give your all, you

will never fail. No plan, no workings of the enemy against your life will

succeed. What is the work of God? Colossians 3:23

24 explains further by saying that whatsoever you do, whatsoever do it

heartily. was do it from the desire of your heart. Do it wholeheartedly to the Lord. Don't

assume you're doing it for men, but do it for God. Even if you are doing unto a man, do it so much that is from your

heart. Not as if you're doing it for God. You are doing not for man, but you're doing for God. For example, if

the opportunity comes for you to help me, help me as if you're doing it unto God. Don't help me as if you are doing it for me to see.

when opportunity comes for me to help you, I should do it as if I'm doing it unto God and not because I want favor

from you or I want you to love me. So then Paul tells the Colossians, a lot

in life, a lot in life that gets done by done done unto God or in service to God

starts by doing it unto our fellow human beings. Knowing that of the Lord you shall

receive a reward of the inheritance for you serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:3 says, "Therefore, my beloved, be ye steadfast," that means never failing, never changing, always

abounding in the work of God, for as much as you know that your labor is not

in vain. Now it's important for us to understand

this. When it comes to financing God's work, there are principles. That's their principles.

There are these principles God wants applied in any opportunity to serve God

in giving. Number one, it must come from a willing and cheerful heart. The heart

itself must find it as an opportunity to tell God that I love you through the giving.

There must be so much a desire in our hearts to be grateful and thankful to

God for the opportunity given us to give to his work. Number two, we should never

give because we want to have influence or control over the system or over the

person in charge of the work. I'll prove all this with scripture. Number three,

we should never give because we want to have the right to demand accountability

or equity. What do I mean by this? Some people give so that they will sit down.

Others give so that when there's an issue, they will say, "Okay,

So we don't give to God's work demanding accountability or equity in it that our

shares in it. Lastly, it is not a savings account. Giving to God's work is not a savings

account on earth. On earth mean it's not a savings account on this earth.

You can't withdraw from it on earth. Not of necessity or of compulsion. I know

some of these things are a bit hard to swallow but I will try and dissect it simply. 2 Corinthians the chapter 9 to6

9 6-7 says but I say he who will sow sparingly shall reap also sparingly. He

which shall show sow bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man

according as he has purposed in his heart. So let him give. So let him what?

Giving must come from a decision in our hearts. Uh every man has he has purpose

in his heart. So let him give willingly not grudgingly

or of necessity. For God loves

for God prices above. For God cannot do without

a cheerful giver whose heart is in his offering.

2 Corinthians 8:12 says, "For if there be first a willing mind, there be first

what? A willing mind, it is acceptable to that a man hath and not according to

what he has not." So Paul establishes a very important revelation given. Says it

doesn't matter the amount you are given. He says your offering will not matter the amount you are giving if your heart

is not in it. If it doesn't come out of a willing heart, Paul says whatsoever you are

giving to God, you can be giving God six billion, six trillion today. If you feel

like you are helping God, if you feel like

if you think that when giving that money you are looking down on the church or you are thinking any other kind of

negative thought, Paul said it doesn't make your offering acceptable to God. Why did he say that? Is the word of God

saying that? So Paul says, "For if there be first a

willing mind, then it's acceptable. Whatever a man has, whatever a man has

is acceptable." Do you know that offering is not only for holy people and good people

to give onto God is not limited to good people. It's for anybody who come to God's house or anybody who choose to

give to God. Romans 12:8 says, "Or he that exaltth on exot on exaltation, he

that giveth, let him do it with simplicity with what?"

So Paul was telling us about the things we do in God's house. If you have a gift, do this. If you have this, so he

was explaining when it comes to giving, he says, if yours is to prophesy, prophesy according to your faith. If yours is to give exhortation,

encouragement, do it based on what? That grace.

If yours is to give says do it with simplicity. Do you know that today the reason why we

have so many different type of pastors because our hearts don't like to do things simple.

Huh? Today if you go to even weddings you will know for sure that even the MC's have come to realize that the

people. So you go to a wedding

because we don't want to do things simple. We we don't want we don't want what easy want problems every day want

problems. Hallelujah. Amen. We don't want peace. We want problems as a people.

The reason why you go to God's house and people are selling to you frana, people

are selling to you white water. Yes. This is because in simplicity when they tell you to pay your tithe, you will not

pay. You give excuse in simplicity. If they ask you to give an offering, you will give multiple excuse.

So now hear this. Do your offering in

simplicity. Some of you only give when there's something more extraordinary before you give. That is not a good way

to give. When there's a a supposedly more powerful man of God in your church

visiting, that's when you give. Some people to when there's prophecy when they give. Some when there's a miracle

they go to a miracle service and a miracle happens when they ask for 100 million and they will give. But they

have 100 million they they will sit down. they will never give it. But if the pastor calls for that money and

nobody can get up, then they will get so people know if you must give, give out of

simplicity. I don't do it for the show. I don't do

it for influence. I don't do it for anything but for simplicity. I say, "He that ruleth with diligence,

he that showeth mercy with cheerfulness." Amen. Romans 12 the vers 8

I want us to look at something that offering has always had these principles I've told you about principles that come

with giving to Godz 35:5 the Bible says take you from among

um the people an offering unto the Lord whosoever is of a willing heart

conditionality when God sent Moses to take an offering said him.

I said, "Don't force anybody." He said, "Everybody who out of his heart wants to give to God, let him give,

let him bring it and offer the Lord gold, silver, and brass." Whatever they

brought in matter, it's not a gold, it's not the brass, it's not the silver, but that the fact that it came out of a

willing heart, willing and cheerful heart.

Exodus 25:2 speak unto the children of Israel that they bring me an offering. God

instructing Moses of everyone of every man that giveth it willingly

with his heart you shall accept conditionality.

But

yeah, sometimes when when we say all these things in scripture, it's a bit it's a bit of like a command. And

when you give it is in simplicity. God has asked, I have given. It doesn't matter your position. Doesn't matter who

you are. Doesn't matter your caliber. It doesn't matter how much money you carry in the bank. It is out of simplicity. Did God ask? Were you aware that God

asked did you give? Simple. Without a willing heart, do not take

their offering. This wasn't a This wasn't a unique

behavior. This is the way God has done everything before. Now, this is before the Passover.

before the Passover began and after the Passover to build a temple, God established these two things. He said,

"Every time they are to give an offering, let it come out of a willing house." Now, let us try and find out

people who gave offerings and God loved the most. Let's try and find out whether these things are through. I I happen to

have chanced this in the book of Chronicles 1st Chronicles 29:17 to18. And and this is David speaking. This is

David sharing a revelation. King David was teaching Bible. You know the Bible always made us see that David was a

prophet and a priest and the same time a king. Huh? And this is one of the things

that David says when you go through scripture to search the same meaning you will find it all throughout. And that's

what makes David a very powerful person in scripture. Read with me brothers and sisters said I know also my God that

thou has thou triest the heart. Thou triest.

You weigh the hearts of men. And you have pleasure in uprightness.

So when we say someone is upright, they look up to God. They they are righteous people who look up to doing what is

right before God all the time. Says, "As for me, in the uprightness of my heart,

I have willingly offered these things." Now, David wasn't allowed to build a

temple. So what David did is he took an offering several times he was alive

to provide enough money, timber and everything Solomon would need to build the house of God. The guy had faith when

God said it's your son Solomon who built me a house. David kept he didn't go back to fight God. He said fine if Solomon

will build he will build my money. Huh? Solomon didn't use his tutu to build the

temple. David David drew the pattern of the temple. David knew where everything should should be and he handed over to

Solomon. I said, "Follow my instructions and build for God." The Bible said David had over 30,000

drums of gold sitting in warehouses waiting for for it to be used. 30,000 drs of gold.

Solomon didn't come up with money to build God's house. David believed in faith. God needed a church and he was

working day and night even for the future where he not even be alive that the house of God should not fail.

When I read these things, I I was see the people that Bible uses them as

examples. They are not just mere men. They are not like Joe Christians.

These are men who diligently went after God. Diligently.

No wonder God rewards them openly with testimonies of what a great men they were for us.

David said, "As for me, in the uprightness of my heart, I have willingly offered all these things."

David had offered more money than anybody in Jerusalem. And now have I seen with joy

thy people which are present here. David called for an offering. And the people who David was saying that

a lot of people in this town

But they were given money just to put in storage. When David said this, he was still

alive. The temple was built after David died. Not when David was still alive. David never saw the temple. David never

went into the temple to pray. But he provided for everything the temple needed for the work of God.

And God loved David and all the kings that ever ruled Israel. God loved

for life for for a covenant of salt,

an eternal sacrifice, a preservation of my covenant with David

and his family.

Now if you say you're now learning what it was like the

man came to his people and said we need to build a temple for God. Yes. when are we building said God said I cannot build

because my hands are full of blood because I I was a man of war for my youth and I fought up to now but in the

future when another king comes to be a king that person will build a temple for God

they will need timber the Bible said David went to Lebanon and paid for a

land for them to grow timber in the hundreds and thousand they grew

timber for timber to grow David knew it to take 30 to 70 years

for those things already. David made sure that every one of them was paid for workers paid for. So when Solomon comes

to rule, Solomon will just have to go and cut his three and come

when he said this supposedly cockoo story to the people.

Not everybody came to give. Oh, but those that came to give, look at David's description. He said, "I have found I

have seen the people came with joy and with a willing heart to also offer to you."

This is what David said. But you see, this is not enough a revelation. Let's read the 18. You'll be amazed. This is

what David is saying. He said, "Oh Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac of Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the

imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee."

Are you there? I don't know whether you understood what I read. I never knew. David is saying that this has been the

order of giving to God from Abraham to Isaac

till today. We cannot go to God to give to God outside a willing heart

outside obedience and outside what

a sense of service and duty. Oh, reading in a uh translated version

says, "So did Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel our fathers do this

or kept this way of life in their hearts of that to prepare

hearts unto thee." Amen. So now I know that Abraham gave an

offering and God also tried it. David is saying that God will try every offering. God will try every heart that gives. He

will measure. Not it's not what they are giving. This is why when God asked for Isaac's blood, Abraham did not ask God, "Do you

even take blood from human beings?" Abraham realized that wasn't what God was asking for. God was asking for his

obedience. God was asking for his heart, whether his heart will follow him to the depths he's not seen before.

Are you there? The question wasn't about the amount were given or what were given. The question was about the heart

that followed. So God judges every form of giving.

Not giving is is not to not give is not a sin. Rather

is giving wrongly that offends God. Some of you you don't know when you don't

have money. Look at me. Look at me. When you don't have money, we call for an offering. Please don't cry. Don't get

angry. Don't get depressed. Just don't give. Hello.

No. No pastor will say this. No, I know it's hard.

But listen, listen listen. It is not a Bible says if only the heart

is willing, whatsoever a man has is acceptable.

If what you have is nothing, it's acceptable. If you have what you have is more, it's acceptable depending on the

willing heart. Same principle. This is the reason why when the widow

gave everything she had and everything she had was only one

might or two might, it still had value even more than those

that gave gold. Do you know the difference now? Are you now understanding the difference

now?

Do not allow the devil to steal the opportunity of a reward out of it by misrepresenting

every understanding possible that you could get out of obeying and following

God's word to the latter. So many people use several things as an excuse for themselves. But I'm not your church

member. Never seen you before. Never gone here before. Never done this before.

Whenever you attach giving with such kind of alic money or this kind of

attitude, you do not allow God to accept that which you offer to him.

Now let us find out what David said is true. I wanted to examine a few people who gave and whether God tried their

offerings and what it meant to be offended

in the eyes of God with what we give and what is not offense in what we give. Are

you with me? In a few minutes, I'm going to wrap up. Listen with me. Listen with

attention, please. Abel and Cain gives an offering. You remember

two brothers go to give an offering. The first offering in scripture. God rejects

one and God accepts the other. Uh let's find out what truly happened.

Let's read first. The Bible says, "And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought

of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.

And Abel, he also brought of the first lings of his fruit and of the father

thereof. The word father thereof. Do you understand? Uh I'll explain. Let me finish.

And the Lord had respect on listen it was simple. The Bible didn't even go further. It said and the Lord had

respect unto Abel and his offering. But unto Cain and his offering, God had no

respect. And Cain was very angry. and his countenance fell. And the Lord said

unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? And why is thy countenance fallen? If thou had

done well, would I not accept it? And if you have not done well,

know that sin lies at the door, and unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shall

rule over him. Amen. Amen.

So the Bible says two people went to give an offering. Two brothers, one took of the fruit of the ground and gave to God. God didn't accept it not because

the ground was cursed. None of those stories. The Bible said Abel gave the

first links. When you are a farmer, especially when you rare animals, when the first stock you have, the first

sheep, goat or cattle you have, when they give birth, the first time they give birth, that is the strength of your

farm. That's the future of your farm. Animals after the first cycle of

delivery, the second ones are not stronger and healthier.

And so after the first uh uh delivery, most farmers

will sell those for meat. Are you understand what

I'm trying to say? No. Did you understand what I said?

forget. Hallelujah. Are you understanding what I'm trying to say? So he his future of his farm was

sacrificed to God. The word the fat of that means the best of it thereof. Said

the best of them thereof. The future of his farm Abel sacrificed.

And the Bible said why did he do that? Because he had respect on God who had called him to give an offering.

David says something if I will give to God I will not give anything to God that has not cost me said

he said I won't go and disrespect said they said I will not give unto God anything that has not cost me

whatever I have an opportunity to give to God it must be something that is of value and meaning to me

Israel was in trouble God had called David to go and give an sacrifice to go offer burnt offerings and God chose a

field for him to David went there he told the person said God wants me to do a um a sacrifice burn b sacrifice on

this particular field the man said king the land is yours take it David said no oh king take it for free said no David

said I must buy this land he says oh king it is you who sold this land how much was the land David said David paid

three to five times value back on said I cannot give unto God what cost me

nothing. This is a mistake. You see, these were men who knew how to give and move God.

And I'm showing you why how they did it. Now the world has concealed this from

us. So we will not see there is power and service in giving to our God.

So God told him that your brother has done better than you. brother has acted more in faith trusting me with the

future of his farm. Your brother Abel has done far better than you Cain

because he gave me what was the strength of his farm.

So to do that one has to do this out of a will. It's like when you love a girl and

sometimes easy for you to understand when you love a girl and she tells you she has money problems with school fees.

You don't work. You're not a bank manager. Your parents have sent you school fees. You not think twice. Huh?

Will some of you think twice? Because she's your girlfriend. You go and use your your school fees to pay her

school fees. She will finish school and you will trail or you'll be what? Deferred. Your parents think you're

supposed to have finished school. You are still in school. You don't know why.

Carry cement bag. You understand what? Why did you do that? The love that

directed you made you willing to do whatever it took to stand by the person

you love. That is the heart God expects from us. Tell the heart God expects from us.

Well, tell someone that's the heart God expects from us. Tell somebody.

Let us look at Abraham. Are you with me? Let us turn our Bible

to Genesis 22:12. Let's read about Abraham's offering. I said three, so we're doing number two. Abraham's

offering. Genesis 22:12. And he said, "Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither

do thou anything unto him, for now I know that thou fearest God,

seeing thou has not withheld thine only son from me."

When God asked Abraham for his son, Abra asked God, "Are you aware we've waited

over 35 years for this child to be born? Are you aware you yourself told me to

let Ishmamail go that he's not my seed? Why?" Abraham didn't even ask God

questions. The man just kept quiet and began to plan to go and sacrifice him. Even planned how he will even

deceive Sarah. So God has asked the two of us to come and give an offering on the mountain will come back. Sarah knew

that Abraham love his son and he's the only son. So Abraham wouldn't do anything bad.

When Sarah found out what Abraham intended to do, the Bible said after Abraham descended from the mountain, he

and Sarah never married again. Abraham went to live somewhere and Isaac went to live somewhere with his mother.

When Sarah realized what Abraham had nearly done to his son, Sarah was convinced Abraham was a mad man.

So the first separation in the Bible came out of that. You read the scripture when they descended from the mountain. Bible said from that day Abraham lived

somewhere else and Sarah and Isaac live somewhere else. Sarah wasn't going to allow

Isaac even 10 ft near his father again. Because the man may think tomorrow God said go and kill him again.

But it wasn't about the blood that he was sacrificing. It was the willing heart to follow God

to everywhere. Listen when God called him he said come out your out of your father's house

out of your mother out of their kindred. And he did. And everything about his journey with God was was he willing to

go where God will send him. Listen the same Abraham Bible said when Mechisedc

appeared to him and demanded tithe. God had not already spoken to Abraham. Abraham said wait good news. Wait he

called all the people he went to war with said take everybody take your own. When they Abraham said I will not even take a ple out of this. Take it all as

my tithe. Why? He had a willing heart. He had a

simplicity to give him. If God asks for it, God must have it. Are you understanding what I'm trying to say? He

had no influence. He had no strategy. He had no plan. He had nothing outside what

I'm teaching. And these are men. God says they don't

have to appear before judgment. Jesus described that Abraham has mansions in

God's house. He is a friend of God. In Paradisi, he hosted the poor beggar.

Me and you, we are still alive here. We've been told one man who was flesh and blood like us, who was afraid, who

lied several times, married his own wife to another man twice.

A man whose own wife thought he was mentally insane. That man was God's friend. That man has

mansions in heaven. Jesus said that man was in paradise.

And the only thing significant that Abraham did that God ever swore by an oath concerning him was after God asked

him for his son and he willingly through all the bottlenecks managed to take Isaac to the place of the altar. When he

took the knife to kill Isaac, the Bible, an angel appeared and stopped his hand and said, "Do this boy no harm."

And God said now I know this is God's said now I know that you fear me

and God said I swear by myself in blessing I will bless you in then God

began to swear conc said God began to swear by himself said Abraham Abraham so

may say may you say may you say

the final person I want to look at is anas and Sapphira. I said to you people that not giving is

not a sin. It is giving wrongly that offends God. It's giving when you think

that your pastor is asking for too much money. It is giving when you think that the church is always talking about

money. It's giving when you always want have one complaint or the other about money. It's given when you want to manipulate, you want to influence, you

want to control, you want to do this. It's what makes giving wrong and sinful to God.

So the Bible said in Acts 5:1-6 the Bible said there were a man called

Ananas. He has a wife called Sapphira and they sold the land they own.

sell his own land and with his wife they planned to keep part of the money and

they brought the money to they brought the money to the apostle said use it for

whatever you want. Listen listen before you understand this you need to read the chapter 4. The

chapter 4 said there was a man called Barabas. This Barnabas was given a popular name.

He was nicknamed uh no this guy was was nicknamed he was

called Joseph. He was nicknamed Barnabas and the meaning of his name was the son of consolation that every time that they

see him they were consoled that God's work would not fail because this Barnabas had properties and he will sell

them. That's what the Bible said. He will sell them. And the Bible said he will bring everything he has sold for the progress

of the gospel. to lay it at the feet of the apostles to do with it. Read that passage to do with

it as they please. Not to follow the offering, not to ask for accountability. He will constantly do this. And this

thing inspired many people in the church. And Ananas and his wife also wanted to be praised for the same thing. This is why they did it.

Not because they love God, not because they wanted to obey God. They also wanted to copy Barabas.

Huh? And the Bible said, "And they brought the apostles." Peter said to Anaas, "Why has thou why has thou filled

your heart to lie? Why are you trying to give an offering with a different motive and a different

reason to lie to the Holy Ghost and to keep back the part of the price of the land?"

When I read this the first time as a as a Christian, the first question I asked, "Holy Ghost, how's that your concern? Me and my offering, I want to give." I

decided, that's the first I mean, I don't know about you people.

Sometimes Hallelujah.

So I said how does that one concern you? Someone give you money. He think twice about I give you some. He didn't say

give you cry the universe. How I asked that question and by asking that

question it helped me understood God better. And this is what they went. He said, he said, he said, why has Satan

filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost and to keep back part of the price of the land? So whilst it remained, was

the land not yours? And after it was, was it still not yours? It was still in

your hands. Why has thou conceived this thing in thy heart? That that has thou has not lied unto men, but unto God.

Take your time. Can we try and explain this? There was nothing wrong. Peter is saying that there was nothing wrong when

you had the land and it was your own and you didn't give it. Peter said there was nothing wrong when you sold the land and

you had the money. Peter said the point where you made a mistake is that you came to tell God this is all the money

from the sale of the land. Ah hello

the same thing that Barnabas was doing. Are you there?

Peter said you have not lied to men

said because what have you have done you will die today you'll be buried the guy fell died and went then when the wife

came listen so that men will never forget this lesson Peter asked the same

fear came upon them all and them that heard these things and the young man arose bounded him up and went to bury

him." Verse 17 said, "The wife came." The same question Peter asked him. Says,

"Safira, your husband was here. Your husband claims that you people have sold

the land and this is all the money concerning the land that you brought.

Then she said yes. Then Peter said why have you also chose to lie?

The people that went to bury your husband they on the way coming to pick your body and to go and bury you also.

How did somebody's giving landed them up in judgment and another's giving brought

them closer to God and had the respect of God? Every time we give, David said

our giving is judged. Whether you like it or not, whether you

are happy, whether you prefer this teaching I teach or not, the truth is the truth. Every time we give towards

God, God weighs it in the balance. So do understand that giving is a system

of service to God. Giving is a respectable work that God expects us to do on the face of this earth as

Christians. Ecclesiastes 11:4 and I read he that observeth the wind shall not

sow. And he that regard the clouds shall not reap. Are you with me? What are winds?

If you look at your circumstances, you will never sow. Huh? If you look at all the troubles you have, you will never

sow. That's the first one. And if you look at the clouds, you shall not reap.

If you look at the clouds,

hopelessness

So come to this place of deep understanding that whatsoever you will do on the face of this earth,

you will do it heartily, wholeheartedly unto God and not unto men.

Do not allow the enemy to corrupt your testimony with grudge. Some of you your

testimony in this life when you die and people come and stand and read obituary say now

say it's not as important as did your life

serve God on the face of this earth.

Some of you don't corrupt your testimony with grudges misrepresented reasoning.

you live once. Giving to God is not like giving to beggars on the street. There's a big

difference. Once you live for God, your giving

should exemplify your faith in him. What I'm saying is that how your giving

life is is a declaration of how much you trust him and believe in him.

The Bible said in book of Hebrews that when it spoke of Abraham,

the Bible said that Abraham never asked God questions about if Isaac would die

because he knew that this same God is able to bring this same Isaac has asked him to kill back to life. Abraham had no

doubt that God was the God of the living and the dead and that there was no suchness and limitation to God. So what

he asked him didn't represent a challenge. It was just an opportunity for him to show obedience to the end.

These three pillars are important. Obedience.

A willing heart. [Music]

and a chance to serve in his church.

I want you to speak with God and say, "Lord, set my heart upward. Give me a new meaning to the sense of

giving, to the service of giving. Direct my part to give to you

in such a way that brings your presence instantly to bless me as it did

with Abraham, as it did [Music]

with the widow, as it did with Abel.

Let me understand what I'm doing when I'm called to give that it is a service to you.

And in my life's testimony, I ought to have done it well by you. I

thank you for this help you've given me in Jesus name. Amen.

The Bible says we should not be tired of doing what is good.

He's referring to giving. Galatians 6:9 for when the time is due,

we shall reap. But the conditionality is that if we are consistent, if we

never stop, then shall we reap that which we have already sown.
