Just because a horror movie has deathly serious subject material doesn't mean that the set is somber at all times. Plenty of bloopers have still happened during the filming of horrifying and bloody scenes, often leading to actors completely killing the (however dark) mood. However, there have been a few occasions where a mistake happened and the actors kept rolling with it, staying in character and creating an iconic moment that wasn't in the script.
