Gene Wilder will perhaps forever be remembered for playing Willy Wonka in 1971's classic adaption of Roald Dahl's novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Wilder sadly passed away on August 29, 2016, but he has left a lasting legacy through his many comedic performances.
