please, please take the camera off and
0:06
ask me again.

Hey up and welcome to the channel.
0:21
We're in Huddersfield. I was going on
0:23
the way to a hotel and I was passing
0:24
another one which used to be a migrant
0:27
hotel, the OIO Rock Hotel,
0:31
so I thought I'd just pop up and see if
0:34
it is still close to the public.
0:37
I've not seen a video on this.
0:40
Like the latest one I saw on this place
0:42
was over a year ago by Yorkshire Rose,
0:46
but
0:50
I'm not sure if it is still closed or if
0:52
it's open again to the public. So, we'll
0:55
have a walk around and uh and see
1:00
[Music]
1:11
I've got the restaurant.
1:27
It's open 400 p.m. to 10:30, 12 till 9
1:31
on a Sunday.
1:40
But there's nobody outside.
1:44
It just look like it is. So, we have got
1:46
the blue scoda
1:48
outside.
2:06
So, I'll just have a walk around the
2:08
publicly accessible car park.
2:11
All the windows wide open.
2:19
Let's see what's over here.
2:32
Fire pit.
2:43
A lot of bonfires on a night.
2:58
Some destroyed mattresses. Don't say I
3:00
don't know how long these have been
3:01
here.
3:05
Smashed up windows.
3:08
All the drawers.
3:12
Someone's drying out the trainers.
3:16
Big grassy nice field area for people to
3:18
go and sit in the sun.
3:23
On the way in, I did see
3:27
one of the houses nearby had the big
3:31
reform flag in the window.
3:48
Don't think anyone's seen me yet to be
3:50
fair.
3:54
Well, there's the entrance.
3:57
So, we'll go in and ask the question.
4:21
[Music]
4:25
Hello.
4:26
Hello.
4:27
Are you all right?
4:28
Yeah. You?
4:28
Yeah. Good. Good.
4:32
Right. So, I've just paused the image
4:33
here a second so we can see what's in
4:35
the reception from this view. There is
4:37
about six of them sitting around in the
4:40
bar area just chilling out.
4:43
We have got a pool table
4:46
play pool. Don't know if it's on free
4:48
vend or not. It probably is.
4:51
Just before this clip, we did get a nice
4:54
closeup of his SIA license. I can't see
4:58
much on it though to be fair in his name
5:00
due to the reflective
5:02
material of the pocket. But this in the
5:05
corner here, this gentleman in the blue
5:07
looks like he's having a meeting with
5:09
somebody from Mia cuz it looks like they
5:11
are wearing the Mia's red lanyard and
5:14
all the paperwork on the table.
5:17
Okay, I'll come outside.
5:19
Please, please, please, please, please,
5:22
please, please.
5:22
Yeah. Yeah, I'm going.
5:24
Right, so I've just paused on the notice
5:25
board. I'll turn on to have a good look
5:27
at it. Unfortunately, it is still quite
5:30
blurry because I didn't really get too
5:31
long to look at it. And you see with the
5:34
posters, we've got one for inventory
5:36
stock where they can get toiletries and
5:38
stuff.
5:40
Um, we've got one a certain project.
5:44
I can't really read what it says on it.
5:47
Do not change rooms, no smoking rooms.
5:51
But the most interesting one to me on
5:52
this was this one here for the baller
5:55
helpline. When I've looked into that,
5:58
this is a helpline which is run by
6:03
Bernardos and it offered support and
6:07
advice with mental health and practical
6:10
support to adult asylum seekers across
6:12
the UK.
6:14
Excuse me. But when you click into it on
6:17
the website, it says it is now
6:21
closes that service and it closed on the
6:24
31st of March.
6:27
So, I found that quite interesting. And
6:30
this video was filmed
6:34
and it was filmed on the 18th of
6:36
September. I've just not got really to
6:37
editing.
6:38
Yeah. Please, sir, please. Please, sir.
6:42
Oh, sir, please come. Come.
6:43
I'm going. I'm coming. Yeah. Yeah. Sir,
6:46
please.
6:46
I see if it's still closed or not,
6:49
sir. Nobody here.
6:51
Is it Is it still closed? I know.
6:53
Oh well, it is still closed.
6:58
Oh, we have got a delivery as well.
7:04
So, we have a hopefully we did get some
7:06
of the notice boards on uh
7:10
on the camera. 5 minutes in. Let's see.
7:13
There is your blue scoda
7:17
with home office issue. Let's go have a
7:21
look. See what they're delivering.
7:25
might be for the restaurant.
7:40
So have a stand around and see what they
7:43
are
7:46
what they are delivering. They have just
7:48
closed all the curtains inside. and all
7:50
the security have been looking out the
7:52
windows and there's been two different
7:56
security guards there now. A very secure
7:59
facility.
8:06
So, let's hang around
8:12
and see what is in this lolly.
8:27
Good afternoon.
8:27
Hi mate.
8:28
Yeah. You
8:31
good?
8:34
Alan.
8:37
[Music]
8:41
Say again. Zoe. Cut here.
8:50
going to take the camera off and ask me
8:52
again.
8:53
Why can't it stay on?
9:03
So, why can't the camera go off and ask
9:05
him again?
9:08
Hm.
9:12
Okay.
9:17
Bit ominous that wasn't it.
9:21
The video does stop there cuz I received
9:23
a phone call and the lorry left while I
9:26
was on the phone. So I think he was just
9:27
stopped for his lunch. So that's where
9:29
that video has ended there. But quite an
9:32
interesting one with a notice boards.
9:36
So, thanks for watching and we'll see
9:38
you in the next one.
