Hi, I'm Lucy Noel and you probably know
0:02
me on YouTube.
0:05
Anyways, today I thought I'd do a draw
0:07
my life video so that you guys get to
0:08
know me a little more and how I've
0:10
become who I am now. So, I'm not the
0:12
best drawer, but let's get to this. So,
0:15
I was born in California in the year of
0:17
1998 in Southern California, and I was a
0:20
little Lissy back then, and I was born
0:23
in December 10th. One thing most people
0:25
on YouTube don't know about me is my
0:27
real name is actually Alyssa, but my
0:29
nickname is Lissy.
0:31
I was actually named after a flower
0:33
called an alysum, which kind of gave my
0:35
mom the idea to call me Alyssa. She
0:37
thought that flower is really pretty.

0:40
So, I lived with my mom and my dad
0:43
actually left us and I never knew him.
0:46
But that was okay because my mom loved
0:48
me very much and I loved her very much
0:50
as well. Eventually, my mom really
0:53
wanted to have an actual family with me
0:55
having a father, and she didn't want to
0:57
be alone anymore, and it made me sad
1:00
seeing that. Eventually, by the time I
1:02
was 5, my mom found that special
1:04
someone, and they got married, and we
1:06
finally had a family. I was so happy to
1:09
finally have an actual family.
1:13
And then one day, they told me the
1:15
biggest news I've ever heard. You're
1:17
going to have a sister. I was so happy I
1:20
was going to have a friend to play with.
1:24
I was like ecstatic. Eventually, it
1:26
became the day where my sister was
1:28
brought home and I didn't really realize
1:30
how much babies actually cried. And then
1:32
I realized I was going to be not the
1:34
only child anymore. I became irritated
1:36
very quickly and I did not like crying
1:38
babies. I started to get really sad and
1:41
upset because my parents had to put all
1:43
their attention into the new baby,
1:45
Christa. But that was okay cuz
1:47
eventually I found a new hobby which
1:50
occupied me and made me super happy
1:52
which was drawing. I loved to draw
1:54
everything but especially my pets. I
1:57
loved my dog.
2:00
I actually started to love my dog and
2:02
hang out with my dog so much that I
2:03
actually thought I was a dog and it
2:05
confused my dog. A little bit after my
2:07
sixth birthday, my parents came out with
2:09
big news to me and they told me that
2:11
we're moving and I was like shocked. I
2:14
was like what? were moving. Really, I
2:17
was really sad because I had to leave
2:19
sunny SoCal and I loved the palm trees.
2:22
I love going to Disneyland and I
2:24
especially love the beach and just
2:26
everything about where I lived was a
2:28
really big part of my life and I didn't
2:30
know I was going to have to leave it.
2:32
But I did what I did and I made my
2:34
family happy and I agreed to move. I had
2:36
to say goodbye to my sunny SoCal Golden
2:38
State and I knew I'd miss my friends and
2:40
family, but I had a new adventure
2:43
awaiting for me.
2:45
So, we moved from sunny SoCal all the
2:48
way to Minnesota. And yes, we drove it.
2:52
Once we arrived, there was something
2:53
that I noticed that I had never noticed
2:55
in California before. There was
2:56
literally nature everywhere. I have
2:59
never seen a frog or so many bees or
3:01
butterflies. I was totally overwhelmed
3:03
by all the animals there. I even saw
3:06
farms that had horses. And I was like so
3:09
happy that there was actual horses out
3:11
like everywhere there. Even when I first
3:14
got there, I was outside playing with
3:16
the frogs and two boys ended up noticing
3:18
me. They were all like, "Hey, look, it's
3:20
a girl." And I was all like, "Whoa, it's
3:22
a frog."
3:24
They ended up thinking I was really cool
3:26
because I like to play with the frogs.
3:28
And of course, we became best friends.
3:30
And they were literally my childhood
3:32
friends for the longest time. And we
3:33
hung out together like every day. We
3:35
played all sorts of games together like
3:37
sports and foursquare and tag and
3:40
wrestling. And we hung out together. and
3:43
we of course loved animals which was a
3:45
good common interest. I was so happy to
3:47
actually have real friends. Then one day
3:50
my mom told me to wake up and I was just
3:52
laying in bed and I was all like why do
3:53
I have to wake up? Like you have school
3:56
said my mom. So I realized school
3:58
finally hit me and it was the first day
4:01
of first grade and I was just crying. I
4:03
didn't want to go to school at all but
4:05
that didn't matter and my mom dropped me
4:07
off and left me at the school and I was
4:09
like doomed. Like I didn't know what
4:10
school was like. So, it was the first
4:12
day of first grade and I knew nobody in
4:14
my grade except for my two little
4:15
boyfriends that I made that lived on my
4:17
street except for the girls couldn't
4:18
hang with the boys because apparently
4:20
the boys had cooties. And so, I tried to
4:22
make friends with some girls and every
4:24
time I'd be like, "Hi, Melissa." And
4:25
they'd be like, "Ew." And they wouldn't
4:27
talk to me cuz I was the new girl. And
4:30
some kids even bullied me because my
4:31
teeth apparently looked like buck teeth.
4:33
And they'd be like, "Oh my god, look at
4:35
your teeth." And they would all bully me
4:37
for having really big buck teeth cuz I
4:39
look like Spongebob sadly. and it really
4:41
hurt my feelings. Eventually, a couple
4:44
days into school, we had a cafeteria and
4:47
I always wondered how people got chicken
4:48
nuggets and all the nice hot food in the
4:50
cafeteria because I didn't have a lunch
4:52
account. And there was some popular
4:54
girls sitting a table. And I was just
4:56
the dorky little me. And I asked them,
4:59
"How do you go get those chicken nuggets
5:00
that you guys got?" Because they had
5:02
chicken nuggets. And of course, not
5:04
knowing right, they told me this sneaky
5:07
little trick. and they're all like, "Oh,
5:09
well, if you want that, then you just go
5:11
up there and grab them." And I totally
5:13
believed them. So, that's exactly what I
5:16
ended up doing. And the puppy girl set
5:18
me up to get totally bullied. So, I went
5:21
up and I grabbed all the chicken nuggets
5:23
that I wanted because I thought the
5:25
chicken nuggets were 100% free. And I
5:28
started walking away with them until all
5:29
the lunch people and school staff
5:31
started saying, "What are you doing?
5:33
Like, those chicken nuggets aren't
5:35
free." And I got in trouble. And the
5:38
whole school saw it happen too. All the
5:40
kids started bullying me for this and I
5:42
was crying and I didn't know how to get
5:44
the chicken nuggets and it was just a
5:47
huge mess. I was so sad and all the
5:51
people started calling me chicken nugget
5:53
girl or chicken girl and that's how
5:56
everybody knew me. But then one day I
5:58
saw another kid getting bullied by the
6:00
same kids that bullied me and she was
6:02
crying and I saw her all alone and I
6:04
said, "Hey, I'm Melissa. Do you want to
6:06
be friends?" They bullied me too. And
6:08
surely enough, we became best friends
6:10
right after that cuz we both didn't like
6:12
those girls who were bullying everyone.
6:14
And we even made more friends that were
6:16
getting bullied by the same people. And
6:18
we all formed an anti-bully group and we
6:20
all became really close. And then one
6:23
day I started playing sports, softball,
6:26
basketball, you name it. I was just
6:29
playing every sport that I could. I love
6:31
playing softball and I love playing
6:33
basketball and I just really like being
6:35
a part of the team. Being a part of the
6:37
team gave me a new opportunity to meet
6:39
more people and succeed in sports and
6:42
have a really fun time and I really like
6:44
basketball and everybody started
6:46
cheering me on and I became a really
6:48
important player. I was also winning all
6:50
sorts of first place trophies and medals
6:52
and I was starting to be a big talk. In
6:55
fifth grade, people started knowing me
6:57
as a really athletic, talented sport
6:59
kid. Eventually, I wanted to stick to
7:01
one sport and I chose travel basketball.
7:04
So, I really focused on basketball a lot
7:06
cuz I wanted to make the best team and I
7:08
was really confident that I was going to
7:10
make that team. So, anyways, I was so
7:13
confident like I just thought that I was
7:16
going to make that team and I practiced
7:17
so hard to make it. And then the last
7:21
player is I certainly thought it was
7:24
going to be me, but it was not me. So, I
7:26
was really sad, but then I didn't give
7:28
up. All off season, I practiced super
7:30
hard trying to make the top team again.
7:33
And I worked my butt off to be the best
7:36
basketball player that I could be.
7:39
But that work didn't pay off because I
7:41
didn't make the team again. There was
7:43
too many politics in the basketball
7:45
league. So, I decided to just give it a
7:48
break. and I was going to go try to find
7:49
some new things, even though I was sad
7:51
because I really wanted to make the
7:53
team. So, during sixth and part of fifth
7:55
grade, I didn't do any more sports for a
7:57
little bit to search and see what my
7:59
other talents were, even though I didn't
8:01
know if I had any other ones. But one
8:03
day, I came across this amazing thing
8:05
that we all call the internet. And I
8:07
really, really liked it. The first thing
8:10
I started doing on the internet was
8:11
playing this really cool game called
8:12
Webkins. It was my favorite when I was a
8:14
kid. And that eventually turned into me
8:17
making a YouTube channel for the game
8:18
Webkins where I posted little videos of
8:20
my stuffed animals and all that good
8:22
stuff. And my first YouTube channel was
8:24
called Alyssa B198, which stand for
8:26
Alyssa basketball in the year I was
8:28
born. Eventually, I grew out of Webkins
8:29
and I started doing more artwork. I
8:31
started doing digital art and I was a
8:34
furry. My first furry's name was
8:36
Twilight and I started animating her and
8:38
made a whole YouTube channel and I
8:40
became a total digital art freak. My
8:42
YouTube channel that I made for that was
8:44
called Twilight Clover998, which is the
8:45
same channel that I use right now.
8:47
During this time, I made so much more
8:48
art and I made tons of new friends. My
8:50
mom supported my artwork and everything,
8:52
but one day she got kind of mad because
8:53
I've been on the internet too much and
8:54
she told me that I need to get outside
8:56
more and it was unhealthy to be on the
8:58
internet all day and I needed to do
8:59
something else. So, she enrolled me into
9:02
tennis. And I was not happy at all. I
9:04
thought it was super boring. I did not
9:06
want to be there. I was all done with
9:08
sports at that time. And I just wanted
9:09
to be lazy and go on the internet all
9:11
day. But my mom made me play anyways
9:12
because I needed to stay healthy and
9:14
fit. Eventually, I actually really
9:16
started to love tennis and I got super
9:18
excited to play and I was always on the
9:19
court. And then one day, my parents told
9:21
me that if I make varsity my seventh
9:23
grade year, they would buy me a puppy.
9:25
So, I was out on the court every day
9:26
practicing super hard and I actually
9:29
made varsity on my seventh grade year. I
9:32
was so happy and proud of myself and I
9:34
got to go to four paws and a tail and
9:35
pick out my very own puppy and I was so
9:38
excited. I chose a botchi which is a
9:41
Boston teraba mix and I named her
9:43
Trixie. Eventually I really loved
9:45
playing for my tennis team and I loved
9:47
tennis so much that my mom actually had
9:49
a hard time getting me to leave the
9:51
court sometimes and she actually had to
9:52
force me to come home cuz I loved it
9:54
that much. My life was going really good
9:56
but then one day my parents told me
9:57
something crazy. We were moving. I was
9:59
really sad but I wanted my family to be
10:01
happy. So I agreed to move back to
10:03
California from Minnesota. When I first
10:05
got to California, I was really sad
10:07
because it was summertime and shortly
10:08
enough I realized I had no friends to
10:10
hang out with and I really didn't want
10:11
to spend that summer all alone and it
10:13
was really depressing. Then the first
10:15
day of high school actually hit me and I
10:17
was really kind of scared but I tried to
10:18
be cool and make friends. And I also had
10:21
high school tennis triyouts which I was
10:22
really excited for. On the first day of
10:24
triyouts I introduced myself to
10:25
everybody on the team but they did not
10:26
expect a new player that was actually
10:28
decent to be coming onto the team. We
10:30
played these things called challenge
10:31
matches and I ended up beating everybody
10:33
out as the new girl. This made some of
10:36
the other players really mad and they
10:37
ended up gossiping about me, saying that
10:39
I cheated against them and started
10:41
making rumors about me. I was really
10:43
upset because all these rumors and lies
10:45
that people were making about me weren't
10:46
even true. I played fair and square and
10:48
I just wanted to support a team and help
10:50
them win. Unfortunately, these girls
10:52
never got any better and they ended up
10:53
bullying me and they still continue to.
10:55
But I didn't let it affect me.
10:57
Eventually, I became friends with a
10:59
group of girls who were all new to the
11:00
school. And I went up to a girl who I
11:02
had in one of my classes and asked if I
11:04
could sit with her cuz I saw she was
11:05
alone. Finding out that she was a
11:07
military transfer and so were the other
11:08
girls sitting by us. And we all became
11:10
the new kids and we were all magically
11:13
friends. We ended up seeing a few other
11:14
girls who were sitting alone. So, we
11:16
asked them to join us and they were new,
11:17
too. So, we were the new kids of the
11:19
school and we were so swag. We had our
11:22
own little group and we were all new.
11:24
Actually, it was the last day of
11:25
freshman year and I knew that my friends
11:27
were all mostly moving because they were
11:29
transfer students and they were from the
11:31
military. So, I had to say goodbye to
11:33
all of them. I knew I was going to miss
11:34
them a lot. And during the summer, I had
11:36
like no friends to hang out with because
11:38
they all moved and it was so depressing.
11:41
So, during the summer, I became really
11:42
really hooked to YouTube and I was
11:44
watching tons of YouTube videos and tons
11:46
of YouTubers and that gave me an idea. I
11:48
decided that I wanted to try making my
11:50
own YouTube videos. So, I set up a
11:52
camera and started doing my own videos.
11:54
In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I
11:56
started posting weekly YouTube videos
11:59
and it was like my new hobby.
12:00
Eventually, summer ended and I had to go
12:02
back to school. So, I decided to be
12:04
homeschooled and I actually really
12:06
enjoyed it because I got to be on the
12:07
internet more. And my homeschooling even
12:09
allowed me to join a new tennis team
12:11
where I was actually accepted and I got
12:13
to play for an amazing group of girls. I
12:15
had YouTube, I had tennis, I had Trixie,
12:19
and I had art. And now, one year later,
12:22
I still had everything that I had back
12:24
then, plus 3,000 best friends, and
12:27
that's you. Thanks for supporting me.
12:30
I'm only 16 right now, but who knows
12:31
what the future holds. And thank you so
12:33
much for being there to support me in my
12:35
channel. And I know life gets tough.
12:37
It's not always easy, but if you stay
12:40
strong, it will pay off in the long run.
12:42
And guys, who knows where your life will
12:43
take you. My life is taking me on an
12:45
amazing journey, and I'm still excited
12:47
for what's yet to come. Thank you so
12:49
much for watching my Draw My Life video.
