Reid Ewing, known for his role on Modern Family, revealed his struggles with body dysmorphia and addiction to plastic surgery in a 2015 essay. Starting at age 19, he underwent multiple cosmetic surgeries in an attempt to fix perceived flaws, but each procedure left him more dissatisfied and regretful.
