Amid the beauty, there is a shadow that cannot be ignored. The glaciers, those ancient guardians
0:11
of these mountains, are retreating. What once stood eternal now fractures and fades, melting
0:16
into torrents that rush too fast, too furious, carving scars into the valleys below. Villages
0:22
speak of rivers swelling beyond memory, of floods that arrive without warning, of homes and fields
0:27
swallowed whole. The air that feels so crisp and clean carries too the weight of impermanence
0:33
These mountains, timeless in their grandeur, now hold a fragile secret. They are changing faster
0:39
than their people can adapt. It is terrifying to stand in a place so breathtaking and know that
0:44
its heartbeat is faltering. The ice that has endured centuries yields to the heat of a world
0:49
in haste and every drop that falls whispers both life and loss. Pakistan's glaciers are not only
0:56
as treasure, they are its lifeline. To watch them vanish is to witness beauty bleeding into tragedy
1:26
the mornings here arrive like quiet miracles the air is so crisp it feels alive threading
1:47
through my lungs with the purity i had forgotten existed it carries the cool breath of mountains
1:53
the hush of valleys and the promise of something untouched. Everywhere I go, kindness meets me
1:58
It does not trickle, it pours, like rivers surging after summer, uncontainable and full of life
2:04
Smiles come easily, hands extend without hesitation, and in every encounter I feel the generosity of a people
2:11
whose hearts seem wider than the landscapes themselves. The land is a living poem
2:16
Valleys unfurl like verses, peaks rise like declarations, and rivers weave through the stanzas with effortless grace
2:23
To wander here is to walk inside poetry itself, to feel both small and infinite at once
2:28
Pakistan does not simply show its beauty. It lets me feel it
2:32
In the stillness of the mountains and in the laughter of strangers, in the embrace of air so clean, it sharpens and softens spirits
2:40
Here, beauty is not an image. It's an experience, one that lingers in the soul long after the eyes have moved on
2:53
Thank you
3:23
okay good morning everybody as you can see i've left the mountains and i've arrived here in the
3:37
city of lahore i'm beginning my time at the delhi gate it's called the delhi gate because straight
3:42
in front of me for the next 500 kilometers is the city of delhi in india also they have the
3:48
Lahori Gate in Delhi. Throughout today I'm going to be taking you on a tour of the walled city of
3:53
Lahore It going to be a beautiful trip It a little bit of a culture shock again for me although I been here so many times it a culture shock because I come from the peaceful sublime mountains to the craziness of the city But I going to do my best to enjoy it and take you also on a trip with me
4:08
We're going to be tasting some incredible food, seeing some ancient sights and of course smelling all of the incredible spices along the way
4:15
Shall we? Welcome everybody to my favourite mosque, not only right here in Lahore, but also in the
4:54
whole of Pakistan. This behind me is the Wazir Khan Mosque sitting right here in the heart of the
5:00
walled city here in Lahore. Built all the way back in 1642, the Wazir Khan Mosque is a 17th century
5:16
Mughal masjid and it's one of my favorite places here in Lahore due to its aesthetic and historical
5:22
beauty. All around me I can see phenomenal stunning hand-painted walls and it's a beautiful place to
5:28
come for prayer. okay everybody a little tired here but i've just spent the last 15 days traveling across
6:04
northern pakistan with 10 beautiful people amazing people through my company beyond
6:11
borders expeditions so we just spent the last 15 days venturing across islamabad lahore hunza
6:18
and Skardu all across the beautiful mountains and it was I have to say one of my favorite trips of
6:23
all time. I am beyond grateful for everyone who joined that trip from the connection the landscapes
6:28
the energy throughout the trip it was infectious and beautiful and it's filled me with so much love
6:34
So 2026 is shaping up not shaping up it is going to be our biggest year yet and I've never actually
6:41
sat here and spoken to you guys on this platform about Beyond Borders expeditions and already the
6:47
trips for next year are almost sold out there are just a few spots left on every single trip
6:51
so i just wanted to share what these trips are like with you guys just in case you wanted to
6:56
join because some of you don't follow me on the other platforms where i share it so i wanted to
7:01
share with you what they're like just in case you wanted to grab that last minute spot for next year
7:05
so if you're new here and you've never heard of beyond borders expeditions beyond borders expeditions
7:09
is not just this company who take you to countries just so you can tick off a list this company is
7:15
about real immersive travel. It's about stepping into culture with respect, learning from people
7:20
who live there and breaking down stereotypes through shared experiences. Every single expedition
7:25
that we go on is built with intention, small groups, meaningful connections and immersive
7:31
travel every step of the way. Throughout these trips we're not just traveling, we are building
7:35
deep human connections. So now is the time I'm going to take you through all of the 2026
7:39
expeditions. We have around 15 trips for next year which I'm so excited about. So let's begin
7:44
we'll go through January February March all the way to December in chronological order
7:49
So one of my favorite trips of the entire year that I've created I'm heading back to a region
7:53
which I adore and we're going to kick off the year in January across the Levant across Lebanon
7:58
and Syria two of the most historically rich diverse and resilient countries in the world This trip is full of contrast we are going to be exploring beautiful vibrant cities We going to be heading up into the mountains to explore mountain life
8:12
We're going to be exploring ancient ruins and phenomenal, stunning landscapes along the way
8:18
And then at the end of January, we are heading to the island of Socotra. Many of you may have heard about it
8:23
Many of you may have not. Socotra is an island located just south off the coast of Yemen
8:28
This island is one of the most untouched places on earth and it's known for its alien-like
8:34
landscapes, beautiful dragon blood trees and crystal clear waters. This trip is all about
8:41
raw nature and isolation, I guess the best word is to be used, but all in the best way
8:47
In February, we have two amazing adventures. These are both Libya and India. Libya is a country most
8:52
people never even thought about going to but it's a country steeped with beautiful untouched coastline
8:59
to vast deserts and ancient ruins and of course India there is no place like it from the chaotic
9:05
cities to the vibrant temples we're going to be doing a journey across the golden triangle
9:10
Jaipur, Agur and Delhi as well as heading to the Ranthambul National Park to hopefully spot tigers
9:17
on safari this is a trip where we can dive fully into culture life and spirituality and then after
9:22
these trips it is ramadan so we're taking a small break and then at the beginning of april we're
9:27
heading on a nine-day expedition across egypt we're going to be visiting cairo luxor aswan
9:32
taking the river cruises and really delving into the local culture egypt is one of my favorite
9:37
countries and i can't wait to take some of you guys along with us and then in the second half
9:40
of april we're heading back to pakistan this time because it's april it's blossom season now many of
9:47
you have seen the blossoms across japan it's exactly the same in pakistan but less touched
9:53
it's so untouched in this area of pakistan i've seen it i've experienced it and it's one of the
9:58
greatest wonders you can experience across the planet and i'm beyond excited for this we had
10:05
originally a pakistan expedition for the second half of april actually this is already sold out
10:11
months ago which i'm very grateful for thank you so much if you've joined that trip so the demand
10:16
has been a little crazy for a trip back to Pakistan and I can attest the last trip in Pakistan as I
10:23
said was one of the best I've ever done so inshallah we just keep building on that incredible
10:28
vibes across those trips and because of this huge demand for this trip we've added two additional
10:33
dates we've got one more trip happening in April at the beginning of April it's a 15-day trip as
10:39
well as during November in May we're going to be kicking off with quite the adventure across one of
10:44
the most misunderstood countries in the world that of course is Afghanistan and then we'll be
10:49
ending the month of May in Jordan. We're going to be heading to Petra, Amman and exploring all of the
10:54
other beautiful locations across the country. After that of course is the summer months in the Middle
10:59
East. We do not want to be traveling during that time. It is intensely hot and obviously I care
11:04
about your welfare a lot so I don't want to be putting you through that kind of level of stress
11:09
on your body. So we're going to be taking a few months break and we're going to be coming back in August where we will begin our August trips in Pakistan again only this time we're going to be
11:19
heading on some mountaineering trips between the 1st and the 19th of August we're going to be taking
11:24
you guys on the K2 base camp trick a trip that I've done I did this a year ago and I loved it
11:31
it's one of my favorite experiences of all time don't worry if you haven't got any mountain training
11:36
yet because you only need around six months to prepare and the training is not too strenuous
11:42
it's just daily practice of walking so if you want to try mountain trekking for the first time
11:47
I'm your guy you should do it with me because I will be the best teacher you can have I've done
11:53
mountaineering a lot I've done K2 Basecamp I've done GGLA Summit I've done Everest Basecamp and
11:58
many others across the world so if you've been thinking about doing something like this then
12:02
let me know and then we move forward towards the end of the year to september october and november it kind of quite hard to believe that i already talking about september october november but actually the trips are almost sold out for next year so we have to be quick and we begin our time in september
12:18
in the beautiful country of oman oman is a stunning idyllic country which i can't wait for
12:25
you to see we're going to be exploring the wadis the deserts and of course all of the untouched
12:29
beautiful coastlines across the journey as well as hitting some really beautiful cultural landmarks
12:35
along the way including nizwa for the famous nizwa friday morning goat market in october we're going
12:40
to be continuing with the culture and we're going to be heading to uzbekistan one of the most popular
12:44
trips that i've ever launched i've been doing the uzbekistan trips for a couple of years and every
12:49
year they sell out almost immediately so next year we only also have i think three or four spaces
12:55
remaining for next october so we're talking one year in advance people are already booking up
13:00
which is phenomenal and then we're going to be heading to saudi this is a trip which i love doing
13:05
saudi is a beautiful mix you can come if you're non-muslim and also muslim because during our
13:12
saudi trip we do the standard saudi tourism tour where we go to jada riad and medina and also we
13:18
have a umrah add-on so if you're muslim and you want to complete your umrah then this is also an
13:23
option i will stay back with you guys for the following two slash three days and i can come
13:27
with you and we can complete our emrah together and then we close our year with just two additional
13:32
trips two trips to some of the most fascinating countries in the world they both begin with i
13:38
these are both iraq and iran throughout these two trips we will explore the daily life the deep
13:45
history as well as the spirituality that you can find in these countries two of the most historically
13:50
rich countries on the planet. So I hear you asking why these expeditions different from any other trip
13:55
you can take. These expeditions are not about luxury. They are about depth, small groups, real
14:01
moments and powerful stories. We work with local teams on my trips and we will never stay in
14:07
worldwide known resorts. This is not what we do on my trip. The accommodation on our trips are so
14:13
well meticulously planned for your benefit, for you to experience what local life is like
14:19
I'm not talking you're staying in a guest house. For example, in Iran, we will stay in family mansions
14:24
which have been turned into boutique hotels. In Uzbekistan, we also stay in similar accommodation
14:29
whereas Uzbek houses, which have been turned into these phenomenal cultural icons
14:34
And in Pakistan, we stay in some stunning accommodations across the mountains
14:40
I've just returned back from this trip. And one of the most positive things that people were saying were the accommodation
14:47
They absolutely loved the unique style of where we were staying and it's always going to be something you will remember
14:53
We do this to ensure that we're supporting the local communities instead of big conglomerates that invest in those countries
14:59
I want these trips where you come and you directly support the people around you just by joining
15:05
You'll come home from these trips not just with memories but with long-lasting connections, lifetime friendships
15:11
as well as hopefully a deeper understanding not just of the country you're traveling in
15:16
but also of the world. Okay, I've got to the end. Finally, thank you so much for listening
15:20
If you are interested in filling those last remaining spots for next year
15:24
you can head to beyondborderexpeditions.com. I'll drop all of the links down
15:28
in the description box so you can click. And I only accept people joining the trips via email
15:33
So you can email me beyondborderstrips at gmail.com and we can get you signed up
15:38
Inshallah, the brief space is left for you. If you've got any questions, then of course please also send me an email or you can send me a direct message over on the beyond
15:45
border expeditions instagram page as i said all details will be down in the description box i hope
15:50
you enjoyed this video i'm sorry i didn't film so much in pakistan actually i was so immersed
15:55
in enjoying every single moment as present as i could be that i actually didn't pick up this
16:01
camera so much but this video i wanted to speak about the glaciers melting because it's such an
16:06
important subjects anyway i love you thank you so much for listening and i'll see you very soon
