So, a few weeks ago I was almost arrested at the Israel Border Control. Let's talk about it
0:05
I was debating about not actually talking about this topic because, to be honest, it was the most
0:10
humiliating, degrading and scary experience of my entire life. I'm fully aware that this video
0:15
may get taken down and also my social media is shut down, but it's a topic we have to talk about
0:20
and it's a topic that should be widely spoken about. But before I get into the topic about me
0:25
we need to give some context about what actually is happening, the truth about what is happening
0:29
in this part of the world. Since attacks heightened last year in 2021 and throughout 2022 I've seen
0:36
countless reports by news channels, not only news channels but huge news channels in a false way
0:43
about what truly is going on. Palestinians are facing daily bombardment from the apartheid state
0:48
and one of those bombardments is at the Al-Aqs Mosque which is the third most holiest site
0:52
in the Islamic faith. Both in 2021 and during 2022 the apartheid state fired rubber bullets
0:59
at people praying within Al-Aqsa Mosque. These aren't just rubber bullets. These are steel bullets with just a one centimetre thick rubber coating
1:09
that is enough to inflict humongous pain and also will cause numerous hundreds of deaths
1:16
Zionism is Israel national identity and Zionists believe that Judaism is a nationality as well as a religion and Jews deserve a right to belong to their ancestral home Let talk about the law of return The law of return
1:31
was passed on the 5th of July in 1950 and it gives Jews the right to relocate and build homes
1:37
in Israel. Section one of the law to return declares that every Jew has the right to return
1:43
to Israel as an Ola, which means immigrant. They started building settlements after 1967 following
1:49
a free confiscation of land and who did they take this land from? Palestinians. The airport and all
1:56
borders are controlled by the apartheid state. Gaza is currently under siege which means it's an area
2:02
of two million people that can't escape. They are provoking and attacking residents in Sheikh Jarrah
2:08
which is a crucial area of land which Israelis want to take. When is this going to end
2:13
I flew to Tel Aviv from Greece because I wanted to spend some of my Ramadan in this blessed part of the world
2:20
I landed and then proceeded to border control where they then asked me to sit down to answer a few questions
2:27
A few minutes later I was taken into the back room which is to the right of the immigration
2:31
where I was then proceeded to be interrogated, assaulted and verbally attacked for the next six hours
2:38
So when you enter the room you are asked to sign a piece of paper Which basically means you are only speaking the truth the entire time which of course I signed They asked me questions about my previous relationships explicit questions about my previous relationships my childhood and my religion
2:54
I then had to explain in depth my previous three years of travelling in detail, the exact dates, the exact locations and the exact people I've met throughout this entire time
3:03
For me, honestly, I didn't have an issue with them asking me questions about my travelling
3:08
I expected this from immigration but what I did not expect was six hours of persecution against
3:13
my faith my childhood or my previous relationships so six hours six hours later after being screamed
3:20
out assaulted and attacked over the dumbest questions about my religion especially my religion
3:29
they were fixated upon my religion which I've honestly never experienced before and it gave me
3:36
taste of what Muslims around the world truly experience at border controls. They called me a
3:41
liar and continuously were asking me why I was hiding something so after six hours I have had
3:46
enough. I said to them, I laid back in my chair and I said look I don't want to answer any more of
3:51
your questions. These are the dumbest questions I've ever had to experience. Immigration had no
3:56
right to ask me about anything during my childhood, anything about my previous relationships, anything
4:00
like that and it was horrible. It was really really awful so after that I said look I've
4:06
had enough and I went and proceeded to book a flight and I left What happened in that room I not going to go into too much detail was traumatic Really really traumatic and the worst experience I ever had in my entire life
4:19
And I never want anybody else in this world to experience what I went through
4:24
It was really, really awful. And it's taken me three weeks now after it happened to even come on camera and talk about it
4:31
And this is also why I haven't uploaded onto this channel for a little while
4:36
because I honestly just haven't been that emotionally stable after it. It was really awful
4:41
I almost went home just to rest and kind of get my headspace back to the original weight
4:48
because it really took me down to a place that I never ever want to go down to ever again
4:55
Look, this was one experience, one six-hour experience I've had. I can't even imagine what it's like to experience that every single day
5:03
to be living in this nightmare. and to be persecuted every single day
5:08
with the fear of someone taking your land over nothing. And I hope that in the future
5:18
Palestinians can freely live their life that they want to live without the fear of people taking their homes, violence or persecution
5:26
Palestine, I'm with you every single day. You know that. And I will continue to fight for this cause forever
5:33
Thank you for watching. See you in the next video
