Hello everyone. In this video, we are
0:09
going to see how to migrate
0:12
from Salesforce
0:15
default agent force agent to the new
0:20
agent force employee agent
0:24
starting June 17, 2025.
0:29
New innovations or new enhancements that
0:32
are done on the agent force platform are
0:35
not contributed towards the default
0:38
agent force agent.
0:41
In order to get the latest updates and
0:44
enhancements
0:47
for your uh agent force uh agent,
0:51
migrate your uh default agent force
0:54
agent to agent force employee agent.
1:04
In order to convert or migrate,
1:08
go to your Salesforce uh setup,
1:13
search agent force agents
1:19
and click the get started button.
1:23
When you click plus new agent,
1:27
you should have
1:29
agent force employee agent as type here.
1:33
So make sure you have this and then as
1:35
an admin you have the required
1:37
permissions and the required uh uh
1:40
licenses are added to your Salesforce or
1:44
so. So click get started.
1:47
I'm going to give the name as employee
1:49
agent.
1:53
Once you enter the name, it will autopop
1:56
populate the APA name. Click the create
1:59
button.
2:01
It will make use of all the agent force
2:05
default agent uh information
2:09
and then you should be able to see that
2:13
in this uh agent force employee agent
2:16
type.
2:18
So open it
2:21
click open and builder
2:25
and verify the topics.
2:27
If you don't see the custom topics, if
2:31
if it missed something, it will be very
2:34
straightforward,
2:35
you can either create new topic or uh if
2:39
it is a standard topic, then you should
2:41
be able to click the click add from
2:43
asset library button uh library from the
2:46
new menu option and then you should be
2:49
able to add the standard ones.
2:53
If you have created custom actions and
2:55
apex, once the topic is available, you
2:59
should be able to fairly and
3:01
straightforward add them in your new
3:04
topic and uh new topic and then you
3:07
should be able to do it.
3:11
One important thing what I would
3:13
recommend is make sure you are using the
3:16
testing center to thoroughly test the
3:20
migrated uh agent force agent from the
3:23
default one to the employee agent force
3:26
agent. Make sure you are covering all
3:29
the use cases and then make sure the
3:33
expected result is working as expected
3:36
so that you can do the same thing in
3:38
your production or completely test it in
3:41
your sandbox or make sure everything
3:44
goes fine and then plan for a release
3:46
date for your production or
3:53
I have added some FAQs and also I I have
3:57
given the detailed steps that we
3:59
discussed in this video in my blog post
4:03
from the video description. You should
4:05
be able to get uh the blog post link.
4:15
I hope it was helpful.

Thank you for watching.
