Rare brain-eating amoeba: Boy in critical condition after swimming in Sea of Galilee

Israel's Health Ministry says a 9-year-old boy has been hospitalized with encephalitis. Initial lab tests reveal that he contracted the infection from Naegleria fowleri. He was swimming in the Sea of Galilee a week ago.
