Here are some celebrities you may not have known have survived a stroke. In 2012, ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ star Frankie Muniz experienced his first transient ischemic attack, often referred to as a “mini-stroke,” at just 26 years old. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly in 2017, Muniz revealed that he had suffered “at least” 15 transient ischemic attacks by that point and said he struggled with memory loss. However, Muniz has since clarified during a 2021 episode of Steve-O's ‘Wild Ride!’ podcast that his "mini-strokes" were actually severe aura migraines. He explained that his memory gaps were largely caused by nine concussions he had suffered throughout his life and the whirlwind blur of his busy childhood acting career rather than amnesia. Broadcasting legend Larry King survived a stroke in 2019 at the age of 85. After spending several weeks in a coma, he underwent extensive rehabilitation and eventually returned to public life. King sadly died in January 2021 from sepsis.
