In this video, we'll be using Pictory.ai to edit a YouTube video without having to download the file

and without having to use a video editor. We're going to edit this video with AI by simply editing the transcript

Let's go ahead and get started. The first thing you want to do is go to Pictory.ai and sign up for a free account

Your next step is to find a YouTube video that you want to edit. In this case, I have a 1 minute and 42 second video on Steve Jobs discussing failure

but this clip is too long for my presentation, so I'm going to edit this down

So the first step is for me to copy the URL, and now I'm going to go back to Pictory

I'm going to choose this option that says Edit Videos with Text. I'm going to select Proceed, and I'm going to paste that YouTube link

right over here at the top of the screen. Now when I select Proceed, I'm going to choose the number of speakers

In this case, it was just Steve talking. And in a few moments, Pictory is going to process this file

All right, so here we are. You'll see the video to the right, the transcript to the left

You can play the video by pushing the play button, and you'll see the progress of the video and where we are in the transcript to the left

Okay, now a couple things you'll notice. All of the filler words in this transcript are highlighted

So one thing that you can do with one click is completely remove all of those filler words

The first thing I can do is get rid of this opening
