So thanks for your consideration, and now let's get to the video. So here's my story. I wrote this great essay, but it's too long

The total number of words and characters exceed the limit for this particular assignment

You can see I have nearly 600 words and close to 2,500 characters

So I need to summarize this, but I'm not going to do the work myself

Instead, I'm going to go to this website, Summary, and this is going to do the work for me

The website that you can see on the screen is Summary. It's S-M-M-R-Y. Basically, SummaryWithoutTheVowels.com

So I'll just have to select all of my text, copy the text, go back to Summary, paste the text, and the one thing that I'll have to consider is how many sentences I want

So before, I think I had 43 sentences. Let me go down to 14 sentences, and I'm going to select Summarize

In just a few seconds, Summary is going to provide me with a 14-sentence summary of the text that I copied

You can see that it reduced my text by 50% at 1,500 characters

Now, with 14, it's too many sentences. I can change this from 14 to 10, and Summary is automatically going to make those changes

From here, I can take all of the text, I can copy my text, start a new document, and paste that text, and my assignment is all finished

One thing that I did want to share with you, I copied and pasted text into this box, but you don't have to do it

You also have the option to upload a file or to paste the URL, and Summary is going to automatically summarize the text on that website for you
