So the rapper Drake was in the headlines last week because one of his fans used artificial intelligence to create the song Heart on my sleeve, featuring the band The Weekend
0:11
Now, this prompted one of my friends to ask me if it was possible to show them how to use AI to create a song performed by Drake
0:19
And that's what I'm going to show you today. So the first thing that you need is an MP3 version of the song that you want Drake to perform
0:27
In this case, I am choosing Mother by Meg. and trainer. So here is the MP3 audio of that song. Now the next thing I need to do is to go to this
0:36
website. It's called vocal remover.org. This is going to allow me to isolate the music and the vocals
0:43
I'm just going to upload that track and in a few moments I'll be able to isolate the vocals and
0:48
the background music. So if you've never seen vocal remover. So if you've never seen vocal
0:54
and remove her before. I'm going to leave a card in the top part of this video. But as you can see right over here
1:00
it's allowing me to have a file of the music and a file of the vocals. So if I hit play, you can hear
1:08
the background audio. Now let me turn down the music. Let me turn up the vocals
1:12
Get your opinion so strong even when you're wrong. Okay, so that's exactly what I want
1:19
Now from here, what I'm going to have to do is to save two MP3 files. The first one is going to
1:24
going to be the background music. And the second is going to be the MP3 of the vocals
1:33
So here are the files that I have I have the original audio I have an MP3 of just the vocals and I have an MP3 of the background music So I took those two files the vocals and the music
1:44
I laid them right on top of each other, and I brought them into a video editor
1:48
Now I'm using Camtasia. You don't have to use Camtasia. You can use Imovie, Da Vinci's OpenCut
1:54
really any program that allows you to do multi-track editing. So I'm good here
2:00
So from here, I'm going to go to the website, Uberduck.com. This is an awesome site that's completely free. And once I create an account
2:09
I'm going to choose this option that says voice to voice. Now, once I'm in voice to voice
2:14
I have the option to choose from a number of different voices. You can see it's set to rappers
2:19
Here's Drake, along with several other wrappers. But I'm going to leave this to Drake. My next step
2:24
is to upload my voice file. So I'm going to choose this option. But I don't want to just upload the
2:31
audio track because Uber Duck will only allow you a 60 second audio file
2:36
This means I'll need to go back to my video editor and figure out which segment under one
2:41
minute that I want to take. And I'm going to take this part of the song
2:49
So I'm going to start right about here. I'm going to split this clip
2:54
Let's get rid of this part. I'm going to go to about a minute 25, which should be right around here
3:01
So it's important to notice that the clip starts at about 25 seconds, which is fine
3:10
So I going to just maybe take this clip I just going to leave a mark right over here so I know that that the part where I want to start my song I going to go to right about here
3:21
Let me make another clip. I'm going to get rid of this
3:25
And now what I'm going to do is just get rid of our background music
3:30
I'm going to bring this over here. And now I'm going to export this as a audio file
3:36
So I'm only going to export this small segment, which is under one minute
3:40
So hopefully you're following because at this point, what you need to do now is to go back to UberDuck
3:45
I'm going to upload that file, that 60 second or so audio clip that I recently exported
3:53
There it is. And now what I want to do is take this clip and convert that in Drag's voice
3:59
So I'm going to select Convert. And in just a few minutes, I should hear that song, Mother Bean sang by Drake
4:07
Okay, let me scroll down. let me play just a little bit of the song for you
4:10
Let's miss Mr. Big Boy, rolling up in your bit toy saying all that blah, blah, blah
4:16
making all that big noise. Now, as I said, Drake is not the only rapper
4:21
that you can choose from. Let's go ahead and hear what this sounds like with Kanye West singing
4:27
This, smith, Mr. Bit Boy, rolling up in your bit toy, saying on that blah, blah, blah
4:34
And why not? Let's pick one more rapper. Let me go ahead
4:38
and pick. Let's see. I'm going to go up to the top and take Tupac. Let's hear how this one sounds
4:48
So you get the idea You can choose from a variety of different rappers Now we created the song So we could hear Drake singing mothers So I just going to go to the file that I
5:00
So I'm just going to go to this version, sing by Drake, and I'm going to select download, and that will automatically download an MP3 of just the vocals
5:10
Now, from here, I need to go back to my editor. Okay, so I'm back in Camtasia
5:15
If you remember, I started the rap at about 25 seconds. what I'm going to do is to import that audio track of Drake singing mother
5:25
Okay, so let's go ahead and just hear a little bit about how this sounds. Again, I'm going to have to be careful not to play too much of the song
5:32
Here's about five seconds. So there is an idea of how you can do this
5:43
I just took Drake, used AI to make him sing the song, Mother, by
5:49
Megan Trayner. I think it sounds really cool. Now, some voices sound better than others, but if you're
5:55
just looking to try this out for free without having to pay anything, I would follow this method
6:01
Go ahead and go to uberduck.a.ai and play around with some of the really cool voices that you'll
6:06
hear. It won't be anything professional or anything that you can use commercially, but it's worth
6:11
trying out. So thank you so much for watching this video. If you have any other questions
