The Air Jordan 3 Midnight Navy is set to officially release on March the 20th and will retail for $190. The shoe features a midnight navy upper with the customary elephant print pattern hitting the heel and the tip of the toe area. Grey can also be spotted on portions of the heel, the tongue, its extension and parts of the eyestay. Many believe that the shoe was inspired by the Georgetown Hoyas colors ( this is all speculation). This morning we’ll talk about the number of pairs possibly made and their current resale value.

hey what's going on guys this is
0:01
tybahasakis.com and today we're going to
0:03
talk about the jordan 3 midnight navy
0:05
it's coming out in about two three days
0:07
from today it's gonna cost 190
0:09
and i don't think they're coming out in
0:11
kids sizes so now we're going to talk
0:12
about
0:13
how many were made resell where to get
0:15
it and we're also going to talk about
0:17
how to
0:18
spot the fake ones now before i get into
0:20
that i'm going to show you a quick video
0:22
of it
0:22
and then we're going to get into it okay
0:24
now let's check that out
0:32
[Music]
0:42
wow
0:44
[Music]
0:56
quickly
0:59
[Music]
1:10
now usually when i uh do my um how many
1:13
made and all that i'm always going
1:14
through a regular step of finding
1:16
who's getting the shoe and then we set
1:18
up some assumptions and
1:19
that's a whole lot of stuff what we do
1:21
now this time i'm not gonna do that
1:24
because i didn't think it was necessary
1:26
a lot of the general releases
1:27
have the same uh pattern so i'm just
1:30
going to stick with what i came up with
1:32
before
1:32
so when i was working on the cool grade
1:34
3 i came up with a projection between
1:36
200
1:37
000 and 400 000 pairs and then when the
1:39
shoe came out it kind of proved to be
1:41
right because they made a lot
1:42
now for this one what i did is when i
1:45
looked at the other
1:46
the retailers that were getting it it's
1:47
pretty much the same people that are
1:49
getting it
1:49
but i feel like they're still gonna be a
1:51
little less than the cool grade
1:53
so i pretty much just considered that
1:55
and the number of shoes made will be
1:57
anywhere between 200 000
1:59
and 300 000 and i don't think that's uh
2:02
i'm stretching it too much because
2:03
that's that's gonna be
2:04
pretty much what it is now the shoe is
2:06
this is the first time the shoe is
2:08
dropping
2:08
so a lot of people are going to want it
2:10
because they are consistent with a
2:11
georgetown
2:12
um jordan 3 colorway so that's why i
2:16
guess people want it
2:17
but as far as like uh the numbers i'm
2:20
thinking anywhere between 200k
2:22
and 300k now if you want to find out how
2:24
come up with this numbers i will have a
2:25
link for in the description where you
2:26
can actually see how i come up with
2:28
these numbers because i set up some
2:29
assumptions
2:30
and i and i place uh i set up some
2:33
numbers there and then we do some
2:35
calculations you've seen it if you've
2:36
watched my stuff before you know
2:37
how i do it so i didn't want to waste
2:39
your time with this so this is why i
2:40
went straight up and said
2:42
it's probably going to be consistent
2:43
with what the cool uh three were like so
2:46
anywhere between 200k and 300k
2:49
now the next thing we're going to do is
2:50
we're going to talk about resale and
2:52
we're going to talk about resale value
2:53
versus time and then we're going to do
2:54
resale versus
2:55
size as well we're going to see what
2:57
sizes are the best to acquire
2:59
so i'm going to show you a picture on my
3:00
website and then we're going to discuss
3:02
that
3:03
so now when i was doing my uh research
3:05
and i collected the data this is what i
3:07
came up with
3:08
like on march the first obviously some
3:10
dummy paid 435 hours for the show
3:12
again this happens with people they get
3:14
to trigger happy or sometimes it's just
3:16
maybe celebrities that have money to
3:18
blow
3:18
so they spend that kind of exorbitant
3:21
prices on the shoe
3:22
that i don't think is worth that much
3:24
now if you can see the trend here
3:26
between the 2nd of march
3:27
all the way to the 10th uh the shoe has
3:30
been kind of training down
3:31
a little bit and he kind of stabilized
3:32
at 307
3:34
so what i'm assuming is this like a few
3:36
years ago
3:37
actually that was like a year and a half
3:39
ago i uh i built
3:41
this um i came up with this pattern what
3:43
i realized is most
3:44
general release sneakers they lose about
3:46
five to like fifteen percent of their
3:48
uh original resale value from the day
3:51
they were available on the third
3:52
party marketplace you lose about
3:54
anywhere between five to like ten or
3:56
fifteen percent
3:56
so that's what i'm assuming is gonna
3:58
happen so with that said i think the
4:00
shoe is going to sell between 260 and
4:02
270 or
4:03
maybe 290. so i'm going to read off uh
4:06
what i wrote on my uh
4:08
presentation so that it gives you a
4:10
better idea of what i'm saying here
4:11
quickly
4:12
the chart gives you a breakdown of the
4:13
resale value of the shoe per day since
4:15
march the first
4:16
so basically what we saw was that uh the
4:19
shoe is slowly decreasing so i'm
4:21
thinking by the time
4:22
saturday heat is gonna be anywhere
4:24
between five percent of 10 decrease
4:26
so based on the conclusion that i came
4:29
up with like
4:29
a couple of years ago i would say that
4:31
for this shoe
4:32
the price is going to be anywhere within
4:34
like the 270 or 290 range it depends on
4:36
the size that you get
4:37
so now what we're going to do is we're
4:38
going to suit the resale by size to give
4:40
you a better idea okay
4:42
so let's do that now so usually when i
4:44
do the breakdown by size i never give
4:45
you the profit so now i decided to do
4:47
that because it's better
4:48
now you can kind of see the breakdown
4:50
here for size seven and a half
4:52
you'll probably be getting away with
4:53
making 160 on it
4:55
for eight and a half about 142 for size
4:57
nine 106
4:59
size nine and a half 103 size 10 84
5:03
size 10 and a half 107 size 11 103
5:06
size 11 and a half 104 size 12 to like
5:09
14
5:10
between 130 and 10 108 between those
5:13
numbers so you can kind of see that as
5:14
shoe
5:15
as far as resale is concerned you you
5:17
you're going to be coming up with a good
5:18
profit about 100 or 100 or more
5:21
now like i said by the time it releases
5:24
it's gonna drop a little bit so you can
5:25
see these numbers are gonna drop down to
5:27
maybe
5:28
anywhere between 75 and 80 dollars so
5:30
this is what i'm thinking but again i'm
5:31
going to read it off my chart that i
5:33
have on my uh
5:34
presentation to give you a better idea
5:36
so let's see resale by size
5:38
like i said here now this is what
5:42
what is taking place uh as i mentioned
5:44
earlier the resale value is probably
5:45
gonna drop by like five
5:47
or ten percent by the time you reach the
5:49
official release date
5:50
so you can expect all the numbers that i
5:52
showed you to drop at like five percent
5:53
ten percent
5:54
so the projected value was 270 and 290.
5:57
so your profit is going to be anywhere
5:59
between 45.65
6:01
because those were early days so i'm
6:03
thinking by the time saturday heat
6:05
prices are going to drop down and you're
6:07
going to be making anywhere between 50
6:09
to like 70 dollars okay now i'm gonna
6:12
also show you how to quickly spot the
6:14
fake ones because i've seen fake ones
6:15
and i did i wrote an article
6:17
on my website yesterday to show you how
6:19
to authenticate so let's go to my
6:20
website i'm gonna show you some pictures
6:22
and we're gonna do that now before i do
6:25
that though i have a huge
6:26
announcement okay i'm gonna be giving
6:28
away two pair of shoes the cool gray
6:31
threes okay i'm going to be giving this
6:33
away
6:34
and i'm also going to be giving away a
6:36
pair of jordan 6
6:37
dmp that's going to be done
6:40
within the next i saw actually let me
6:43
tell you what's going to happen
6:44
so basically you have to enter your name
6:47
into
6:49
uh being a partner of household kicks so
6:50
basically all you got to do is i'll give
6:52
it i'll give you a link in the
6:53
description so if you go to that link in
6:55
the description
6:56
all i want you to do is go on my website
6:58
and you're going to
7:00
sign up for it and as you sign up i'm
7:03
just requiring you to do a small
7:04
donation
7:05
and then once you do that donation your
7:07
name is gonna be automatically entered
7:09
to win either these all these i'm gonna
7:13
announce the winners
7:14
after i reached 100 entries and now that
7:17
signing up today what's that gonna give
7:18
you it's gonna give you other perks
7:20
you're gonna get early access to early
7:21
links
7:22
you're gonna get access to coupons and
7:25
uh sneaker release dates and all that
7:26
kind of stuff like that stuff that i get
7:28
through my email i'm gonna make that
7:29
available to you
7:31
so basically every time i get a coupon
7:32
every time i get it early link every
7:34
time i get any sneaker deals or
7:36
any kind of stills you're gonna be
7:37
getting that and every month
7:40
your name is gonna get entered to win a
7:42
pair of uh
7:44
shoes that i'm going to be giving away
7:45
okay now for this month as soon as we
7:47
reach 100 entries i'm going to be giving
7:49
away the kubrick 3
7:50
and the jordan 6 dmp so be sure to do
7:52
that i'll have a link for you in the
7:54
description
7:54
all right now we can go in and talk
7:56
about how to authenticate
7:58
um this show so basically i have some
8:00
two i have two pictures here
8:03
so you can kind of see here uh do these
8:06
are both size 12
8:07
okay there's a lot of things that i want
8:08
to show you first if you look at the top
8:10
portion
8:11
the heel line on the authentic is much
8:13
thicker now as you can see on the fake
8:14
one it's really narrow
8:16
it's like this small and you also see
8:18
the cut here like you cut
8:20
is cut deep on the authentic this is too
8:22
shallow on the fake one
8:23
now the biggest thing with most fakes is
8:26
this
8:26
on the elephant uh print and the cracks
8:29
the cracks are
8:30
usually much bolder and larger on the
8:32
fake press and they also
8:34
the overlay here is too high okay and if
8:36
you look at the air chamber
8:38
the gap between the screen and the edge
8:41
of the midsole is always wider on the
8:42
authentic
8:43
you can see how shallow it is on the
8:45
fake one and the bottom portion here
8:47
that pattern here that the
8:48
rugged portion here it doesn't look the
8:50
same you can kind of see that's off
8:52
on the fakes and also i have something
8:54
else for you the back
8:56
view if you look at the print again see
8:58
the the leather overlay is much
9:00
higher the cut is much higher on the
9:02
authentic pair on the fake pair i mean
9:04
and the cracks are much bolder and wider
9:07
smaller print on the authentic
9:08
and if you look again this this is
9:11
just a liner see how much
9:13
thicker the line is on authentic and
9:15
then the top the tongue tab is too short
9:17
on the fake one you can see the spacing
9:19
here these are both sides 12 so they
9:20
should technically have the same
9:21
features
9:22
now i want to go back to my website and
9:25
i'm going to show you that there's more
9:26
stuff here that you can kind of see
9:28
i have a lot more that i did on on that
9:30
shoe so
9:31
if you want you can go on the website i
9:33

9:35
on jordan for the other day so i will
9:37
have a lot of uh
9:39
authentication uh slides for you there
9:42
so you can go on the website and read
9:44
this entirely okay i have more slides
9:46

9:47

9:49
and also if you want to check out how to
9:50

9:53
i'll have that for you i also worked on
9:55

9:57
don't know if i'm gonna do it because
9:58
it's just don't have the time man it's a
10:00
lot of it's a lot of things to do so i
10:02

10:02
worked on that the other day so if you
10:04
want to look at it you can check it i
10:05
also worked on the jordan 4
