The shoe features a Gym Red, White, and Black color combination . It is built with smooth leather overlays and underlays with snake-like patterns at the heel and on the side swoosh logos. The shoe will retail for $170 and today we’ll attempt to come up with a plausible estimate of the number of pairs that might’ve been produced and also discuss the shoe's resale value.

Hey what's going on guys this is Tye from Asa Kix.com and in a couple of days the Jordan 1 satin snake is coming out on that's on Thursday right the 6th of August
0:11
This is going to be a woman exclusive but they're going to be available in extended sizes so I know a lot of guys are going to want to grab one of them now this is the shoe
0:19
I mean it's pretty much the standard Jordan 1 same kind of leather material is kind of smooth I don't know what kind of leather to use but on the on a quarter panel you can see some kind of fold
0:29
leather there with the snake skin pattern and what you have from the toolbox
0:37
of the back is a little bit of red white in the middle and black on the swish
0:41
logo black on the back and then a little bit of red on some portions of the
0:46
hill and on the forefoot and then your perforations on the toebox this is
0:52
like standard and this is in white and you have your regular oval laces and let me
0:59
see the back no jump man actually the jumpman doesn't show and this is a closer look at the
1:04
toe box and the top of the toe and the back and you can see the snake skin pattern
1:10
there is pretty much it and you have your wings logo on the side this is again
1:15
like signature of all Jordan 1 so this is coming out and on the 6th and today I'm
1:21
gonna do a quick estimate on how many pairs were made we're gonna go through that
1:25
standard method and then I'm gonna draw some conclusions on how much the show's going
1:29
for and all that good stuff all right now again like when I do this estimate is
1:34
purely based on just assumptions that I make myself so I don't work for the brain I don't work for any of this brain so I don't know I don't have
1:42
information I just based in everything that I do on just assumptions that I made up okay so it could be wrong it could be right it just to give you a picture of what going on So I only going to focus on like USA stores for now
1:58
and I build my assumptions. So the first thing you're going to have is who's getting the shoe
2:02
So the major chains are footlogger champs, food action, East Bay Online, Finish Line, JD Sports and Hibbett
2:09
And for the small chains, you have downtown locker room, RooViller, Jimmy Jaze, Shoe City, Shoe Pail
2:14
those are so far this the only place that I've confirmed now to set up the
2:18
assumption I'm gonna give about a quarter of the entire production to Nike
2:22
then foot logger food action chains and east pay are gonna get like half of it and a
2:27
finish line hebert and all the minor chains are gonna split there the remaining
2:31
quarter so I'm gonna give about 24 pairs per foot logger stores
2:35
74 house of hoops locations 18 for food actions and 18 for champs and then I'm
2:40
gonna give the online allocation about a quarter of the entire production the
2:44
physical stores are getting now I'm going to assign an extra one-third to East Bay
2:49
from the combined online allocation from Ftl Ft N champs and I'm going to assume
2:54
that two-third of each footlocker two-third of each chams and two-third of each
2:58
food action is going to get the shoe that's about 600 for footlocker and within
3:02
those 600 you have 170 H-O-H as a hoops and then that's 181 from food action
3:08
and 365 from champs so then now we can just run out numbers simple mathematics
3:12
and simple arithmetic just do 24 times 4 30 that's for the foot locker locations now again
3:18
I'm treating this as if the the regular food lockers are going to operate I'm sure some
3:23
foot locks are not going to get it but let's just skip it as if this was just standard
3:27
this is just what always happens okay so for a foot locker in store we got 10,320
3:34
pairs for house of hoops I got 11 and for food action I got about 3258 for Champs 6570 And then I add these things together to get the total
3:46
So that's 32,048 pairs. And to get the online allocation, I take a quarter out of that
3:52
So that's like 8,012. And then for East Bay, based on my assumptions
3:57
it's 8,012 divided by 3, which is 26, 71. Now, so the grand total for all these entities is just
4:04
adding all this thing together. So when you add it all together, you get 45,000 pairs
4:09
Now, this is the total based on my assumption. Now, to get the total for the USA, I just
4:14
did 45,000 times two. That's like 90,000 pairs. And then you can make some inference on, like
4:20
the global production by doubling this number or even tripling it. So I'm going to say that
4:24
the production is going to be anywhere between 90,000 and 270,000 pairs. Again, that's just
4:30
me making some guesses based on the assumptions. so don't quote me on it just use these numbers to try to help you okay now the next thing we're
4:39
going to talk about is the resale value of the sneaker now when i did my numbers that was like a few
4:44
days ago uh i gave you this a table here that shows you the breakdown right between july
4:49
and july the 23rd and august the first so obviously some dummy paid $798 for the shoe
4:57
and then from then on the shoe kind of dropped to like 435 and then like in the high high 300s
5:04
so you can see the spread over here now with the outliers regular values the
5:09
average price is 380 so this is how much you're going to get for the shoe if you're trying to flip it now without the outliers you get about 377 so based
5:17
on these I made some assumptions and I made some estimates so I'm thinking the
5:21
shoe gonna be anywhere in the high 300 so I thinking like probably it won set any less than 350 so between 350 and up anything 350 and above so that going to be how much you going to be getting for the shoe now based on those numbers your profit margins are going to sit between 160 and 170 and the markups are anywhere between 88 and 94 so that a good shoe for guys I want to make some money on it okay it going to sell out in stores like instantly now I did a breakdown based on what sizes are selling the best so you can see I just go on my website
5:53
and look at it so obviously size 10 and 1 half 11 and 12 the bigger sizes are going for more
5:59
because guys want it and smaller sizes are going for less but again the less is like 320 that's still
6:04
good you still make some good money on it so i mean the highest value uh the highest margins
6:10
and the highest revenues on the bigger sizes are like between 400 and 433 and based on that
6:16
the resale value again is like 377 so you can pretty much figure out what sizes to aim for when
6:21
you look at the table here you can just go on the web and look at it okay now if you want to get the shoe now you can go and I have a
6:28
bunch of guys on my store on my website now you can just click on these and
6:32
then buy it or just take the links in the description all right this is it for
6:36
today guys now if you want me to work on a certain shoe just shoot me a message
6:40
or just me an email and then let me know what you want me to work on that's a lot
6:44
of stuff that I work on on the website out to authenticate your own snickers
6:47
so be sure to do that and again I wanted to remind you be sure to take this
6:52
survey okay I'm working with this company and basically when you take the survey, it's going to tell you
6:57
exactly what kind of shoe you like and it's going to push you and then
7:01
show you exactly what you fits your personal idea or who you are. So I would invite you to just go in and take that on the
7:07
website. I'll provide you with a link in the description again if you want to take this survey for me
7:11
I would really appreciate it. Okay. Again, thanks for watching. This is Die for Myricks
7:15
and stay tuned for my stuff
