Today we’ll try to come up with a plausible estimate of the number of pairs made and the shoe’s current resale value. First let’s get a count of the retailers allocated an inventory beside Nike.

hey what's going on guys this is
0:01
tyborhasakix.com and today we are going
0:03
to talk about the women's
0:04
air jordan 1 silver toe now the shoe is
0:07
going to be coming out
0:08
on friday the 19th of our february
0:12
but they are going to be available in
0:13
like extended sizes so guys with like
0:15
average sizes like size 11 10 11
0:19
and 12 will be able to get their hands
0:20
on them because they come out in like
0:22
women sizes 15
0:23
14 and 14 and a half so this is a shoe
0:25
that a lot of people are going to go for
0:27
but before i get into talking about
0:29
numbers and where to get it i want to
0:31
show you a quick video
0:32
to show you what it looked like and what
0:34
the composition of it is and then we're
0:35
going to get to that all right
0:48
[Music]
0:56
wow
1:00
[Music]
1:10
i
1:18
now let us talk numbers all right so
1:20
we're going to go and talk
1:21
our numbers now when it comes like
1:24
talking numbers i'm always
1:26
uh there are two things that i do i
1:28
always look for who's get the shoe which
1:30
is
1:30
basically the retailers and then we talk
1:33
about
1:34
assumptions and then we go and calculate
1:36
our numbers so
1:37
we're going to go through the same
1:38
series of steps
1:40
now the first thing we want to do is
1:41
like who's getting the shoe now for the
1:43
major chains
1:44
of course a nike is going to get it but
1:46
then you have foot locker foot action
1:48
champs finish line jd sports inhibit
1:52
and then for the smaller chains you have
1:54
uh dtlr
1:56
city chic shoes wss
1:59
and then there's a lot more that are
2:01
gonna get it like
2:02
boutiques and stuff like that but i'm
2:04
not gonna show you all the boutiques
2:05
because their numbers are not really
2:07
significant they don't affect our
2:09
assumptions that much
2:10
so if you want to get access to more you
2:12
can go on sneakish.com and he's going to
2:14
show you
2:15
a lot more places that are getting it
2:17
all right now the next thing we're going
2:18
to do is we're going to
2:20
try to figure out our assumptions
2:23
which is the most key uh step so foot
2:25
locker for action and chains
2:27
they're gonna get about a third of the
2:29
total of production based on
2:31
uh my estimation okay and then the next
2:34
thing is
2:35
when i looked at uh how many foot
2:37
lockers were getting it it was really
2:39
scarce
2:39
so i'm gonna give about a third of the
2:41
foot lockers are gonna get it like most
2:43
households in some select locations
2:45
for food action and champs i'm gonna do
2:47
the same thing so that comes down to
2:49
like 334 foot lockers based on their
2:51
assumptions
2:52
182 champs and then 70 foot actions
2:56
so now the next step is also critical
2:58
which which is
2:59
like how do i assign the number of pairs
3:01
per store
3:02
so for regular foot lockers i'm going to
3:04
give them 18 pairs
3:06
and for hasselhood's location i'm going
3:08
to give them 70 and then for
3:10
champs and food action we're going to do
3:11
the same 18 and 18.
3:13
and then the next step is just to also
3:15
assign you about a third of the total
3:18
inventory to the online allocation
3:21
okay so we're gonna do that as well and
3:23
then next we run
3:24
our numbers so for regular footlockers
3:27
we're gonna do 334 minus 170 because
3:30
that's the
3:31
the 100 the 170 represents uh the house
3:34
of hoops
3:35
and we get 2952 pairs that's what
3:38
regular foot lockers
3:39
now for hasselhood's location we do the
3:41
same thing 170 times 70 which is 11
3:44
900 pairs and for fraction basically 70
3:47
times 18
3:48
12 60 and for champs 182 times 18 32 76
3:54
and then for the online allocation we
3:56
just add all these numbers together
3:57
divided by three based on our
3:59
assumptions which is 6463
4:02
and then the total from footlocker and
4:04
their derivatives is basically adding
4:06
all these numbers together and i came up
4:08
with 25
4:09
851. now since i assume that this is a
4:12
third of the total inventory for north
4:14
america
4:15
so to find the total for the usa we just
4:17
do 25
4:19
581 times three which is 77 500 and 583
4:24
553 which is basically on the total
4:27
production for the usa based on my
4:28
assumption now
4:29
i want to stretch that number to like
4:32
maybe
4:32
160 because the rest of the world is
4:34
gonna get it so i did 80 times two
4:36
so i'm thinking the united states
4:38
probably gonna get like mostly half of
4:39
the inventory
4:40
and everybody else may get like the
4:41
other half so
4:43
based on that i came up with like
4:45
numbers anywhere between
4:46
77 553 to 160 000
4:51
pairs so anywhere between 70 or 80 000
4:55
and 160 000 pairs or maybe even 200 000
4:58
so that's what i'm thinking based on the
4:59
assumptions now
5:01
i want to let you guys know i don't work
5:02
for the brains i don't work for the
5:04
retailer so everything that i say
5:06
is basically purely based on my
5:08
assumptions
5:09
so take my information with a grain of
5:12
salt this is not
5:13
truth this is just a picture of what may
5:16
be happening
5:17
all right so don't go out there and
5:18
quote me and say this guy says this is
5:20
this is coming out so yes he's telling
5:23
the truth no i'm just giving you a
5:24
picture to try and help you
5:26
and then give you like some kind of a
5:27
picture there all right so this is the
5:29
basically what i'm doing
5:30
now the next thing we're going to do is
5:31
we're going to talk about resale
5:33
so let's go and talk about resale now
5:36
for resale the first thing i want to do
5:37
is i want to show you the chart
5:40
and then we're going to talk i'm going
5:41
to give you my rundown okay so you can
5:43
kind of see here
5:45
the goals are represent representations
5:47
of the sizes with the highest returns
5:49
okay so you can clearly see that 12 and
5:51
a half
5:52
13 and a half 13 14 and a half and 14
5:56
are fetching the highest
5:57
uh revenues going anywhere between 350
6:00
all the way to like 525
6:02
even size 15 and a half i should have
6:04
also put that in there
6:06
now all other sizes like anywhere
6:08
between like 11
6:09
10 nine and a half seven seven and a
6:11
half their average is anywhere between
6:13
like 260 and in 280
6:15
well larger sizes are going to probably
6:17
get more attraction because
6:19
again those are like big sizes and men
6:21
want them so there's going to be a lot
6:23
more people gravitating towards those
6:25
sizes
6:25
now let's go back and then we're going
6:27
to look at my chart and we're going to
6:29
kind of break down
6:30
what i came up with so let's check that
6:32
out
6:34
basically you can kind of see that um
6:37
larger sizes sizes 12 to 15 and a half
6:40
have the highest returns
6:42
ranging from 335 dollars to 525
6:46
and every other size falls within the
6:48
260 and 280 range and this is pretty
6:50
much going to be what we can expect
6:52
uh for this particular model like the
6:54
silver toe now so the shoe retails for
6:56
like 182 after tax because the retail
6:58
price is 170.
7:00
okay after tax if you live in maryland
7:01
that's like 12 on top
7:03
so you're paying like 182 so for sizes
7:06
12 to 15
7:07
what you can expect is profit wise is
7:10
anywhere between 120
7:12
and 300 that means that's what you're
7:13
gonna be pocketing 120 between 120 and
7:16
300 if you get any sizes 12 to 15.
7:19
now for any other size like the smaller
7:21
sizes you're gonna be getting
7:22
anywhere between fifty dollars and
7:24
seventy dollars so that means this is a
7:26
pretty good shoe as far as like i'm
7:27
concerned
7:28
now it's gonna sell out because you can
7:29
see how scarce it is okay
7:32
now the next thing i want to talk about
7:33
is the fake uh one that i've seen
7:35
i want to show you quick ways to
7:36
identify them and i'm gonna be writing a
7:39
more extensive post about it later on
7:41
but for now
7:41
these are some of the things that i want
7:42
you to focus on so let's check out what
7:45
to look for in the fake
7:46
pairs okay the first thing here's the
7:48
thing like
7:49
when i saw the fake press it was like
7:50
probably a month ago
7:52
so i'm sure they didn't get a chance to
7:55
like upgrade them yet
7:56
at some point they're gonna upgrade it
7:58
but for now these are the things that
7:59
you can focus on
8:00
i've seen i don't i haven't seen any of
8:02
the hang tag
8:04
on a fake pairs like this hang tag right
8:06
here is a pretty good one
8:07
so it's made with leather and you can
8:10
kind of see
8:10
on the fake one i haven't seen them yet
8:12
so they haven't upgraded it i'm sure
8:14
they're going to do it at some point but
8:15
for now
8:16
these are what you can focus on if
8:17
doesn't have a hang tight don't even
8:19
waste your time
8:20
okay and the next thing i want to talk
8:21
about is the wings logo this is a big
8:24
big big deal if you look at the wings
8:26
logo on the authentic pair
8:28
you see the spacing here the spacing
8:30
where i put the arrow
8:31
it's not as wide as it is on a on a fake
8:33
one you can see there's a lot more loose
8:35
space in here the spaces
8:36
the spacing is just much wider on the
8:39
fake one
8:40
and if you look at the wings okay they
8:42
are not really extended any spacing
8:44
between the wings
8:45
especially between them in between it's
8:47
like
8:48
wider on their on a fake pair you look
8:50
under on the authentic
8:52
it's that space and the gap is not as
8:53
wide as it is on there
8:55
on the fake one and if you look at the
8:56
bottom here you see
8:58
the tip this here this is like these are
9:00
connected these two pieces are connected
9:02
on the fake one they're not connected
9:03
they're like there's like a gap there
9:05
so those are things that you can look
9:06
for this is built
9:08
below the ball and the ball itself is
9:10
like a little small
9:11
and it's space look at it spacing here i
9:13
really want you to focus on that that's
9:15
why i keep saying the same thing space
9:16
and space
9:17
because look at the wings look at this
9:19
spacing here
9:20
look at the gap and look at the one on
9:22
the on the authentic again
9:23
the the wings here the feathers are more
9:25
extended you can kind of see they are
9:26
more extended
9:27
they are really short here the extension
9:29
of it is not as
9:30
long as it is on the authentic let me
9:33
get you a closer picture
9:34
you see that right look look how much
9:36
more they extended here and look how
9:38
short they are
9:39
and look at this piece here and look at
9:40
here and look at the spacing here
9:42
and the spacing here and the next thing
9:44
we're going to look at
9:45
is uh the box okay
9:49
again the fake box is totally off like
9:51
they have a black box with red
9:53
highlights
9:54
and the authentic is a red box with
9:56
black highlights and the ten and a half
9:58
here is much bolder on the authentic
10:00
pair because that's why they highlight
10:02
this is the usa they want to highlight
10:04
that size on the fake where you can see
10:06
it they don't highlight it as much
10:08
here okay that's one thing and then the
10:11
next thing i want to show you
10:12
is the hang and the extra laces back
10:15
see the bag on the authentic pair is
10:17
like sparkly shiny and silver
10:19
on the on the fake one is like gray it's
10:21
not even like sparkly
10:23
there's no sparkles it's not shiny it
10:25
doesn't hit your eyes there's no reflect
10:27
there's nothing like that okay
10:29
so you can kind of see that and you can
10:30
tell from that
10:32
now let's go back and we're going to
10:34
talk about um
10:36
more stuff here let's do that on the
10:38
next let's go back to the site and then
10:40
we're going to talk about where to get
10:42
the shoe now let's say you want to get
10:43
it now you don't want to go through
10:45
uh just going through the retailers
10:47
because you know this is going to sell
10:48
out i have a link for in the description
10:50
you can buy it
10:51
straight on ebay via authenticity
10:54
guaranteed okay so you can do that and
10:56
then get you
10:56
access to authentic pairs again thanks
10:58
for watching this is ty from asset kicks
11:00
and if you want to get access to more
11:02
posts on real versus fake
11:03
i have a ton of those on on my legit
11:05
check page and if you want me to
11:07
authenticate your shoe
11:08
