Praying together helps the two of you be in one mind and heart it will help improve your spiritual intimacy. Another benefit of praying together is, you combine forces to fight your battles on your knees which is the most effective way of dealing with internal battles... You will solve a lot of conflicts if the two of you are in sync spiritually. However, praying together doesn't mean praying at the same time and the same place however for some that can be the case.
