Scalloped Potatoes Recipe 🥔🧀
Ingredients:
4-5 large potatoes (about 2 pounds), peeled and thinly sliced (1/8 inch thick)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
Prepare Potatoes: Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick). You can use a mandoline slicer for even slices.
