Mississippi Pot Roast Recipe π₯©π₯πΆοΈ
Ingredients π±π₯
3-4 pounds chuck roast or beef roast π₯©
1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix π²
1 packet (1 ounce) au jus gravy mix π²
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick) π§
5-6 pepperoncini peppers πΆοΈ
1/4 cup pepperoncini pepper juice (from the jar) πΆοΈ
Instructions πβ¨
Prepare the Slow Cooker π₯π₯
Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
Add Butter and Peppers π§πΆοΈ
Place the stick of butter on top of the roast. Scatter the pepperoncini peppers around and pour the pepperoncini juice over everything.
Cook the Pot Roast β²οΈπ½οΈ
Cover the slow cooker with the lid. Cook on low heat for 8 hours, or on high heat for 4-5 hours, until the roast is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
