Crepes Recipe
Crepes Recipe Introduction Crepes, the delicate and thin French pancakes, are a versatile delight enjoyed for breakfast, brunch, or even dessert. Known for their simplicity and adaptability, crepes can be filled with sweet fruits and chocolate or savory cheese and ham. With just a few ingredients, you can whip up a batch of tender crepes to suit any taste. Ingredients 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 large eggs ½ cup milk ½ cup water ¼ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons melted butter Additional butter or oil for cooking Instructions Make the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, eggs, milk, water, and salt. Whisk until smooth. Stir in melted butter and continue mixing until there are no lumps. The batter should be thin; if it’s too thick, add a little water. Heat the Pan: Preheat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of butter or oil to coat the surface. Cook the Crepes: Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the center of the pan, tilting it in a circular motion to evenly coat the surface. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown. Flip with a spatula and cook for another 30 seconds to a minute.
