A thrifty bride created an amazing one-of-a-kind wedding decor for her friends and family after she spent months thrifting every item so that it would be unique to her. Tarryn Pitt, 25, from Prineville, Oregon, estimated that she thrifted more than 500 objects for her big day—including the likes of lounge chairs, cutlery, glassware, a makeshift photo booth, and her bridal party table. She’s also thrifted photo frames, a cake stand, a cake topper, hangers for bridesmaid dresses, bottles for flowers, dessert plates, and several other smaller touches to make the wedding unique to her. Tarryn has been thrifting since a young age – so much so the hobby has been "woven into the fabric of her life," she said. Ahead of her big day, at Pole Creek Ranch, in Sisters, Oregon, on May 3, Tarryn decided to use her passion for finding objects with ties to the past as a way of expressing herself. The bride has a series of thrift stores she visits regularly, at least once or twice a week, and slowly she added piece after piece to her collection. These items were stored at her home that she shares with her now-husband, Holt, 25, and after amassing a large collection of items by February, Tarryn was still on the hunt for additional touches right up until her big day. The 25-year-old documented her journey on social media, where viewers have praised her money-saving approach, as well as her decision to give items a second chance.
