U.S. Marines from 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), perform detection and monitoring patrols along the southern border wall, south of San Diego, California on December 9, 2025. JTF-SB executes full-scale operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
