Night Ops RAF Lakenheath • F-15 Eagles & Strike Eagles

The 48th Fighter Wing conducts night operations at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England on February 1-2, 2021. RAF Lakenheath is home to the Liberty Wing, consisting of more than 4,500 military members, over 1,000 British and U.S. civilians and includes a geographically-separated unit at nearby RAF Feltwell. RAF Lakenheath is the largest U.S. Air Force-operated base in England and the only U.S. Air Force base in Europe to have USAF F-15 fighter jets continuously on duty.
