AFSOC Forward Arming & Refueling Point For F-35A & F-15E
U.S. Air Force Special Tactics Operators secure and open a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) from an MC-130J Commando II aircraft for two F-35A Lightning II and two F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets during Operation Rapid Forge at Ämari Air Base in Estonia on July 25, 2019. The MC-130J Commando II, and aircrew, are able to execute refueling missions in austere, sensitive or hostile territories. AFSOC (Air Force Special Operations Command) operators are the U.S. Air Force's special operations ground force, leading global access, precision strike, personnel recovery, and surgery operations on the battlefield.
